Tomo perked one ear, but didn't lift his head, "I'm sure anything you bought will be fine. You seem to know how this place runs pretty well. Who are the presents for?"

"Everyone.. i had enough gold .. so I wanted to get things for everyone" She said brightly digging into the bags. She got out a few packages
"here onii san" she said brightly as she handed them to him. A couple sets of clothing

Tomo sat up reluctantly and took the packages, "These are for me?" he asked, looking all of them over, "I'm afraid they won't fit right now." He looked up at her, "Thank you, though."

"It's ok onii san" she said to him. THen looked curiously at him and smiled a bit

Tomo smiled a little, "It's wonderful, Uka. I needed the little pick-me-up... I can't wait to wear them." he added, leaning over the bar to kiss her cheek. "Thanks again."

Lily wandered in the front door, book in one hand, a fistful of papers with notes on them in the other. She glanced around the main room, doing a double-take of Tomo before smiling at both him and Ukaia. "Hello."

"Oh yeah?" Tomo asked, resting his chin on the bar again. "What kinda food 'cause I like lots." He said with an inflection in his voice that was less than enthusiastic. It wasn't Ukaia's fault. He just didn't feel cheerful right now.

Arlen came downstairs, wrapped up in a blanket from his bed. If that wasn't evidence enough that he wasn't feeling well then the constant sniffing that could be heard would make it a certainty.

He greeted, ears going limper by the second.

Lily gave Tomo a sympathetic look, then left his cheering up to Ukaia while she went to the obviously sick Arlen. "Hey... are you alright love?" she asked softly, peering up into his face. "Do you want some soup? Come on... why don't you sit..."

Lily frowned a bit, concerned for him, then set her notes down on the bar beside him. If he cared to take a glance at them, he would find that she'd discovered a way to separate the good version of Crystal from the bad. She kissed him on the forehead, then headed for the kitchen to make him some soup.

Tomo froze, completely at a loss of what to say. If there was anything he hated more than cheese, it was fish. "O-Oh..." He said, sincerely not wanting to be rude. The wine didn't sound so bad. "Thank you, Uka."
