@Loli; Hehe. If I could send them to you I would. And oh nos for budgeting issues, I had problems last month. It was not enjoyable. And we don't have $1 markets by me, that would have saved me while I was at school had there been one! @Lone; I agree with Loli, maybe your allergic. Although my entire upstairs is warm. It's not enjoyable in the summer time.

.... Concideing all the "bug's bite" I have on my feet, I wouldkn't be surprise I'm allergic to my room <<
I read a lot xD Both highschool and in university I had a bunch of literature and philosophy classes (since that was my minor o-o). I think I've read every classic ever wrote in French, English, German and Russian (Damn you, Dostoevsky) D8
Kafka... I have a love hate relationship with him <<. I love the content but not the style? O-o.

@ Summer -- I hate unexpected big one time expenses. D= After I get my roots bleached on Tuesday, I'll be missing a good chunk of money.
I'm lucky I have a $1 supermarket nearby. =w= I wonder why it hasn't caught on in the States.
@ Lone -- Ahh, I see. That makes sense. Literature classes are great in that respect.
I read a lot when I was a kid, but once I hit high school, I ran out of motivation. Now I have trouble finishing any book that hasn't been assigned. o____o
In the past year, I've only read four or five books on my own time, mostly by Haruki Murakami. I got to read some War Era Japanese literature in my class this semester, which was nice. =w=

There's no dollar store in the states? O_o I would have thought that's where they were coming from. Hell, in my previous appartment, there was 4 different 1$ store in less than a 5minutes walk, 2 of which where in the same mall o-o.

There are dollar stores, but they don't sell food. Snacks, but not like a grocery store.

@Lone; That would really stink - being allergic to your room. ): See I had no motivation to read anything that my teacher's assigned in high school and this past year I didn't exactly do much reading. See we have $1 that are all super crap stuff. Nothing really worth even spending $1 and none close to me. I live really near a big university too.
@Loli; I had to make an emergency trip which ate almost an entire tank of gas. Which fine isn't a problem except when it costs $20 per quarter tank of gas essentially. And this money conversation just reminded me that I have to pay for my new classes soon. Well there goes another months money gone.

Ohhhh, okay, I see :O Here you can find SOME food, but not eveything. Mostly snacks, cans, instant food (Kraft Dine, Instant Ramen, Side Kicks, etc) and stuff like peanut butter.

Tuition is awful. Dx Financial aid barely makes a dent in it.
That's what I thought. The Lawson 100's here are like fully stocked supermarkets, with pretty much everything you need, and almost everything is 105 yen ($1.36). Except for rice, a 5kg bag of rice is about 1800 yen (~$23) but even that is a lot cheaper than what you'd find in a normal grocery store.
I never went to any of the dollar stores in my area back in the States. They weren't exactly nice places to shop.

At my old school, tuition was essentially the same as kicking a concrete block. It might scratch the surface some but nothing big. D: And same where I am, it's super sketch to go. ESPECIALLY when they are right next door to Wal Mart. Ohmygoodnessnodon'tgoityouwon'tevercomeback! DX

For one semester, a full-time student (someone who takes 12-17 credits) will have to pay 730,700 yen, which is $9,480 USD.
Not to mention 3,000 yen ($39) for student activities (I don't know where this goes, the student council does virtually nothing, except for throw a way-too-big, terrible party once a semester that no one goes to) and a 26,250 ($341) facilities fee. So we all have to pay almost $10,000 per semester.
I get $2500 of financial aid a semester, which definitely takes the edge off, but it's still a lot of money. Not to mention basic living expenses.

Oh, dear lord O_o. Loli, I think I just died a little inside for you .-.
The university I'm going too is about 4000$ a semester (15 credits) including all the various non-related fees, but that's only because I'm not from Quebec. If I WAS from Quebec, It would only be 1200$.
Damn Quebec and it's awefully cheep prices! Wish I was borned here instead of New-Brunswick. Their prices are much better than ours!

That's less than what I'd have to pay if I went to a school in California. o____o
I wish higher education wasn't so expensive. Dx
