"It suits you very well." Maria adds, inwardly pleased with her selection.
It's not enough for Raf though, so he disappears off to find a mirror to check himself out in.

"And he says I'm vain." Aiden replies, shaking his head.

Maria shrugs, "There's nothing wrong with caring about one's appearance. But as with everything else, the trick is 'not too little, not too much."

Aiden nods. "I am learning that one. I'm a little over the top sometimes."

"Nobody's perfect... but if you're going to strive for something, I find the middle of the road is best." Maria replies. God, she likes Aiden. Rafael better hold on to him.
Rafael comes back from the washroom, feeling damn sexy indeed... although really, all his chokers made him feel like that.

For a long time now, WindDance had been visiting BrightSong, the Vale's mindhealer for a while since he returned to the vale... or more specifically, since that one time when Rayne and him got into a bit of a fight on the subject of their intimacy, or lack thereof. It was one thing to live with the burden of his past on his own, and having it hold himself back... and another altogher, having it interfere with the life of his lifebonded.
It wasn't something he'd have done on his own, seeking out the mindhealing, but it certainly did make a difference. He was keeping it on the downlow though, not telling Flower, or Rayne.... mostly so it could be a surprise for the young Bard.
Unfortunately, it meant they hadn't been spending much time together. Wind had duties to catch up on in the vale, and then was spending many of his evenings with BrightSong.

Rayne is really starting to get miffed about never seeing Wind. He spends most of his nights alone, or with Fox, and he only actually sees Winddance when the older man crawls into their bed, long after Rayne has gone to sleep.
Now not only is their lack of intimacy driving him mad, also the fact that he doesn't see his lifebonded often enough is making him crazy as well. He's about to blow up, he's so uptight about everything.

Finally, after what would turn out to be their last session, Brightsong gives Wind the all-clear, stating that the Adept needed no more help from him.
The long haired man returns home, somewhat earlier than from his normal sessions with the healer, feeling much refreshed.

Rayne is actually still awake, but he is in bed, reading instead of sleeping.

Upon entering the ekele, Wind sees a very welcome sight --one it feels like he hadn't seen in a long time -- the light is on in his bedroom. Smiling a little, he goes in and goes over to the bed, "Good evening, ashke."

Given that WindDance is his Lifebonded, Rayne finds it very difficult to stay angry with him. "You're home early." he says.

Wind shakes his head, "No. Compared to when I'll be getting from now on, I'm home late."
