Adrian grinned weakly, "As soon as I get better I'm gonna take you up on that offer..." He muttered happily, he flailed for a second, and produced a flask, one of many flasks from the various pockets he had sewn into his coat. He downed it, and gagged slightly when he realised that was his Absinthe storage.

Mephlius agave a slight wave with his free hand. "Hey, Dr. Jack. We've just had a little... misunderstanding." Mephlius sugar-coated the situation.

Meredith was the first to reach Adrian, seeing as she was closest to him after having punched the one vampire squad member out. She caught him before he fell and assured that she was not squeezing him to death then allowed Mephlius and Amnity to handle him. "You know, you're really going to get yourself killed if you keep getting yourself beaten and battered like this, bub. I remember when I was in the infirmary all the time for busting s**t ... Ugh ... Not good memories, I hate morphine ... Awful thing. And as for battling me, I fight dirty so you might want to stick to either Mephlius or Amnity because I'm not full of perfected and trained movements like martial arts. I'm an a** hole." She smiled to Adrian then turned to Jack and rolled her eyes at him. "You're guilty as hell and there's a psychic in the vicinity. More of an observer than a participater?"

Oh f***! It's the psychologist! It wasn't that Amnity didn't like Jack, she just hoped that he didn't see the whole little scene, or he may make another appointment with her. "N-Nothing, just escorting our injured friend here back to Haven." She too was trying to sugar coat the moment, so it will not apear as if they needed another talk. "Let's head back to Haven then shall we?.....It wouldn't have been fair anyway, I so had you in that fight..." The last part she whispered to Adrian, her competitive side showing it's ugly colors.

Jack smiled at Edith and contained his mirth. He wasn't mocking her, but psychics sure had the tendency of revealing you to the world. Nifty ability nonetheless. Yes, Dr. Dupree did not help them in the battle, but did they honestly need it. He studied the others within the small group of hunters and grinned. They all look fine. Injured... but fine. He returned his gaze to Edith and beamed at her. He shook his head slightly. "No," he said mater-of-a-factly, "You must be mistaken.. I just got here." Might as well play a game.

Meredith had calmed down now that she'd had some time to cool off and now that all of her hunters were getting out of harm's way and returning to haven. As for this smart-a**, she didn't know who he was so she'd actually have to ask the little smart alec his name. "Yeah and I'm a normal everyday human that doesn't have fangs or anything. These are just inserted by a dentist to scare the s**t out of people and so I can actually bite people with them. You know, blood's quite tasty, tastes like copper. Anyhow, nice try bud but not good enough, you're busted and trying to make me doubt myself. You should be ashamed. I'm Edith, Edith Jackson." She extended her hand to shake his in a friendly gesture and she smiled to him. The guy was interesting but it was too early in the game for her to decide whether she liked him or not.

"I don't know," Jack said at a normal speaking volume, "You seem pretty normal to me."
Jack gazed past her and around their vicinity. The hunters may have left but an entire zoo of Vampires (not including Edith) had been here as well. The Psychologist couldn't put the string of events together. He was simply to busy running errands with the NYPD. He'd have to speak with Amnity about them very soon. Their next appointment had been delayed long enough. He shook the young and spunky vampire's hand and smiled back. This one sure loved her sarcasm, and seemed to be the kind of person who'd have no qualms punching him in the face. Ouch!
"Nice to meet you," Jack nodded, "I'm Jack Dupree. Possibly the only psychologist in the NYHG roster."

Veroen had been in hiding for a while, just observing all the events he could, and gathering enough information for the day. he decided to head out of the Park. As he Walked out of the shadows, and towards the exit of the Park, he looked over silently over to the female hunter talking to some other male mortal, and with no expression, continuously looked at them for a minute, then vanished.

"Those who seem normal aren't always as normal as you think they are," she said to him as she gave him a wink and followed his gaze over her shoulder. She saw that there was a crap load of vampires and that if the two of them tried anything that they would definitely be outnumbered, that and the park wasn't going to be constantly vacated so it was best to just leave them alone for the time being. "Don't worry about them. There's not much we can do about them without getting our asses majorly kicked and not to mention broken egos, whether or not you have one since I sure as hell know I do. They aren't going to be up to too much, I hope, though the people in the park might not be so lucky to have them here ... Oh, what a great time to be in the lovely park! We could take a stroll and have our heads bitten off, sound like fun, dear? Why yes, of course, dearest, let's go so the hunters can't do s**t about it and save us! Cand I come too, mama? Why of course, dear! Let's go!" She coughed to show that she was annoyed and listened to him as he finally shook her hand.
"Hm ..." Meredith said as she brought her hand up to her chin as though examining him and inspecting him. "I can't say the same, Mr. Dupree. After all, you did lie to me and now you tell me that you're a psychologist. They're sneaky bastards that love lying to people. Hm ... A psychologist is good nonetheless. Unless of course you suck a** at serving as a psychologist, then you're pretty useless but you're probably going to accumulate a lot of clients since lots of us hunters have real issues. I'll bet you have issues too ... You got a psychologist?" She paused for a moment and then began laughing. "Oh wow! I sound like a child with ADHD, moving from one question to the next. Perhaps you'll have to see if you're able to diagnose me with it since I don't like sitting still and I like disrupting things from time to time." She smiled and forgot to let go of his hand so did so after she'd ceased babbling to him.

"It was a compliment," Jack grinned, "Vampires aren't so different from humans. You shouldn't think yourself as an oddity amongst the populace." He listened to the rest of her rant and scratched the back of his head. Their were definitely plenty of vampires and possibly other spies watching intently at the aftermath of the battle. This wasn't the best place to be at the moment and the hairs on the back of his neck couldn't help but stand up. "Yea, this place is getting pretty hot. What can you expect though? Another fight with Alasdair and his people just took place."
"I was just joking with you, Ms. Jackson." Jack said in a respectful manner despite his jokey mannerisms. "I just like helping people, people with problems... in the Hunter profession. My parents were high-ranking members of the Boston Hunter Organization and I've met plenty of people with problems." Jack shook his head and chuckled at her claim of him having issues. "Everyone has issues, Ms. Jackson. Some people are just better at ignoring it."
((Sorry, the electrical socket in my bathroom stopped working and I had to help my roommate fix it.))
