D fell down today and hit his head. We thought he was going to cry because he hit his head pretty hard. He didn't. He rolled over and said 'uh oh'. So, I gave him the belly rub he wanted and he got up and toddled away. xd

We decided that if we have a boy, it will be named after me, Markus Alexander Asada, and for a girl, after Maddi's sister who dies when she was one, Molly. We can't remember her middle name, and incase we can't remember it after a while, what middle name would you suggest for the name Molly? Preferably one that starts with an A, but you never know, so you can suggest anything. Ann is what we're mostly considering. Just thought I'd get some suggestions.

Feel better Luna! My cousin is called Molly Rhianna, Mark, and congrats!
Hi everyone, I am so sorry to have been so absent sad But my life is just so damn busy at the moment. I got yelled at all day yesterday, and some of today, because work did restaffing and fired a bunch of people. The reason behind it (the short version) is that with new government policy for universities, we are expecting an 80% shortfall next year, so we had to pre-empt and present people with redundancy notices. But, of course, they blame the nearest people- which is us. So, I got sworn at, screamed at inches from my face, had people crying.. it was bloody awful! xd Plus uni has been full on, and the wedding is only two months away. So tonight I thought, bugger it, I'll jump on and post around a bit to say hi, and so you know I'm not dead. Hi to all the new people, and especially any new babies who've arrived! heart rei

We're baby-sitting four kids this Saturday from 12:00 PM to 9:30 PM. And boy, are we in for it.
Mikey is 10. He once shot a rat with a slingshot. He'll wrestle you if you even mention fighting. He's a kick-back kind of boy and needs to win or he'll keep fighting. We're nick-naming him Slugger.
Alyssa is 7. She's (no offense) a cry-baby. She'll cry if you call her a name, if you fight, if you raise your voice, if she doesn't win, if she trips and falls on her hands and knees whether she's inside or outside, basically about anything. Her favorite color is blue, so her nick-name by us is Blue Tears.
Lance is 5. He barely says a word. If he talks at all, he's quiet, and there's not much more than two or three words in his sentance, if he can't shake his head or nod as an answer. But even though he's quiet as a mouse, he's so hyper, it's like a puppy. So we'll call him Pet Rock.
Abby is 3. She still wears diapers. She'll basically just follow everyone around and go with the flow. She screams when someone screams, laughs when someone laughs, cries when someone cries (but not with Alyssa all of the time, I think she's used to Alyssa's crying) and pretty much a clone of her older siblings. We were going to call her Dumpy, hence the diapers, but we liked Clone better.
I just love kids, especially these kids, They're our neighbor's kids from a few houses down. Maddi called her cousin to see if she wanted to come over as well, because not only are her and her cousin real close, but we'll need the help. These kids are so CUTE, they have the same face, same green eyes, and same blonde-brown hair, well, the boys have each others flattish long hair, and the girls have each others straight hair down to their shoulders, but yea. I can't wait, and I also can't stop wondering what we got ourselves into, hehe. 3nodding

Hey guys, sorry for being absent so long. However, I do have a good excuse.
I have finished up my thesis. I just have to have one more signature and then turn it into the Gradute College. Unfortunately, I have been searching for the one person who I need the signature from for a few days and it is due by Monday or I have to pay for a couple more research hours in the Fall, because Monday is the deadline for being a summer graduate. Arg! I hope it all works out ok.
Also, I have landed a job as well. I'm going to be teaching two sections of Anatomy & Physiology and another section of Biology. Also, I have a small college talking to me about adjunct teaching. I'll find out on Monday if that's a good possibility.
Unfortunately, I know that I'm pretty much going to be a busy boy from here on out, but I just wanted to share with the guild as I know that several of you knew this was coming up for me. Funny. I wanted to be a teacher so I had the opportunity to be a more active parent and now I'll be really busy for the next couple of years. Hopefully I can find a way to include Boo in stuff so he/she can "help" Daddy. I know that it will be a lot easier on me being an active parent here once I get past this first year.

Wow Tet you certainly have a lot going on, but I wish you the best for you and Boo! heart
I'm not sure about the nicknames, they seem a little negative, IMO. My son happens to be 3 and still not potty trained and if someone nicknamed him Dumpy, I'd be pretty pissed, especially nicknames poking at their negative traits.
