Just Naota Just Naota unclear What exactly do you do for a living? (Naota) I'm a Coroner's Assistant. Well, more of an Autopsy Tech than anything else. Ah cool.

I know I shouldn't say this, but I kindof find it a bit funny how the past few pages were people saying how much of a total rape fighting a Greater Daemon would be and absolutely nothing about how awesome of a boss fight it'd be.
Still, regardless of the situation, I think whether or not that happens depends entirely on Ebag, since it's his weapon/story.
I myself have no idea how my character's story is going to go with regards to Dzan until he actually does something.

Greater Daemons are pretty potent. You would need some sort of specific anti-Daemon weapons, and a pretty big pack of people to take one down, I think.
Lesser or normal Daemons, or a particularly weak Greater Daemon, maybe not so much. But s**t like Bloodthirsters (30+ ft tall Daemons with swords as long as four men) are kind of OP for most of Gaia.
But for a storyline, they would serve as a pretty bad-a** villain, because it would take a literal coterie of characters to take one down, especially if there were no 40k-styled characters, such as Inquisitors, Daemonhunters, etc around to help.

The point of which being... they're supposed to rape face and eat souls. But so do like half the characters on this site. It'd probably be a fun thing to have around for an event fight or whatever with a half dozen PCs fighting at once, but when the attitude shifts back to the "40k > everything" argument that we finally manged to get rid of a few years ago it becomes a problem.
Bossfite is bossfite. Doesn't mean that one badass from game world A is going to forever trump anything that could possibly exist in game worlds B-Z.

That's exactly what I mean. A boss fight. You get a party of heroes together and fight it.
Kindof like an Eliminator fight, except the point IS to win.
Now, it'd be entirely unrealistic to like...make a "25-man raid" encounter in roleplay, since that'd be a massive ******** which is only possible when you just need to worry about seeing the action and let a game system crunch the numbers for you. An RP party would be a lot smarter.
But it really really depends on context and storyline, and what looks...well...entertaining. If I can see Kratos jumping here and there and fighting with titans, then I can see one-to-three people fighting a really big demon, with the party size-to-difficulty ratio depending on the size and scale of the encounter.
I don't see why that'd be a problem, Darth. There are plenty of demon hunters, paladins and other anti-demon brica-brac all over Gaia that'd be able to help.

Well I'm off to bed. Got two interviews tomorrow and a million errands to do. -poofs-
