"Then Uriel could have his from inheritance." Orient states.

The Blue shakes his head, "Doesn't work that way. Blues can inherit, because it is the power of life. No one's ever found proof of a child of a purple existing. Even when their seed is passed along, it always results in a miscarriage... and if he were second generation, he'd not be so strong."

"How do you know that if you've never seen a second generation before?" Orient demands.

Kyo sighs a little, "Because I've seen many second generation Blues. Blues and Purples tend to be about even in power, or else one side would have already won by now."

Orient doesn't understand any of this stuff, but he's tired of talking about it. He frowns. "I have other things to be doing. I'll see you at dinner." he says, then walks off. He decides that he really needs to warn Uriel about this guy.

As Orient leaves though, Kyo feels it necessary to point out, "It's not my nature to do anything until the purple does first. He keeps playing it nice, I will too."
He pauses a moment, and then hoping to add credibility to his account, he points out, "And the Purple's in your room."
Kyo can always See where Uriel is on the ship, and as long as Orient is nearby, or Kyo tries at all, he can See the Prince too.

Orient resists the urge to glare back at him. He had been heading to his room, to think, but since Uriel is there, he decides to still go, but to warn Uriel while he's there.

Uriel had gone to Orient's room for two reasons... the first to get in some reading, while he still had a bounty of books available to him (he has resigned himself to leaving his collection with Orient when he leaves, since he sure can't cart it around with him).
The second was... that since it's during the day, so Caspian is working, so on the offchance Orient was there... Uriel wouldn't have to share him with the irishman.

Orient goes in, and smiles at Uriel, although the smile is forced, because he has bad news. "I thought I'd find you here." he says gently, going to sit beside Uriel on the bed.

He blinks, a little surprised at that, since he hadn't been spending that much time in Orient's room anymore (although, earlier that day he resolved to do so, at least until he leaves), "Really?"

Orient nods. "And i was hoping you would be here. The ship isn't safe for you anymore." he admits.

Now Uriel's eyes go wide, and he's very confused, "Wh... what do you mean?"

Despite generally being overly concerned with these things, Uriel doesn't quite believe Orient at first, "If he was, he'd have had plenty of chance before now to do something. he's been sleeping in the bunk next to mine."

"He told me he was watching you. And that you were like, a purple or something, and that you got your powers from demons." Orient replies. "I told him he was a liar."
