Jadens claws raked up Rogues back, cracking each of her ribs as the moved. At the position he was at ripping the girl in half would have been childs play. "Why Is It That Whenever I Try To Be Nice To My Opponents They Just Send It Back At Me?!" he roared. "No Matter Who I'm Killing It's All The Same!"

Rogue roared as her back was slowly sliced open by his large claws. The pain was almost too much, and a puddle of blood was forming beneath where a large chunk was missing out of her torso. Rogue's hands gripped the grass in front of her. She managed to push out the words..."Because we know...nice...gets you...killed..."

Jaden crouched down and snarled into Rouges face. "And I don't know this?" He shook himself slightly. The silver wound was starting to burn slightly and it was irritating him to no end. "I want the Subway System. You have all the restaurants and everything above ground. I want what's below it. Isn't that reasonable?"

"I...don't...make deals with ...dogs.." Even if she wanted to spare her own skin and make the deal with him, she would be at risk for treason for making deals, especially as an Elder, and without joined approval of the Elders, she would rather die than go against giving up the subway willingly. Though it would end up an entirely different story if he just took it, she just could not give 'consent' to such a thing.

Jaden's ears flicked slightly. His temper had decreased slightly though his wound was still bothering him. "I wasn't asking for it." he growled, swishing his tail. "I was being nice and saying I was taking it. There are a lot of Lycan's that like those tunnels. We'll take them off your hands."

Sibyl entered the park and upon doing so, noticed that the place was completely and utterly vacated. No one was left but a very apparent squad of vampires that belonged to Alasdair, Alasdair himself, two people that were talking amongst themselves, another vampire, some girl off talking to herself, Rogue and Jaden. What caught her attention was the fact that Jaden and Rogue were fighting and the outcome of the battle seemed to be pretty clear. She wondered why Alasdair was standing by as Rogue was being beaten and battered by Jaden and his much more apparent fitter form. Rogue wasn't up for battle and Jaden was nothing short of ready for it.
What had interested her had been the fact that Jaden had actually considered allowing Rogue to go scot free without a fight. She'd never considered that he'd have a more human side to his thoughts as when she'd spoke with him, he mostly joked and other such things. However, seeing it did not surprise her in the least since Sibyl had thought Jaden was a good person. Once again, her head turned, expecting Alasdair to do something or have her do something though that'd jeopardize her supposed alliance with the lycans. She was a pawn, there was little thought on her part other than analysis and data collection as well as blending in and serving her purpose.

Alasdair had been rushing to save Rogue, but all the events slowed him down. He heard as Adrian had been taken into the Haven. He saw Sibyl walking into the park and he knew that Adrian’s three man squad was still on the park.
Alasdair flicked his earring to open communications with the sub commander of the squad. Alasdair ordered the squad leader to move the sniper’s aim over to Rogue, and to move the squad stealthily towards him.
He hoped that he was not too late to help Kaei. He would really hate himself if the last things out of his mouth to her were to fight. But Sibyl also caught Alasdair’s gaze. Was she going to fight the lycan elder? It would be better if she helped him.
Alasdair decided to make Sibyl help him indirectly. If he was not able to beet an elder, he’ll just have to lure the elder away. Alasdair flicked another earring, this one connecting him to Sibyl. “Sibyl, go to the lycan elder and do whatever you can to get him out of the park.” Alasdair ordered as he rushed to help Rogue.

Sibyl was prepared to fulfill any commands given to her but until she was issued orders, she would not act on her own for she had little will of her own and she knew that she could jeopardize the situation with her presence. She also knew that Alasdair might want her to help out with Rogue being beaten to a pulp but she didn't know how he'd want her to go about it. There was a peaceful way, where she didn't risk exposing that she was working for Alasdair or there was an unpeaceful option where she could battle Jaden himself and give Rogue time to escape and either continue to battle with him or flee herself.
Once given orders to do whatever she could to get him out of the park, she decided that she would go about things as peacefully as she could while not getting Rogue killed in the process. It was time to place her mask on again and go about as if things were normal and that she wasn't some dog working for the vampires. She was perfectly fine with playing her part and role, there was no guilt for she couldn't feel any. There was no obligation to her pack, either, which had gotten her into this mess in the first place because she'd been stripped of her loyalty to her pack and to her friends.
Sibyl shifted into her wolven form, flashing her clothes away while she made her way at high speeds toward Jaden. She loped beautifully like the true predator that she was and went to save Rogue's life on her master's behalf, something the normal Sibyl would have cringed at. ~Jaden,~ Sibyl's calm, quiet voice spoke into his mind seeing as though she was in her wolven form, ~just let her go. Clearly she's not worth your time, she cannot even fight properly. She's too stubborn and proud to give up her territory so just dominate it and take it as your own. Besides, we're in the park of all places and people are going to come walking through and see this mess. The last thing we need are the hunters on our cases about this along with that odd yet heavily armed group. Plus there are three vampires with rifles and my bet is they've got silver bullets.~ She then turned to Rogue, having to at least see the person she was talking to in order to be able to speak into their mind. ~Let go of your pride and let him think he's won the territory, Madam. He's not going to let you out of here unless you agree to his terms or I attack him, your choice.~

Alasdair reached a close enough distance to Rogue. It looked like Jaden had pinned Kaei to the ground, and she was helpless. He was fighting every impulse to go there and fight him himself. But as he was about to jump down and attack the elder, Sibyl walked into the scene. She definitively saw Adrian’s squad that was on the other side of the park –now making its way stealthily towards Alasdair.
Alasdair decided to show Jaden that there were others at the park.
Alasdair flicked his communicator to Sibyl. “Sibyl, be very still”
Alasdair then flicked his other earring, which connected to the squad leader. “Sniper, shoot at Sibyls head, but make sure you miss very slightly… But don’t touch her.”

Sibyl heard Alasdair's command loudly and clearly, though no one else could hear the command, it was silent to them or perhaps a weird frequency was emitted but either way it was impossible to hear Alasdair's voice. She didn't even bother to respond to Alasdair's command as that would require her to turn around to look at him to be able to talk to him through her mind. That or she'd have to turn into her human form, which wasn't an option, seeing as she wasn't supposed to move. Instead, she merely stood there and listened with her advanced hearing as the bullet whizzed toward her, just narrowly missing her head. She responded to the bullet by forcing herself to turn and snarl though the sniper was conveniently hidden from view, likely perched in a tree, ready to shoot again at Alasdair's command.

Rogue had coughed a few more times, and her eyes were somewhat rolled back into her head, all her wounds raw, and she lay there in her own pile of blood barely staying conscious. The only thing that kept her conscious, however was the foreign mind speaking into her own. It was a lycan, that much she could tell. The minds held different signatures. Get out of my head, dog...I don't associate with your KIND. The words were spat into Sibyl's mind and were angry...whatever was left of Rogue's conscious mind was quite furious.

Simi-chan "Oh Lord," Meredith exclaimed with a shudder, "that'd be hell on earth since that guy's kick-a** when he wants to be. That'd just be- it'd suck a**, yeah, that's what it'd be. Hm, maybe that means us hunters need to step up our game and show everyone that we can be bad too." She smiled at the thought and then smirked to him, revealing her fangs. "No worries, though, I'll kick his a** if he thinks of trying anything too bold. And trying to hurt my hunters and turn them against me is definitely something worth kicking his a** for. Right now, though, it just sucks because I'd get served butt-kicking for dinner tonight if I decided to try anything. No offense but I don't think you're able to take out an entire squad of rifle-wielding vampires but who knows, there are a lot of crazy things that mofos seem to be able to do these days so I'm not about to say you can't before I even know for myself."
So long as the person was not on Eden's bad side, she talked to everyone casually unless they gave her a reason not to, such as being an absolute a** hole. There were more reasons but being an a** hole was probably the most common reason that someone would be on Edith's bad side. As for Jack, he seemed alright so far. He had a sense of humour and he wasn't a downer like some psychologists tended to be. He also didn't talk down to her like he knew everything better than her and he didn't talk to her like she was one of his patients so all was good so far. "Damn." Meredith bit her lip, somewhat to punish herself for asking such a stupid question. "I'll bet that sucks a**, not that I can say I know exactly how it feels. I don't see my mom anymore since I moved here but I miss her a hell of a lot and if anything happened to her, I'd hate myself for not being there to say goodbye. It's probably one of my biggest fears. My parents dying and me not knowing about it because I can't let them contact me because that puts them at risk of being hunted down in this God forsaken city."
Eden allowed silence to overcome them for a little wee bit until she grew curious and decided that she'd risk asking what'd happened to them. Likely something had happened to them as hunters since he'd said that was their job. "So were your parents killed on the job, then? Or was it something else?" She hoped that they hadn't committed suicide or anything because nothing was worse than reminding a psychologist of all people that their parents had committed suicide and they hadn't been able to stop it. Psychologists were kind of freaks that way. They always needed to help people and when they failed, a lot of them took it much too much to heart and it bothered them forever. However, she wasn't sure what his answer would be though she figured the most likely one would be that they'd been KIA or something like that. Perhaps MIA but something to do with the fact that they'd been hunters. The more she thought about it, the more she thought it was probably a bad idea to ask the question in the first place, however, she decided to stick with it.
That was when they were interrupted by some vampire chick that was attempting to hide her fangs as though it was going to assist her in not being recognized by anyone. Instead of allowing Jack a chance to answer, she decided to answer herself, "It's the evening at current and the sun's just at the horizon, so I'd assume that it's about ... Um, eight, nine o'clock?" She didn't appreciate that the vampire had asked Jack as opposed to her and had pretended as though she didn't exist. She also hadn't appreciated that the vampire had completely and totally interrupted their conversation without even excusing herself or anything. Edith may have grown up on the streets but she at least had some decent manners, unlike this lady. Naturally, Meredith had placed herself between Jack and the female vampire while talking to her and keeping her occupied. She did not trust her at all since she was no hunter. "Now go get a meal elsewhere, vampire."
Tiaret looked at the woman who had adressed her." So you found me out did you. Well, it looks like we got a smart one her. None the less, I am getting a meal even if it means a duel." she said as she got into a fighing stance.

All the while Rogue was suffering and coughing, Sibyl's gaze observed her with emotionless eyes. They were eyes of coldness, devoid of emotion and it was apparent in her eyes as well as her voice when she spoke to Rogue that the outcome of this wasn't truly a huge concern of hers. ~My master's the one who wants your life spared so it'd be in your best interest, Madam, to cooperate. Alasdair's my master and that is the sole reason that this have been made my business as well as yours and his. I'm here to assist you, not to fight or harm you so the insults are not going to get us anywhere, Madam.~

"Of course I found you out, I'm a hunter, it's my job to exterminate monsters such as yourselves. You think I'm stupid or something?" She then went on to do a small impression that she made up inside her head as she went along, "Hi little vampire, come on right over here and have yourself a nice nibble, my blood's quite tasty. I know this because I've allowed a whole bunch of other vampires to do the exact same thing to helpless little me." There was a pause and then she decided to ask, "You are aware that the battle axe on the back here isn't just a fashion statement, right?" There was another pause for a moment as Eden took some time to laugh a slight bit at the fighting stance the vampire made and she decided to honestly give this chick a chance to ditch before she really got roughed up. After all, once a fight began, Eden was mostly business and whatever happened in business was just business. "Alright. I'm going to give you one chance," Meredith explained to her in a condescending tone as though she were a mother speaking to her child, "you should take the advice and leave while you can. Two against one isn't all that fair anyhow and since I'm a vampire, too, that's even more for you to worry about, there, Ms. Bold Lone Fighter."
She smiled to the obviously young vampire and waved her to bring it on if she wanted, though she'd given the vampire her warning. There was always the walk away tactic that her mom had always begged her to use as a child as opposed to stand up for herself too often and get into fights but that was just how Meredith was. She stood her ground and didn't allow others to push her around, simply because she wanted to do what she wanted to do and people couldn't make her choices for her or scare her into submission. However, they were in a park and it was a public place out in the wide open for everyone to see their little display. Then again, no one seemed to be in the park, which was quite possibly due to people fighting in it and slamming eachother around. It was like some huge desserted wasteland where everyone was fighting eachother, trying to prove that they were the best. All that Edith could hope was that the press wasn't around and that no one had reported the incidents to the authorities or everyone would be in deep s**t and there would have to be some massive cover-up stories. Those were definitely annoying.

She felt like she was suffocating in her own blood, and indeed, Rogue was about drowning. She wondered what it would be like to die. She had felt her own death close to 600 years ago and it wasn't so bad, and she thought she would never wake, yet cruelty of the universe made her rise into this...whatever this was.
Was there any part of her that was quite human...really human? She felt more human than ever as the fragility of life hung in the balance. She didn't quite care...the black seemed so inviting...to never wake again... I will not commit treaso..n..nn.....
"Nnnnn..." Rogue's head finally relaxed as she passed out completely.
