"Thank you. And, I never lie, sir." Kyo has to resist the urge to add something like 'my liege' to the end of that, settling for the respectful but not royal sir. They move away from where the men are, to continue their little chat, and switch to their native tongue so as not to be overheard.

Kyo blinks, as he had not been expecting such an admission, "Really, it was my fault. I should have..." Kyo then remembers that the other hadn't liked him mentioning his heritage before, so he omits that part, "Paid more attention, and then I would have noticed your... situation."

He'd wanted to say he should have thought about it more, and realized the kind of situation he must be in, but he didn't want to get himself in more trouble.

"I know you fancy him... but I'm afraid even you can't order me around on this point. The lad's safety is entirely up to him. I can't just let a Purple roam free, if he's a threat at all." Kyo replies. As important as the Prince was, his duties came from higher up in the scheme of things.

This is very much news to him. He shakes his head a bit... he has no idea what the boy;s playing at, but he won't let the Prince get hurt by him. It must be some kind of plan... "It's him y'should be wary of sir. Purples... aren't known for saving lifes..."

"You don't understand. Purples... are those that got their powers through demonic channels." Kyo insists, trying to get Orient to understand the danger he's in.

Kyo sighs some, "So. You aren't strong enough to See... He is a Purple. I'll admit, he's certainly unusual... but some of them enjoy being sneaky and devious rather than overt."

"To your knowledge, does anyone in your family have the powers?"

Kyo nods, "Makes sense why you barely have then. Inherited. I bet... you almost never feel cold, right? That's a mark of a Blue. It's very faint though... and your crest, it only works because of Blue power."
