Twilight Justice Fenton is a fuzzywhomper, one of Aeris's creations and Gabriel is an archangel... not a future dude. I could probably list every character I've played though Also, in terms of Xenogears and Eva, Eva is to anime what Xenogears is to games, pretty much the best of each ahh the game i always passed up in page 3 3nodding

Xenosaga was originally supposed to be a prequel to Xenogears, but the company couldn't get the copyrights from square and the original team was fired. XS one and two are average games..... Xenogears is an RPG that easily surpasses FF7

Too many arch-angels walking around for my taste. I figure if you're a servant of god then you should be doing more than just walking around. You should be out hunting those great demon lords or what ever people are now. Those half angels half demons *twitch*. The whole concept of employing religion into your character as a main background is kind of a foolish concept in my book. It's too vast, too much room for altering.
Subject A: "Oh, I'm so powerful I lead all of god's angels into battle!"
Subject B: "I am god's most powerful servant"
Subject C: "My might extends beyond god, I killed satan!"
Subject D: "I killed god himself and pissed on satan's head!"
...too much room for people to go in there and ******** around with what you are.

I end my case...
*uses his uba-god-killing weapons (which is standard for all gaians these days) and kills Haziel in the greatest feat of god-moding (which is taught to all gaians on day one) the world has ever seen (despite the fact that only three or four people will ever know of it in their entire lives so the next greatest feat the world has ever seen will happen in the next three seconds)

Well FF7 is the most highly overrated RPG which had a one dimensional antagonist. Also, FF7 wasn't really a fully 3D RPG.... Xenogears was though. Also, you say there are too many archangels walking around when really, in BC, Gabriel is the only one that plays a part. Plus there are reasons for him to do what he does. Religion's always screwed around with IRL so we choose to do it IC
