....Generally, I just become tsundere....
Tell them they're evil and a meanie and stuff, even though I know they know what I really mean.
Try...and usually fail....to get back at them by attempting to make them blush, but so far that's never happened and I have no idea how to make them blush because they tend to just accept things....and even if they DID blush, they wouldn't say they were.
It's so unfair...but that's how they are and if they weren't that way they wouldn't be them.
Generally, the meanieness is not-so-secretly something I like or want, but I'm trying to not let them know by me specifically saying it's something I want or like.
My reactions give it away without my saying anything as it is....*grrr*
Though their dad recently managed to surpass my blushy flail and reach a whole other level....made me blush so badly from being happy and not very good at handling compliments that all I could do was look slightly down, smile uncontrollably, blush like a fiend, and keep doing the cooking stuff I was doing.
He ended up asking if he'd embarrassed me...which he kind of had, but not in a bad way...
And that meanie enjoyed my reaction far too much....said he was loving what was going on as his father asked if he'd embarrassed me...
Oo>///////////////////////It's so bad I still bet extremely blushy thinking about it....because of what was said and what it means.
Well....yeah. Minimaps help a whole lot. Sadly when you've been kinda thrown into the deep end when you don't really know how to swim...those don't usually help all that much.

Think cross between video game and real-life. Trucker guy has to help his chinese friend save his girlfriend from the evil villain who was cursed by a chinese god, set in the 1980's. Easier to understand? And agreed.

that sounds less like a 'secret weapon' and more along the lines of what is already known, tbh. i wish you luck in finding out what makes them blush in the future, though, so that you can have your revenge. and that encounter with the father definitely seems unusual for your usual reaction; i'm impressed. congratulations, father of the relationship partner of amu
you have a very good point, there. minimaps only help if you know the game beforehand. or at the very least, the TYPE of game

yep, much easier to understand. thanks for that second explanation. sounds mildly interesting

Makes sense.
It was rather weird.

I think by 'fix' he more means make me want to watch it with him and not get bored.
More than once.
Which I have no problem watching Star Wars with him.
I like it, just not as much as he apparently does?
I'd watch literally anything with him.....unless it's horror (which he doesn't watch) or super gory...(which he also doesn't watch)
Even if I don't super like something, he does and I want to know about/do things he likes.
Though I need to get him to watch some things I want him to see.
Like Clue.

Well, I guess that could be an issue depending on how often he wants to watch it... It's not like the movie changes each time you see it, so that can get boring.
I'll watch many genres, but most of what I like qualifies as Horror to some extent. Thrillers, Suspense, the scary Sci-Fi, etc. I just will not watch comedies, romantic or otherwise. They tend to be too stupid to be tolerable. Anything else? Sure, let's do it.

Clue is amazing! That's another one to add to my list of movies to buy...

Considering he's only watched the Clone wars cartoon recently, it's not much of a problem.
Would you watch say....spaceballs?

IT IS.
I love that movie to death.
It's just fantastic.
Apparently it failed in at the box office because they didn't show all the endings in each theater and didn't label which ones had "Ending A", so people were confused.
Now that it shows all the endings....people love the film.

Anything Mel Brooks is definitely the exception to my No Comedies rule.

Well, that was silly. Having all of the endings is what really makes it.
Especially when you don't know it has more than one. I was super confused the first time I watched it, and suddenly a second ending began.

Good.
^_^

IT was silly, but the studio or whoever thought that move would earn them more money because the audiences would go to see the other endings.
Obviously that didn't work like they'd planned.

...I call it secret, as he never knows when or if I'll use it.
Mainly because I don't tell him.
And thanks.....wait. I remember something I did once, but it didn't cause blushing...
However looking back, it WAS a 'victory' in the sense I managed to surprise him such that he acted a little bit like I do when someone does something nice you don't expect.
.....I will figure it out somehow.
If only because I like doing things to make others happy even if it's the kind of thing that if done to me, I deem as 'evil'.
Yeah. This is why I usually watch something first if I've never ever played it or anything like it before.

You're welcome. It is interesting. Interesting and semi-terrible making it awesome.

ahh, okay. that makes sense as to why you call it secret, then. kinda. i think? idk
so basically like when you sent me that kimono. which was INCREDIBLY evil, if i haven't mentioned that before even though i'm pretty sure i have. it seems the way for you to achieve victory is to become a supervillain, with your supervillain-y power being doing nice things that you would consider evil if done to you
an understandable thing to do. it makes sense to do such as that, though i don't usually because i don't like getting the story spoiled for me. conflicting thought processes, ho!

never heard 'interesting' and 'semi-terrible' making something awesome being used, before now. i'll keep it in mind if i get really bored and want to watch something new

You did mention that.
And all I did was let them sleep because they needed it and I'd rather they take a nap or whatever if they need it even if I'm there to see them.
I even told them as much.
Apparently I'm the first to have done that.
mhm.

I like movies that aren't really all that good, but because of the manner in which they aren't good (And mediocre won't work for this) they end up being pretty damn fantastic. Sometimes the plot is terrible, but the acting is good...or the plot is "WTF" and the acting isn't bad. Or it's just plain hilarious to watch this one character having to deal with it all. I mean, I really like "The thing from outer space" because it's about a bloodthirsty vegetableman from outerspace. And it's a 50's monster/suspense/50's version of a horror film?, which makes it even better.

i figured i had, but it was still evil. and that's mildly surprising. just letting him sleep when he needed it caused him to react that way? i've got negative seventy four ideas as to how one would achieve victory over someone like that, then

if movies like "MARS ATTACKS" count as a similar category, then i know the kinds of movies you mean. and they can be a good way to pass the time, but ultimately aren't my cup of Tea(vana). fun to watch with friends and/or family, though

All he really said was that I was the first (gf) to do that.
So I figure his previous gfs must have gotten upset over him being tired or busy or whatever and I didn't.
I just let him sleep for as long as he needed to and didn't wake him.
Because he's important and I care and stuff and reasons.
And since he almost never shows reactions of "you're okay with that? but...*not used to someone being okay with XYZ thing*"....that's totally a victory.

Yes, that movie counts, though I can't entirely watch that one because of the stabby detachable hand thing... Though I rarely watch movies by myself unless I know no one else will watch it....I'd watch Big Trouble in Little China by myself more than willingly....heck I should do that today after I get housework and stuff done.

Obviously that didn't work like they'd planned.

Not at all. But, Rocky Horror Picture Show had a similar thing.
It bombed in theatres until they rereleased it, leaving a place for heckling lines.
Half the fun of the Rocky Horror stage show was the audience participation, so when there was no spaces left in the movie where those lines would go, people hated it.

wow. if that's the case, his previous gfs sucked. people shouldn't get upset over something another person can't control. you can take preventative measures against being tired, but sometimes you can be tired even while eating right and getting plenty of sleep

i don't remember much of it, since i saw it like... 7 years ago now i think?? 5 years ago??? idk. it was some point in time ago and i don't remember the stabby detachable hand thing but wish i could. and i can understand the lack of desire to watch movies by one's self, since movies are more of a group thing than a solo activity. hope you enjoyed watching the movie again, though

Even if he does get enough sleep, he has no real control over being tired for other reasons.
The GF part was a presumption on my part, mainly because of the context of the situation...
I've also only ever met one of his ex gfs and that one was definitely the type to get upset over extremely stupid and illogical things.
(I actually tried to help him get her to shut up one time about some conservatory students rehearsing a musical above where we were having one acts....because even though we were there 'first', it's the conservatory's territory and they were letting us use the space, so throwing a b***h-fit would be stupid, ill-advised, and could have gotten us kicked out of that space. The idiot couldn't understand that and I could tell was pissing him off, so I decided to help...partly because she was pissing me off too)

...I forgot to watch the movie....^_^;; And I like watching them by myself, I just usually don't because I tend to end up forgetting if it's just me. When I watch them by myself, I can be as loud and annoying as I want without bothering others. But it's also fun to watch with people who will be loud and annoying with you.

like i said, preventative measures. doesn't mean they'll succeed, but they have a possibility of helping. then there's the multiple different types of being tired; physically tired, mentally tired, emotionally tired, etc. etc.
well, either way, if they were all like that one that you met, from what you've said of him he deserved way better than them
... wow. that is a really stupid thing to do. be allowed into someone else's space, then complain about them doing what they normally do? not smart in the least

eh, there's always another time to watch a movie if you have a physical or digital copy of it. and that's an understandable reason not to, as shown by how you forgot to watch the one you said you were probably gonna watch

well, one can hope, at least. that'd be some seriously crappy luck if they were
if she was, then it sounds like she's a pretty crappy one

yaaaay watching things you like with friendlies! hopefully they enjoy it, too; the worst thing is when you show someone something you really like and you hope they will too and then they dislike it
