Kaji looked down at the wolf and nodded slightly. "Humans take the trees to make wood for their houses and kill the boars for meat. I don't understand why they just don't trade with other villiges for those resources. It didn't take us long to get here from our village, so what stops them from trading?" He shook his head to get rid of the throbbing in his head, but it only made it worse. He groaned a bit as he put a hand to his head and looked back up at the wolves, then at the boars.

Kuro had remained quiet the entire time, looking over several samples of food before making a plate.
"So, you want to go after them before they come after this village? It might be easier to wait and set a trap. They will be more careful coming to this place again, but that carefulness will be their downfall. But, I would like to hear your plan before I make such a decision." He spoke politely before filling his mouth with as much food as it could hold.

Walk into the unknown..wasn't that how life was..? Haka stands up slowly..inwardly wishing that her Clan's ability was something..else. Her Doujutsu didn't have any of the benefits of the Byakugan or the Sharingan..no, she had to be born into the family that could make people cry with their power. Bitterly, which is odd for her, she thinks to herself that despite it all, she'd rather be saddled with a destiny of power that would kill her young than an ability that makes people remember their most painful feelings. Regardless, Haka stands..and walks slowly towards the door..she may be scared, but be damned if she's going to let the males take the lead..like it or not, afraid of them and the unknown or not..she is a Gakkuri..and she can't bloom in the dark.

Hinata-sama ~*~Beach:Nadia~*~ ::the creature blinked and then lunged at her. The eyes belonged to a large cat like creature, its fur black as midnight at first glance. This time it missed her, as did the one that leaped at Ran. Obviously their intent with the first pass was not to hit. But what about the second that they were both preparing to make?:: " KYAAAAAA!" Miraji screams crossing her arms over her face as she falls with a soft thud onto the grass. She locks her gaze with the cat's and scrambles to her feet. She pulls three shuriken from her weapon pouch and throws them at the cat. " Get away!" Ran easily flips mid-air, turning to face the creature. He growls and sets his body into another lunging stance when his ear twitches towards a loud, high-pitched scream. He huffs, before he attempts to run towards the source of the scream. (OOC: Ack. So SO sorry with the inactivity. I'll try to make up for it. ^^)

"It would take more effort for the people in the village to trade. That's probably what drove them to using the closer resources. But using trade as the only source of supplies has it's own drawbacks. If trade routes are cut off, then the village would be forced to revert back to hunting the boars and cutting down trees." The whole thing seemed like a loose loose situation. He was thinking about it too deeply. There had to be an obvious solution right there, under his nose. Finally, he got an idea. "When the village hunts for boars and used the trees for building, do they take more than they need, or only what is absolutely necessary?" He was no longer talking to only the single boar, but both tribes.

We have waited for them before, but now it is our time to go for them. They won't expect it, not since they think that they have damaged our forces. We have let the rumor spread that we are not doing as well as we really are. They will not expect an attack at their base.
It won't be a full frontal, that would be suicide. But a sneak attack should be more effective. We shall use dusk as our cover.

There are no other villages around here for several days journey. This place was wilderness before these human arrived. No one lived her save the clans. And it is not that they took things, but they took in excess without replacement.

Ah, well....since you happen to be my last one, why don't you take point?

Like Kuro, Sarume piled plenty of food onto her plate. The trip through the desert tired her out, and a small nap helped, but wasn't quite enough. She drank plenty of water, as well.
"So does that mean that we are actaully atacking their camp, or luring them into a trap or ambush that we set up?"
One was much more efficient thatn the other, and would result in fewer losses, even if both of them would work.

Maizen rose from his chair and bowed respectfully towards Buki. He quickly brushed back a lock of green-tinted bang behind his ear and stepped out from behind the long desk.
Unnecessarily, Maizen waited for Haka to pass before following behind at a shy distance. Likewise, he stopped so when Buki spoke up again, and swiveled to glance at the other boy. Oddly, there was a slight creak to this motion that didn't resemble bad joints.

Kaji blinked slightly as he said, "You mean, all they have to do is plant seeds for new trees to grow...Why didn't you ask them to do that in the firest palce, or you have and they haven't listened." He rested his head on his hand as he planted his elbow on his knee.

Hinata-sama ~*~Beach:Nadia~*~ ::the creature waited, muscles tense, but apparently not about to attack an opponent that was lying prone. The other, however, took off at a run after ran, staying just off his heels as he made his way back to Miraji:: Miraji gets to her feet, holding her kunai up in a defensive stance. Okay, Miraji. Calm down and think for a minute. There's no way I could fight a cat that big head on. Bunshin? No, if Ran can sniff 'em out, this cat probably could, too. Henge or kawarimi? Hmmm... Her vision focuses as she briefly breaks her thoughts. The cat's calculating stare sends a shiver down her spine. Hey! A lightbulb lights up above her head. Why hasn't this thing attacked yet? Doesn't it want to eat me? A white blur breaks her from her thought process once again, as it lunges at the cat's back with jaws wide open, going for the throat. " Ran!" ((Introducing, Miraji's thoughts appearing in italics for the first time ever. ^^ Hehe.))

No, a full frontal would not do well, we don't have that much man power. However, we have enough to at least pose a threat and hopefully draw them outside

::the wolf shook his head::
Planting trees is one thing. But the ones who started this had no respect for the balance of things. Here, there are spirits in the trees that they killed when they took the trees. We wolves beleive that this younger humans would be willing to make amends with the spirits and the balance, but the boars seem to think that they will be just like their elders.

"Neutral ground." Kuro wiped his mouth with a stray napkin.
"I have already made plans... for a trap. The best location is somewhere they will not be on their guard, but not have an advantage." Kuro had spent the time he wasn't eating to calculate how to use the plants he was given. The amount of chakra he needed for the trap was the only problem. All he would need was...
"Sarume-san, what is your flashiest jutsu? Something that can gain attention."

"The grass-nin has a point. I don't mind marching into the pits of Hell themselves, but I'd like to know why I'm doing it."

Silly mutt, always jumping into battle teeth first. He's just like his late partner. A grin forms from the thought. Hmmm...now what to do? She taps her kunai on her chin. Ran is crouched, ready to pounce at Miraji's command or at the moment when the cats strike. Internally, he is sulking from Miraji's harsh command to stop earlier.

"Well, creating a thick mist out here would not only provide cover for us, it also doesn't take that much chakra. Not that flashy, but out here in the desert, it isn't every day that you see a thick fog bank. They would venture in to explore while the rest of you sneak around." She had a few other skills of her own to pick off some of the raiders while the rest of the soldiers, Jin, and Kuro went about their plan.
