Shane-Cheshner Terara Drakon Shane-Cheshner Terara Drakon Shane-Cheshner Terara Drakon Well, if you've never tuned the bottom head you're already doing it wrong. I'm a guitarist bottom head makes no sense to me D: >.> There are two heads to a drum. The top one, which is the one you hit with a stick. And there's also one on the bottom, to help with the sound or some junk. Well, there's a lot of people out there that think you can just tune the top head and you're fine. Nah. You tune the top head first. Mute the bottom one, though, so you aren't getting confused by hearing both heads. Then you tune the bottom one the same way. And BAM you have a nice-sounding drum Ah. Makes sense. Y'know, I might go try that now. But I don't want to tune them to random notes, do I? I'd probably need to tune them so they're in tune with what I want to play. Notably Broken Bride, since I'm going to use my drumset to play that song at my brother's concert ******** YEAH. ...I'm not a drummer, but I can drum pretty damn good. Just one tip: Never tune down. EVER. If you mess up, take the head off and restart. Annoying, yes, but that's the way it's gotta go. Well, ******** that? Because it messes with the sound and it'll take forever to get it the way you want after you tune it down. You're better off starting over.

I'm rewatching all of Lost.
If ever there was so much win in a single series going on it's sixth season, Lost is it.

Is it harder to tune the higher drums or is it just me? I mean I have them tuned now, not exactly how I want, but tuned. When I have more time I'll try it again.

I'd say yeah, higher drums are harder to tune how you want them.

I have a good ear for tuning things, but I guess I'll need to improve that some more if I'm gonna be tuning drums. >_> I'm gonna go watch Dead Leaves now. I lied last time, I watched Ghost in the Shell instead.
