Well, I didn't feel like working on Streamjumper, so I got Shalegrey up to Merchant 6...
I might make some stuff when I get a decent blacksmith level going, but I've read a handful of guides all about making a combat monster blacksmith.

Streamjumper Well, that mule has the slightly scruffy alt/grunge look going with his hairstyle and coloring, and I just figured the sideburn/jawline fringe that beard gives would look really good. I just wish they'd make some more facial hair, maybe in different colors. If they made blond goatees, I could make Coop as a mule.

Takako no Kaori Just because some people who like DeG and other popular bands discredit the Pillows/semi-indie bands (and the Pillows are not an indie band) doesn't mean the majority of them do. Why don't you go survey every single person on earth who likes DeG and then we can make actual observations of the fanbase from that data. ^_^ Plus, X-Japan and hide (which I also love, I own the xjapan concert, best of, live etc dvds) came from a totally different era (known as the 80s) so it's really not that fair to put all the bands that came after them up to their standards just because they were first. Taka, I've seen a great deal of people not give me one reason why they discredit the pillows/semi-indie bands, they will say something along the lines of, "Well, the pillows don't play their music like Dir en Grey, Malice, what have you. So they're not J-rock, maybe J-pop." A lot of pillows fans dislike this attitude because we have to listen to people constantly state incorrect facts and we can't do anything about it. It's like trying to support Nintendo. Also, I've heard from many various sources that pillows are not really indie, but not as big as other bands, hence, semi-indie. If I would want to set any standards, it would be based off of X-Japan alone. I know they came from a different era and music was different back then, I, however, still see them as the greatest vis-kei J-rock band. I don't want to put what they did up against others like DeG, Malice, etc because, as you said, they came from a totally different era. To me, it would be like comparing Jimi Hendrix to the guitarist for Puddle of Mudd, the styles are going to be completely different, as well as other elements that make up guitar playing. I believe that no one will ever dethrone Hendrix when it comes to guitar playing, just like I believe that no one will dethrone X-Japan when it comes to vis-kei J-rock. I hope I made sense, I'm multi-tasking right now which includes writing an English essay so my mind is gone. sweatdrop It really is a matter of personal opinion, I don't like DeG for a lot of reasons, I don't like the fans for a lot of reasons. Whereas, DeG fans may not like the pillows for a ot of reasons and/or the fans for a lot of reasons.

At least the classic tunes of punk and ska are safe from her predations... Amusing, isn't it, that the "princess of punk" has never been heard doing a punk tune, eh? Yes, classic tunes of punk, ska, and rock. "Princess of punk," feh, I've yet to hear her do any punk tune. Maybe a cover, but nothing original.
