"You will get nothing more from me. I already told you the obvious. And if you don't kill m-" He was interupted by a sudden explosion from his back that took the tree with him, and since Sephiroth was so close, probably his arm, face, torso, etc.

Seph closed his eyes. The initial explosion wasn't what effected him, as he could simply boost his own resistance to fire by raising his body temperature. What really hurt were the bloody bits of bone and shrapnel that buried themselves in his chest, arm, and face. He dropped what remained of his corpse and coughed, spitting blood from his lips that was not his own. He sighed softly and closed his eyes.

Fenris appeared behind Sephiroth and sighed, "Well, found the culprit." She sighed softly to herself, then walked around Sephiroth and looked at the corpse, "You... mutilated him...?" She asked, then looked over at Seph, noticing he had blood on him, and plenty of sharp objects in him. She walked up to face him and took a cloth which just appeared in her hand and started wiping blood off his face, being careful of the objects.

"..It..wasn't me.." He said, still staring straight ahead. He winced a bit. "I don't know what happened. He just.. self-destructed. He did tell me he was after Syoku, though." He winced again. "..We can likely expect another attack. Probably much worse, too.."

Fenris didn't respond. "Can you get those object out of your body? I'd rather not pluck them from you one by one." She started wiping his face a bit softer, the blood unknowingly to Sephiroth, disapearing when rubbed on the cloth. She would just heal him, but then he would ask questions. Why did she suddenly come to this spot once that man died, why the cloth never seemed to get bloody, how she suddenly learned Ijutsu, and why she was here when she was obviously dead.

Clow had walked up behind him and Fen out of nowhere, yawning, with his arms behind his head.
"Besides, we have a secret weapon..."

"Secret weapon?" Fenris asked, looked back at Clow with a slight warning in her eyesas she was wondering what he was getting at. It better not be something about her.

"Not without tweezers.." He sighed softly. "Fen.." He looked up at her, then placed his hand on her's and moved it down and away from his face. "..Why are you here..? You chakra signature disappeared a few days ago. I couldn't even pick you up on Byakougan. Fen.. you died." He didn't care about the cloth, or how she knew he was here. He cared about one thing.

Fenris looked back at Sephiroth, staring at his eyes, then looking down. "I... am dead... Sephiroth..." She sighed and turned her back to both Clow and Seph, walking a few steps, then looked up at the starry night sky, "Like I said when you first asked, I can not explain why, The demon almost made me kill Reeve, so I killed myself. And by the looks from after, Reev really did a number on her." Fenris smiled slightly, then looked down sadly, "I'm sorry, I caused all this s**t to happen... Tutsumi... Reeve... I wanted to repay you, you guys always watched over me... helped me when I needed you... I wanted to do something. Heh, now look where I am. Dead, I'm just... a spirit..."

Having heard several explosions, Reeve decides, and rightly so, that the job isn't done. He returns to the forest, looking around, confused.

Seph looked at her silently and sighed. He hugged her tightly. "You don't feel very dead.." He looked back at Clow. "..Secret weapon..?"

Clow sighed and dropped his ars with his hands slipping into his pockets slowly.
"As much as you'll disagree with me. We have...the curse seals. I've reached...a new level with them. I can even control them more or less now..."
Clow then opened his eyes halfway, turning his back to all of them.
"We'll be ready...like I said."
