{Kyle : Hawaii : Beach
"No, I said it would be nice if it could be civil, but I doubt that that would realistically happen. And, I mean, you could try to shoot him in the head, but after saying that the intention is there, do you really think he wouldn't be able to put up some sort of counterattack? Sure, he admits that he'd lose against all of us alone, but he could definitely drag quite a few of us halfway to hell on the way. He is, after all, rather strong." He said, paying them his full attention now.
Tilting his head a little, he watched Ajora for a moment before speaking up again. "So what are you up to? Not what you're here to do, but overall. What are your plans? You wanted information on us and we could always use more information on your plans. I'd like to guess that you don't seem all that worried about being attacked because you could just step through a portal or something."
"As for Azrael...he attacked because he got some water dumped on him. If a battle broke out, he'd probably have to move and he doesn't seem to want that at the moment. Hell, he might attack us just because we were being too loud trying to kill you." He finished, glancing over at the other replica, wondering what his reaction to a battle would be.

[Amy : Beach : Hawaii]
Amy scoffed and, on cue, looked over at Azrael.
"Fine," Amy immediately replied, "I'm not one to hold onto double standards. We can kill both of you." So much for Amy's good guy mentality; although, in all reality, she wasn't made of 'tough enough' stuff to commit an act that cold. Sure she'd immediately deny it, but Ajora was absolutely right– they were the good guys.
She'd shoot him in the knee.
Kyle's logic kept her from pursuing that course. Starting a fight with replicas wasn't a decision she had the right to make. Anyone and everyone could get hurt by it, and she could only speak for herself. But pain? She was willing, so long as the group received the respect from the replicas. If they respected that they couldn't simply walk in and take what they wanted, then they wouldn't do it with such confidence.

[Joe: Black Pearl: Below Deck]
Joe hadn't moved from his spot. Leaning against the wall, eye closed and arms crossed, with one leg bent slightly so the toe was touching the ground. He hadn't moved, made no intention of moving, and was slightly frowning out of impatience. He planned to dive into the water as soon as they were there, as everyone should've known.
Of course, it shouldn't take Kyle long for him to find Joe, and he'd get a grunt in greeting. Joe wasn't quite in the mood for talking.
[Azrael: Hawaii: Beach]
The replica's ears twitched. Not only were they all being loud, but now talking about him? Great. Now he had to get up.
Getting up and hopping onto one of the rocks, the male sat on it and leaned back, legs out like he was striking a modeling pose for a photo, chest facing the sun. "Look, I get it. You guys hate us, blah blah blah. But you would think people wouldn't be stupid enough to blurt out their plans."
His eyes shifted behind his sunglasses, but without his body moving. Perhaps the target of his gaze, Amy, would feel the weight of it on her. "Aim that gun at my head again, and I'll make sure that I tear you to meaty ribbons and that you're conscious for at least most of it. Just a by the by."

[ Ajora : Beach : Hawaii ]
"Now now, there's no need for any of that," Ajora said, waving his hands in front of him as if to proclaim innocence. The Cheshire grin on his face, however, made it quite clear that nervousness was the last emotion he was feeling. "Honestly, after a hard night's work, I'd just like to relax, ya know? Really, I'm just here to lounge and pick up some metaphorical digits. Honest to whatever foul gods decided to blast your world to shreds!"
At that, Ajora chuckled, though it seemed to hold a bit more weight than anything else he'd said; it was slow, deliberately under his breath instead of out-loud, as if he didn't particular like it anyway.
"How about we play tit-for-tat, hmm? Oooo, no, wait, I like Two Lies and a Truth better!" he said, sounding relatively excited at the prospect. "I'm gonna go scour the village for a frisbee or something fun. You guys figure out what you wanna do, I'll be back in a sec."
There was barely a moment to respond before Ajora knelt down and rocketed into the sky again, kicking a sand cloud up, but this time not large enough to get on Nicholas. His trajectory showed that he would land in the village center.

[Alan :: Hawaii - Beach]
As soon as Ajora was out of sight, Alan sat down on the sand, his expression grim and his mind racing. "I think Jon's still in the village," he told the others through the charm. "I'm going to contact him."
Then, to Jon: "Hey, it looks like Ajora's en route to the village center. Could you please keep an eye on him?"
That out of the way, he moved on to considering the possibilities. Ajora was good - that was certain. Beating him at mind games would be tough, but probably not impossible. His cockiness was almost certainly an act - he had shown more skill and care in crafting his words than one would who was as carefree as he wished to appear. The idea that he was trying to get information about the earthlings was a joke - one thing Alan was certain of was that the forces of Darkness were operating from the position of knowledge (and therefore strength) in this struggle. The earthlings had much more to learn from him than he did from them, especially from conversation. And, he had to know that. This meant that either he was telling the truth about coming mainly to relax (doubtful, but maybe), or that Ajora intended to do something.
What that something might be terrified Alan.
If he really was here to talk, though, there was so much to be learned. . . . and guileful as Ajora was, Alan thought he might be able to out-guile him. He already had a few ideas in mind.
Which brought him to the possibilities at hand.
"The way I see it," he said to everyone through the charms. "pragmatically speaking, we could either declare hostility and force them to leave . . . basically, fight them - or we could go along with Ajora's whole chumming it up shtick. I don't mean a sneak attack, obviously. I mean, like, declare our intentions and give them a chance to leave. By doing this, we'd lose the chance to potentially gain valuable information from the Replicas - like, for example, what their goals are. On the other hand, I don't quite buy that Ajora came here to relax and talk. If we go along with this, we might open ourselves up to whatever underhanded move he has in mind. Hence, the 'shooing them away' option. Thoughts, people?"
It was absolutely amazing how not relaxing this trip to the beach was turning out to be.

Sayrike::The Black Pearl::Crow's Nest Jacob's easy smile elicited her own grin as she glanced over at him from the corner of her eyes, head leaned back against the center pole, barely turning. She laughed lightly, his open and honest nature erasing much of the initial awkward tension she held (since it was always hard starting up conversations with people you didn't know very well). "Well, yeah, of course. Although for me, it's not so much as flying, but rather...it's exciting. That sense of vertigo as you look down onto the sights below, your heart thumping uncertainly as your head feels one thing and your gut feels another." She chuckled. "Or maybe I'm just an adrenaline junkie, who knows?" Sayrike looked over at Jacob, fully this time, and was caught by his intensely blue eyes. It wasn't just the color of them that caught her off-guard, but the way that he looked at her, as if he were concentrating only on her verbal response. A half-grin crept up her face, partially in embarrassment at being so intently waited upon, but also because it was nice to find someone else who enjoyed living in the moment. "Although, if you want to fly, I've got that jacked up solar surfer I want to rebuild. If you're interested, you can help. Or..." an idea struck Sayrike. "I've got something we can use, if you don't mind going on a magic carpet ride. Of sorts."

[Amy : Hawaii : Beach]
Amy didn't acknowledge that Azrael had spoken to her, and appeared entirely unperturbed by his threat.
Amy remained silent a moment before communicating over her charm. "I don't see why we'd let him gather information about us. He's acting like the acquisition of it is inevitable, and there's nothing we can do about it. I say we prove him wrong, and chase both of them off."
She didn't address the possibility of finding out what their goals might be; useful as that information might be, she had already made up her mind about wanting them gone– both of them, now that Azrael had proved his willingness to get involved. She didn't "voice" any thoughts of getting information from them, not for the moment at least. It was rude to blurt out everything one was thinking, not to mention overwhelming and anti-productive. Besides, what she had "voiced" was the conclusion of her thoughts, anyway.

[ Riku : Hawaii : Beach ]
"As much as I dislike them, I think you're being a bit impulsive, Amy."
It had been awhile since Riku had spoken up. In fact, it had been awhile since he'd even made himself known. Out of instinct, the teen had hidden in the shadows of nearby palm trees, keeping close by and watching, but not actually imposing on the situation. His Keyblade had been dispelled, and he leaned against a tall palm, arms crossed.
"Before we jump into something, let's think this through. We know Azrael has his gargoyle-friend, as well as dozens of snake-like... I dunno, they're not Heartless, I don't know what they are. But we know that they can hide under the sand, and there's a few dozen- large enough to combine into a giant cobra. If Azrael can do that, why can't Ajora?"
"Even ignoring that, Ajora has admitted that all of us against him alone, he would be defeated. The fact that he admits that makes this situation way more dangerous than I'd hoped. Why would he jump into a den of enemies that could end him? Why would he risk defeat? Because he has a back-up plan. Why else do you think he said he was going to get the information 'one way or another'?"
Riku audibly sighed somewhat, though it was more out of frustrated defeat than annoyance; he massaged the bridge of his nose with a gloved hand.
"Ajora knows something we don't, and it's made him comfortable in the middle of a small, hostile army. Do you really want to start something not knowing what that is?"

[Alan :: Hawaii - Beach]
"Riku has a point," Alan said. "Well, at the very least, declaring hostility would force him to show his hand. Or leave. One of the two."
He leaned back, propping himself with his shoulders, and closed his eyes. To a casual observer, the position provided a reasonable facade of relaxation. "Anyway, the idea that he's here for information seems . . . dubious. What on Earth - - - sorry. What could we possibly know that he needs to? It seems more likely he's trying to get close in order to do something nasty. Eugh. Both of our options are bad."
For a second, Alan was silent. "There's gotta be a third way. . . there always is. We just have to think . . ."
So he thought.
Riku was right, of course. Fighting Ajora wasn't an option, really. Letting him hang around wasn't, either. Given that Ajora was operating from the position of strength, and given that he was clearly crafty, his plan (whatever it was) would probably be flawless at least on its face.
Assuming the Earthlings acted predictably . . .
"Does he expect us to fight? Or to tolerate him? Either way, he probably expects us to stay. We could leave. Bu~t, what if he drags the villagers into this? We can't afford to not be there in that case. Maybe we should head for the forest? At least that way we're nearby if something comes up."
Even in his head, Alan's ideas sounded pathetic.
"Geee~h! We need more information!"

[Amy : Hawaii : Beach]
Amy bit her lip and let her gaze wander off to the ocean.
"I really want to shoot him," she admitted, and silently admitted to herself that she hadn't taken into consideration that Azrael had his pet snakes, and whoever that other guy was. Ajora didn't appear to have allies, but who was saying he didn't? Was Azrael really on the beach relaxing, or was he planted here for just this situation?
"I guess more information couldn't hurt... but, gah! do we just... I don't know. Talk to him? Just like that? Should we be in our Ranger suits with our defenses up, or just keep an eye out with our 'shields down' as Star Trek would put it."
Other than Kyle, Alan, Riku, and herself, the others were being fairly quiet about the whole situation.

{Hawaii .:. Beach} Bobbi sat with Kyle as he built his sandcastle, studiously ignoring Ajora and concentrating only on the sand, the sun on her back, the sound of the waves, and the emotional atmosphere of her friends around her. Yeah, there was a lot of tension because of the Replica, but other than that, there was plenty of positive emotion just by being around each other. As Kyle joined the conversation at hand, Bobbi watched part of his castle collapse. She sent a trickle of ice energy into the sand, helping to solidify the weaker parts of the structure with the chill. Sure, it wasn't practical in the long run, but it was pretty, the way the sunlight sparkled off the ice and sand together. And then people started talking in her head. She listened, going into a kind of half-trance as she let her ice magic help Kyle construct a sandcastle while simultaneously paying attention to and registering what people were saying, and forming her own opinions and observations on the matter. She shuddered at mention of the snakes, but stubbornly forced the phobia back under it's rock. " I agree with Amy," she sent over the charms. " Let's shoot 'im. No, seriously, though. The last thing we want to do is to let our guards down around him. Yeah, there is probably something we can learn from him, for sure. But the chances of getting anything out of him? Unless he pontificates like every other villain in existence when he feels he has the upper hand, we're not likely to get much, and even then we'd only be able to get away with it if we managed to turn the tables. Or get a Great Dane named Scooby Doo, then we can be 'you meddling kids and that dog.' But I don't see that happening." Demyx looked around at the kids after Ajora left, noting the horrendously sombre mood the beach had taken on. All around him were good kids ready to beat up one person because he was "evil." That seemed kind of... typical, really. Like being back in the Organization again, only reversed. The irony was not lost on him.
Of course, he couldn't hear a word of the conversations being had over the charms. He knew something was going on, the kids tended to have a look of minute concentration on their faces, which wasn't just from the tension left behind by the Replica. Riku had it, too.
With a gusty sigh, Dem summoned his Sitar and headed to an area kind of away from the kids, but still on the beach. Somewhere with shade. He made himself comfortable and idly strummed his fingers over the Sitar strings, letting his memories play the melodies for him. If nothing else, maybe the music could help the kids relax and have fun.
"Stop it with the fighting, you brats," he muttered under his breath. "Not like anything good ever came out of it."

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Below Deck]
As Kyle awaited Kyla's response, he passed a door, hearing Noelle and Prote talking. He was tempted to go in, or at least eavesdrop, but figured it could wait. Continuing down the hall, he found Joe in... well, relatively the same spot he'd left him. Kyle frowned.
"Heya. Uh," he began, scratching the back of his head and taking the moment to play with his hair. He took a long look at the eye patch, his face becoming somber. "I take it they couldn't heal that... how's your other eye?"

Joe lifted his head and opened said good eye to look at Kyle, blinking lazily. Well, it was nice to see a bit of concern, but the male also didn't like it. He knew it was compassion, and probably a bit of guilt, but it tasted so much like pity...he wasn't useless with only one eye....
The fighter shrugged, letting out a small grunt that sounded noncommittal, almost like a 'fine'.

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Below Deck]
"Hrm," was all that came from Kyle, who noted the functioning eye with a nod. Joe's lack of speech wasn't surprising, but it wasn't a good sign, either. He needed tones to match the vibes.
"So... I think I know how the Replicas were made. I mean, specifically how Vexen managed to do it without ever seeing us," he said, though he wondered if Joe had already come to the conclusion. That would be pretty embarrassing, considering Kyle liked being the think-tank. "Or was it already obvious to everyone but me?"

Jacob ll The Black Pearl ll Crow's Nest
Jacob's tone was a lot less...aggressive...dominating. He tried to calm himself down to preserve the moment, to match the occasion better. "Well, I can understand that. That's part of why I started doing parkour...free climbing...you know...But, for as much fun as they are, I always thought that they were more about self perfection. Wait...solar surfer. You mean a solar surfer from Treasure Planet? Oh stay still, my beating heart. Wait, how do you plan to fix a piece of technology that nobody knows how it works? You got a manual? But uhhhh....yeah...I'd love a ride." Jacob smirked as he sat down, laying his head head against the safety wall as he ended his sentence. "Wait...you've got a magic carpet too? A solar surfer is one thing, but I don't want any rides on one of those screaming deathtraps..."
