Speaking of returns I won't be here for most of the summer. .______. I wanted so badly to be active again but the world is against it...!
My mom signed me up last minute for an SAT prep camp thing, and I have to wake up at 6 every morning so when I get home all I want to do is sleep. D< And on top of that I have tons of summer homework, including reading/annotating The Scarlett Letter which turns my brain to mush.
Call me a horrible member all you want. xL

Pshh, SAT's. The ACT's are a bajillion times better. Because they're easy. 9w9

I like The Scarlet Letter! One of Hawthorns best, IMO.

Yeah, I'm not really so fond of it myself. xD It just moves soooo slowly.
And I'm taking both. But since everyone says the ACTs are super easy, my mom's like 'we're not spending money on that!' D<

It wasn't bad. Definitely one of the better ones I've had to read for AP English Comp.
A lot of schools are moving away from the SAT's and using the ACT's. And it's good to take both. I did TERRIBLY on my SAT's, but I did really well on my ACT's. It gave me the balance I needed.

I've never understood the point of the SAT's. I never took them and got into super fabulous schools.
I loved the ACT's though. They're easy and great.
Does anyone want to have a quick r.p anywhere? Just so I can get Gwen and her boyfriend/fiance? back on track?

Well aren't you fancy, Lone?
I think California is one of the few states that still mandate SAT scores for college applications. So many of my classmates killed themselves taking it two, three, even four times, just so they could try to get a better score. (They often ended up doing worse and worse each time, because they were stressing themselves out.)
My entire senior year was spent watching my friends freak out about colleges. =w= It was kind of amusing. They were having panic attacks about their test scores, GPA's, extracurriculars, application essays, letters of recommendation, acceptance letters, which school they should go to, what major to pick, which classes to take each semester, what they should do when they graduate... Good times.

For some reason, it's so stuffy in my bedroom D8 All the rest of the apartment is somewhat cool (albeit humid), but my room? I have trouble breathing in it D8

I took the - Oh wait, right, we dont have anything like that in Canada =D Omg, you aren't kidding! I read The Scarlett Letter for a freshman project in high school. We had to write a paper in the same style. I just adore Hawthorne's style of writing so it was a snap for me. I haven't read Nietzsche in depth, but I got the general idea, haha. Kafka though...ugh, The Trial was the most daunting thing I ever had to read and it wasn't even 150 pages I don't think. /bookrant
