"Order" is such a misleading word. For us, it usually means PIZZA PARTY WOOHOO!

Nighty night Panda~

So Dart, which one of the three are you going to go for?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 06, 2009 8:58 pm

Night Panda.

And I'm leaning towards combat. I'm just not feeling the spiritual side and magic has never been my strong suite.

XD
That's appropriate.
I suppose I thought about it, and I'd be...well, the closest thing is the spiritual side. Except I really can't bring myself to worship the overseer, even in play. D:

That's quite alright.
Of course if I was to go with combat then I have to decide what kind of combat I'll use. I'm trying to figure out the more "balanced" path to take.

It's a throwback to when I played Final Fantasy Tactics on the PS1. Everybody on my team, and I mean everybody with the exception of anybody I had made a Monk, was a chemist because magic can miss, but potions and phonix downs never do.

and something weird is going on. I'm having problems with sending messages.

Mmmm... "feeling Puckish" makes me laugh. XD

Balance is a good idea, for sure. o_O
What kind of messages can't you send?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 06, 2009 9:16 pm

Oh!
That reminds me!
Today, someone tried to Scam me! =O
I was totally psyched. It made me laugh so hard.
It's like... only the second time it's ever happened. XD

Not really balence and more of "I want to be able to keep myself alive and able to fight if everybody else is down".

And post mostly. I have to hit submit a few times, or see if I can refreash the page and it work. or just back out to the thread and hit "post a reply" again.

I see. That's...logical. And totally you.
I see. It happens.

As I said, it's a throwback to FFT. I noticed that my full time healers was always the first to go and that spells would just flat out miss right when you need them the most, especially healing spells. And so I decided to make sure everybody had chemist as a second job so they could use potions on themselves.
Of course there was a way to improve the chances of being hit by magic, but came at the price of making it easier for the enemy to use magic against you too. The opposite is true too. You can make it so that you can't be touched by any magic, but that also includes your own.

And Oooo, what kind of scam?
PostPosted: Sun Dec 06, 2009 9:34 pm

XD Wow. So... that is the result of strategy?
I have none, so I'm mildly impressed.

Oooo, well. This lady wanted to buy my coco, so she commented on my profile making a bid, which was more than reasonable.
So when she sent the trade, it looked almost right, but she had missed a 0 at the end. So I mentioned it. She canceled the trade and claimed she didn't want the coco anymore.
Since it all happened within ten minutes, I'd have to say it was rather weak.
So I mentioned it, via comment. She erased all my comments and asked someone else if she could buy their coco. Via comments.

Yep. That's a scam.

And that strategy arose from a certain aspect of that game. Once a person get's KO'd, you have three of their turns to revive them or they're gone for good. And unlike most games, there was only one real important person on your team that you had to make sure didn't die for good. Everybody else who was important couldn't be OK'd and gone for good. So basicly, you're team is made of one important guy, and a bunch of people you could collect, even just hire.
But I cared for the people on my team. I was determined to have them see everything through to the end. So when one of my guys is down and the only person avalible to revive him is a white mage with a long range revive spell and it misses and he dies, progress be damn I resetted the game and made sure they could take care of themselves before the next battle.
