Athena shook her head. Jack frowned as he turned his head away. He nodded to himself as he looked back at Athena.
"Athena... a person isn't defined by what they are, but by who they are. I'll admit, I haven't known you for too long... but I know you are a good person at heart."

Jack looked at Athena as she walked off. He groaned quietly as he moved to the couch and let himself fall onto the leather. He closed his eyes and let out a quiet groan.
"I'll talk to her tomorrow," he muttered.

Jack woke up with a start. Something shocked his mind... and it wasn't good. He had a bad feeling, and the usually proved true. He grunted quietly as he rubbed his head. It was throbbing. Something was definately up. He quickly got up and headed towards the desk.
Athena,
I'm going to be out. I'll be back later.
Jack.
He then quickly moved out and headed for where ever his senses would lead him.

* * * Again, Fate awoke screaming in a cold sweat. Fumbling, she patted her trembling hands upon her damp cheeks. "A..another..dream?" She swallowed hard, feeling cotton-mouthed. Why does this keep happening? Shakily, she stood. The bat was close beside her, nudging her leg. Patting its head gently, she glanced at the clock; ' 6:47 AM'. "Bloody crazy.." Shaking her head in disbeliefe, Fate entered the living area. It would probably be safest to use the indoors laundramat.. Perching the bat on the sofa, she pocketed four dollars in coins and headed down the hall. At the end, a dim white room stood open to whomever needed it. Upon entering, she put a dollar fifty in for a wash and rinse cycle. Afterwards, she tossed the clothes inside. "Now where's the..soap, ah." A box with the word 'DOWNY' written in bold red orange letters was behind her. She scooped in two cups of the powder and closed the washer's lid. Stretching, she took a glance around the room. There was nothing special about the place. A dust bunny here and there, some baskets, and a running dryer. Fate carefully jumped ontop of the washer and sat as it jostled her clothing about. Her weary head hung lowly as she waited.

After Krii had gone, she piddled around the apatment for a while. It was awkward how much she found ehrself wanting him here with her, when before, all she had ever wanted was complete solitude. The mere thought of what had happened was enough to rbing that same stupid grin to her face that she was worn all morning, as she lounged around on the couch, still wearing a bedsheet around herself. The silence was only broken by the sound of her cell phone ringing in the other room. Groaning, she hauled herself up and sauntered into teh room, picing it up and flopping down on the bed.
"Hello?," she said, rather grudgingly. "Kerri, This is Madison! We need you to come see us. There is something you will want to see here." Quirking an eyebrow, Kerrigan looked at the clock. It was only 2pm...she couldnt possibly leave til nightfall...at least not without a lot of help. "Listen, Maddie, i would love to come right now, but i cant leave til nightfall. Something....happened to me." She could hear the confused silence on the toehr side of the line, but she didnt feel like going into it. She was in too good a mood to start dwellig on the subject of ehr new self. "Ill be there as soon as i can." Not really waiting for an answer, she simply snapped the phone shut and tossed it onto the night stand. Letting the bedhseet fall to the ground, she walked over ot the wardrobbe and flung it open, rummaging through it for a second.
Finally, it seemed that she found what she was looking for. Pulling on a tight fitting long sleeve black shirt, she put a red one over it with a swirling black pattern on the right side, and then donned a pair of low cut blue jeans. Slipping some blakc sneakers on she pulled ehr hair up into a messy bun, grabbing her belt nd holsters and securing them around her waist loosely. So it as hte middle of summer...oh well. A coat would have to be worn, or else she would have to ge there without being seen. What did they want anyways? Her thoughts had started to consume her as she stood in front of the mirror looking at herself. She ahd certainly changed since she had first gotten here, that was for sure.
