Kero walked into the room, carrying a small bag. "I don't know where Sempai is, but we'll just carry on without him" he took from the bag a white virgin candle, lavender oil, a black and silver candle holder, and a little pouch. he dipped a finger in the oil and ran it down the candle's length. "as above," now Kero ran the finger up the candle, "so below." when he was done annointing the candle, Kero placed it in the holder, whose handle was a dragon with twisted horns. From the pouch, he poured a red powder in the shape of a pentacle, with the candle at the center. it was dried clay from a riverbed, "water and earth," he intoned. the powder was used to create two dots at different points of the stars. the match that would be used to light the candle was placed at another point. "fire." one of masayoshi's hairs, extracted form curry, "air." finally the candle was lit, and dedicated to the goddess Hecate.
"This is the final day of the Yule Sabbat." kero announced. "If everyone would be so kind as to drop a flower petal on the flame, the magical energies of the group will be strengthened in the new year."

"thanks! see, the yule commemerates the Goddess giving birth to the God, who died at Samhain(Hallowe'en) she'll return to maiden for as he matures, and then at beltane, on the vernal equinox, he'll get her pregnant again." Wrapping up his story, kero dropped a rose petal on the fire. the flame turned green briefly, and Kero continued. "showing our support durin this time means that the Goddes will reward us. I'm also wearing a dark hooded robe in honor of Hecate, the Goddess my Great- Grandmother worshipped."
