  I've recently got into an argument with somebody on how I was not role-playing fairly. Apparently, I'm not allowed to block and/or counter hits on the grounds that the other player leaves themselves open to be logically countered and/or blocked. I have to take dives and allow myself to be hit.

Well not everybody is flawless, sometimes you do small mistakes that can be utilized by an opponent so they manage to hit you.

Which I understand. Another role-player in the same thread was doing so to me.
But what one other person was saying was that I had to take dives and purposely take hits because it made things "more fun".
