Kevin moved out of the way, but still managed to get a good slash on the arm. His grip on Misty did not falter however.

His grip on Misty didn't falter, but that was a good thing for Zain. Zain's free hand moved out to catch himself on Misty's shoulder, then he used that as a focal point, continuing with some of his original inertia and trying to spin around and slice at Kevin's back. However because of his injured leg the strike didn't have as much strength as he had hoped.

Misty closed her eye when the gunshot rang, and kept them closed, to scared to see what was happening.

Toushi_girl Yuuhi kept running even though she was in a lot of pain. She ran around corners to hopefully lose Karla or at least slow her down. Someone help... She thought to herself. (Reposting)

Kevin used his free arm and jammed his elbow into Zain's stomach. He then hit Zain on the head hard with his gun.

Karla skidded across the slick wooden floor as she ran after Yuuhi, she was gaining on the girl...
Zain took the blows grudgingly, reeling back. It was a feint, he caught hold of a vase near the door and hurled it unerringly at Kevin's head while he stumbled forward once more, knife flashing at Kevin's gun arm once more. "Misty, run!"

Yuuhi kept running as fast as she could. She was getting tired and she was in pain, but she didn't want to die.

Kevin dodged the vase and then turned around to block the knife. He was going to block the knife with Misty.

Misty tried to run, but Kevin still had a hold on her. She tried to struggle, but the vampire was stronger.

Iris watched as Isaac drank the blood, she was happy that he was, but she was also wishing very much that he wouldn't. But, it was her fault that he was doing this, since it was she that told Travis to change him into a vampire instead of killing him.

As Ursel walked away, he suddenly remembered why he had gone down to the kitchen in the first place. His stomach started wracking with pain, and he doubled-over. After several moments of this, he regained himslef, and started to head back to the kitchen.

Zain spun the knife in his hand and edited the course slightly, the blade passing right over Misty's shoulder and then diving down at the arm Kevin was holding Misty with. Zain had never really cared if he lived or died, he was always just in for the ride, but one thing he hated was people like this, who took innocents and tried to kill them.
