Oh.
I played a bit of Warhammer today at my hobby shop.
I was this dude's Eldar.
It was quite a bit of fun, but I got owned cause I have no idea how to play Eldar right.

I've never played the Eldar. Personally, they never really appealed to me. I guess I just don't like the style of the their units.
I'm glad you had fun though. The learning aspect is often that way. The challenge of it is fun. You'll find with an older game like 40k ( or fantasy ) there are a lot of established tricks and things like that. One of the good ( but expensive ) things they do is bring in a new codex for each faction every so often, which makes for a lot of fresh army lists or rules.

I just played the Eldar cause it was offered to me. I was just watching and he offered to let me play.
I was against the damn Necron. Freakin bastards can come back to life.
Not sure what I would be if I had my own army. I liked the Eldar looks, but they have funky tactics.
