Hmm....have you virus checked? I would suggest maybe a system restore would be useful? Like you go back to a saved state before the computer started being weird?

There shouldn't be anything wrong with it, I scanned and there's no viruses.
It's got a new hard drive, it started just after I put windows xp onto it. Tried reformatting and everything. T 3T I wish I had the money for a new one.

OMIGAWD! I had the same problem a few hours ago! I tried system restore, everything I could think of, but it just wouldn't let me on the internet, so we turned it off and came back and it seemed to have fixed itself.

Haruhi; if you've completely restarted your system (shut down computer completely and waited at least 5 mins to turn it back on (not a "restart") wink , and also tried a system restore and its not working- I'd suggest re-installing your operating system.
You could also check for viruses as a contributing factor- but if I recall right that error is an operating system problem. A free anti-virus checker is AVG and I'd also probably run Ad-aware and Disk Clean up. (Disk clean up is already on your computer in the control panel under system maintenance or something) I love Ad-aware for getting rid of so much crap on my computer. Tracking cookies & such.
A system reinstall is your best bet though. Hope you get it fixed!

Hmm that is weird confused I've never had a trouble with operating systems...I have Vista so I'm not good with XP anymore lol.

I still use XP Pro and will probably use it until I'm either forced not to- or something besides Vista comes out. I've heard so many bad things about Vista and seen a lot of issues with it.
That and I love my Firefox xd
