Hmm... I feel like the update could have been more interesting.
I don't think anyone really uses the hookshot thing much, since it's more reliable to use your recovery. After shooting it out, it counts as a recovery move. If you miss, you're dead.

Actually as Samus I often use the Grappling beam to avoid being edge gaurded none the less Links variation is useful if you are to far below the edge on stages or if you just wanna avoid the occaisonal gaurd attempt, but if you can the normal recoveries can and will work

I'm awful with that hookshot. My siblings and I used to have hookshotting contests where we could take turns jumping off and trying to hookshot the ledge, and seeing who survived longest.

Well with Samus it is considerably less dangerous because she has the Bomb jumps to lower her to a near perfect height and her grapple beam is a bit longer than the Hookshot and a lot longer than Y.Links, And Links recovery has him slashing like a madman so even if you have a little extra distance then you wanted going into the vortex is still a bit annoying, Samus's Screw attack is a small radius (though easy to time as well) (too many stats to ssbm.... its almost like Baseball xd )

Whatever. It's nice to see that ZSS (Zero Suit Samus, abbreviated for laziness) can do that trick, but I was hoping for something that we didn't really know about already.
I'd like to see the Pokemon trainer's special moves, or final smash, or maybe a new stage. Friday's update is going to have to be really good to make up for the lack of awesomeness today. whee

Heh, it'd be awesome if Yoshi could recover from a fall using his tongue.

Radio Jas Heh, it'd be awesome if Yoshi could recover from a fall using his tongue. You know what....that's actually a brilliant idea. His recovery kinda sucks normally, so that'd help out a lot. xd

Radio Jas Heh, it'd be awesome if Yoshi could recover from a fall using his tongue. That would be awesome AND gross. Edit, as my post was the last one: I really think Viewtiful Joe could just completely replace Captain Falcon in this game. He's more iconic, and actually has moves. His moves seem like they would mimic Captain Falcon's, too. Slow, powerful punches, and also speedy, red hot attacks. I really want to Henshin a go-go, in Brawl, baby. I doubt it'll happen, though, because Joe is a cel-shaded character, and it seems like they're not doing cel-shading.

Took them long enough to post Peach after the Adventure mode update. Anyways, Peach looks very very good in this game.
