Hakaru nestled down t sleep next to his wife. In peace this time.
Natalia smiled and cuddled with him, happy to have him home. "I love you too."
Yumi looked over to see her dad and she gasped some. "D-DAD! I thought I told you to knock when I'm in my room! I'm telling Mom about this!!" she said, once again using her anger as a shield for her embarrassment.

It wasn't long before Yuke had fallen asleep, still exhausted from the trip.
Demetri crossed his arms and nodded towards Razz. "And do you think your mother's going to believe me or you when we both have rather conflicting stories on what you two were doing in here?" he challenged. "So. What's going on?"
Elsewhere in the castle, Kaya was sitting outside. Since a couple of the teachers had disappeared that morning for something, Jethrow had canceled classes across the board. So, the magical creatures teacher was out in the gardens. Jethrow had set up a walled-off area just for her to let her animals out in, so they couldn't disturb the students. Just in case. The full grown mother cheetah was sitting in the shade, watching her cubs wrestle on the ground before her. Opposite from the cubs were a few pups of a wild dog, torturing their father while Kaya pet the head of their mother.

Yumi stuttered a bit as her father retorted her threat. She snuffed and glanced away. "We were just talking Dad. Nothing you need to have a heart attack about."
Luke was wandering around the gardens, his nose buried in a book. He had no students to teach since a few of his family had to leave for some odd reason. So that left him with nothing to do.

Razz sighed some. He knew they hadn't been doing anything reproachable. Eating, homework, talking. What could anybody say?
Demetri frowned a little, tilting his head. "Fine. But door stays open. And I'll bet that your mother will be here later. I'll see if I can cover for you," he said with a wink at his daughter. He left, a smirk on his face before he returned to his room, sitting on the edge of the bed and looking down at Lunora, wishing he was still sleeping.
Kaya watched as the cubs wrestled some more. Soon enough, the pups abandoned their father for playing with the cheetahs. However, though the larger adults were all calm, one of the cubs ran to the back of the wall, then took a running start. Kaya watched with a raised eyebrow, before the cub suddenly launched itself off of one of its siblings and flung itself over the wall, yowling in surprise as it skidded over the stone and barreled into Luke.

Yumi sighed as her father left. Man this was going to be fun...
Luke felt something hit his legs, making him stumble a bit. He looked down to see a small cub at his feet. "Well hello there, little one. I take it someone got adventurous?" he asked the cub with a smile. He changed into his wolf form, knowing it wouldn't panic the cub if it was another animal picking it up, instead of a human. She he gently took the cub in his teeth and carried it back to the wall and jumped over, landing in Kaya's private pen.

Kaya had just been on her way to rush out of the little garden, when a wolf leapt over the wall, the cub, Lily, in his mouth. She sighed in relief and went over to the wolf, kneeling down and taking Lily from his grasp, releasing the cub after checking her over. The cub dashed off to her siblings, immediately getting into another wrestling match. "Thank you," she said softly to the wolf, scratching its ears.

Luke let Kaya take the cub, watching it go play before he felt his ears being scratched. It'd been forever since someone had scratched his ears! His large bushy tail began to thump on the ground, his leg kicking softly. Man, how he realized he missed this kind of attention.

Kaya smiled a little as the strange wolf began to act more like a dog than a wild animal. She continued to pet him, sitting herself down in the dusty ground to pet the wolf. "And who are you?" she asked the creature with a laugh.

Luke murred softly as Kaya sat down and continued to pet him. He barely even heard her question as he laid down and rolled onto his side, partially onto his back. He wanted to milk this for a while.

Kaya chuckled at the wolf's behavior, and she reached across his side to rub his belly, which was partially exposed, a sign of trust from animals. The wolf certainly didn't act wild, which made her wonder if he was a companion of one of the teachers. She knew students weren't permitted to have pets, unless needed.

The wolf murred more, his tail wagging more as his belly was rubbed. Now this was the life, if Luke could have it. Relaxation with a kind person, willing to scratch and rub his belly. But she probably wouldn't want to know it was Luke. The same person she danced with over the holidays.

Of course, a peaceful moment in the zoo that was Kaya's life wasn't very probable. Soon, four cheetah cubs and three dog pups tackled the teacher, yipping and mewling at her about her neglecting them, and successfully burying the wolf and her in an avalanche of fur.

Luke was almost in a state of bliss until the wave of fur came and squashed him. He whined some before looking to all the cubs and pups. He was used to his sister flopping on his wolf form when she was jsut a child. So this was actually nothing.

While two of the pups amused themselves with chasing Luke's tail between them, one of the cubs climbed up Kaya's back and chewed on the end of her long, black braid, pulling the leather band out of it and running off, the useful piece of leather in its mouth. Another cub yawned cutely and crawled into Kaya's lap, going right to sleep. The remaining pup and cubs wrestled near Kaya and Luke, occasionally bumping into one of them. Kaya resumed petting Luke, scratching his silky fur on his head, and rubbing his belly alternately.

Luke went back to relaxing under Kaya's affection as he let the pups be amused by his tail. The wolf grunted when some of the wrestling young bumped into him, but he still took it oh so well. If he could handle Lunora as a child, then these guys were no problem.
[OOC:] I have a sudden temptation to unleash that on Demi.
