Mistu and gang, Kasiya and I have been talking a bit about the Gym Leader profiles. We pretty much both agree to get rid of the levels for them. Like Kasiya told me. "No one is going to challenge a Gym Leader if they are obviously weaker."

Personally, I don't even think profiles for them are necessary. I mean, just list who's playing who, maybe spoils of battle and whatnot, but each leader will be flexible and have a nice repetoire of Pokemon of that type at their disposal. Besides, giving them levels (and some of them are almost stupidly too high) means it'll be practically impossible (for any new characters, especially) to even think about thinking of challenging them anytime soon.
Each time I've played as Surge, I've adjusted the levels to be roughly (perhaps slightly higher) that the challenger, mainly because leaders ARE tougher, but not insanely so. And we've all played through many versions many times, and we know each leader gets significantly tougher.
Just my 2 cents....

I have to agree with Anya there. Maybe we could give them Mini profiles, specially made for gym leaders? Like, include the picture, badge given, money, etc. Personality and Bio. But maybe we should just give each leader something like 10 pokemon, and depending on battle, choose however many pokemon to battle? (may not make sense xD) But it's just an out of there idea. ^^
