"Pot things are so overrated" Alpha rolled his eyes. "Maybe we could bring some back and sell it for a large amount of money" He transformed into one of his larger forms. He produced a large fireball in his hand lighting up the entire path in front of them.
"But we want the rewards it gives us for ourselves" Seph answered shaking her head.
"Enough pot talk lets find a malboro already. And at least we will no longer need torches" Hebal encouraged them running further into the cave.

Felina shook her head squeezing Oassu's hand "I'm not scared I just don't like it. You know what happened last time I was in a dark cave because that was when we met."
Hayate sighed "Smoking that pot wouldn't be the best of ideas now would it."
Satoshi laughed at Hebal zooming off "I don't think she cares too much about all this. But we can't let her go too far otherwise we can't test her." she took a look around the cave walls convinced she had been here before some time in the past.

Oassu squeezed Felina's hand "Oh yea....well I made sure you were safe then I'll keep you safe here" he said drawing her closer and smiling.
Zadina rolled his eyes and shuffled away from his cousin and Oassu he noted a shiny rock on the ground and picked it up giving it a brief smell "Nethicite....." he said flicking through his book to find it.
Itaka grimaced "We should call Hebal back then.....Nethicite can have a strong effect on Viera like a narcotic or something" he said with a worried glance in her direction.

"Honestly you two this is hardly the time or place" Seph glared at Oassu and Felina
"And what do you suggest we do? Just send her back to the airship. Its not like they always react badly to it" Alpha questioned. "Hey Hebal get back here!" he shouted through the cave causing a loud echo.
Habal stopped and sighed walking back towards the group "Why can't I go ahead?" she pouted.

Felina turned bright red "Sorry Seph" she apologised letting go of Oassu's hand
"Put that fire out, we should use torches" Hayate warned Alpha while taking a closer look at the nethicite, "Viera's are much more likely to be affected when the stuff starts to burn" he informed.
"What exaclty is nethicite?" Satoshi asked not being entirely sure what the fuss was about.

Oassu glared at Seph "Don't be such a love kill" he sighed "Just jealous" he said sticking his tounge out at her.
Zadina found the page on Nethicite "It's a manmade substance designed to contain and control the power of the myst" he flicked a page "Because of the Viera's affinity with Nature and myst it can have extreme behavioural and emotional effects on them" he said closing the book.
Itaka frowned "Man made....someone else must be here" he said "But yea we don't want Hebal collapsing in a slobbering wreck so put that fire out but if it's man made don't expect much more of it, you should be alright Hebal"
Oassu whispered to Zadina "Pocket that nethicite it sells for a bunch and is surprisingly useful" he told Zadina who promptly pocketed it

"Oh please. It will only make things harder for you later on" Seph replied calmly. "But what is myst?"
Hebal picked up a piece of nethicite "Myst is naturally occurring energy, found in almost all regions of the world, affecting all living things, the climate, and even the land itself. There are two types of nethicite: man-made and deifacted, which is far stronger but very little of it exists. But your right this stuff is man made yet still absorbs myst" She explained
Alpha grinned picking up a few pieces "In that case they are indeed valuble but I am surprised nobody else has come here for it."he reduced the fire ball in his hand to a tiny candle size

"We need to find you a boyfriend Seph then you won't be saying anything" Felina teased.
Satoshi sighed "All this mist stuff is confusing. I'll pretend I understood" she continued walking further into the cave. She sliced a lamia in half on the way.
"Don't be greedy. Stop taking the nethicite and lets go already." Hayate scolded.

Oassu laughed "Yea we'll need to hook you up with somebody maybe Alpha" he snickered
Itaka frowned "There's too much man made nethicite here....another party must have came through before us but lets keep going till we find that Marlboro or the pot."
The cave opened out into a wide cavern filled with fiends of all shapes and sizes.
Zadina trembled a little at the sight of them "They all look so mean"

Seph rolled her eyes "I don't date people more than double my age so that rules him out" she grinned at the sight of the fiends "looks like we need to clear the path" she stated casually cutting through a fiend that had been scurrying along the ground.
Hebal glanced over at Seph, surprised that she could be so calm about the situation. She dug her spear up into the head of a flying fiend killing it instantly.
Alpha went over to Zadina "Don't be fooled by their looks, these creatures aren't particulaly strong" he reassured him.

"That still leaves you with Itaka" Felina stuck her tounge out before casting a barrier spell on Zadina "Have a go against one. If things get out of hand I'll protect you" Felina encouraged him.
"Don't bother with the unimportant ones. Save your energy" Hayate reminded them forming a small barrier around himself walking past the fiends.
Satoshi sighed "These fiends are no fun. Maybe the other party is still here" she suggested while teleporting away from a fiends attack.

Oassu grinned as sat down and tapped the blades of his pinwheel individually. A small chakra thread spread out from his fingertips to the blades with each tap. A courl leapt for him but a firaga from Zadina caused it to be blasted into a fiery mess on the floor. A few pieces of nethicite glowed dangerously and Zadina gasped "I'm sorry!" he said before casting blizzaga on them to cool them down.
Itaka grinned "Well if the other adventurers are still here they might make for more of a challenge than these fiends" he said skewering multiple small spider-like fiends before putting his foot on the side of his sword and pushing them off.
Oassu got up having finished preparing his pinwheel he threw it into a crowd of approaching fiends and pulled it back like a yoyo after the damage had been dealt "Thanks Zadina" he said before turning to face a small green creature in a hood "Oh no....not these again" he said making hand signals rapidly.

Satoshi cast a confuse spell on the green creature "Save your jutsus for something more poweful" she watched as the creature began to stab itself.
Hayate fired several shots at the flying fiends that were beginning to surround Hebal. "Watch yourself"
"I hate spiders. Tey are icky" Felina complained pulling one off her leg and blasting it with a ball of light energy

"No time to develop a fear of bugs" Alpha approached Felina picking up a wolf like fiend and tossing it accross the cave.
Hebal glared at Hayate "I don't need your help right now" she answered lauching a beam of none elemental energy back in the direction of an iron giant.
"Stop whining all of you. some training is better than none at all" Seph moved over to Itaka killing a duel horn in the process "So what do you think of Zadina and Hebal so far in the way of combat?"

Oassu noticed the spiders seeming to form a tunnel around Felina "Oh no ya don't!" he said throwing his pinwheel around Felina and controlling it so it spiralled around her cutting the spiders away before carefully spiralling back and returning to Oassu as he ran to back up Felina.
Zadina noticed a large swarm of enemies crossing a bridge across the cavern. He flicked through a few pages in his book before throwing out his hand causing a huge wall of Ice to appear at the bridge blocking the path.
Itaka held his sword bluntside stopping an Iron Giant from crushing Seph "Well they both seem powerful yet I haven't seen Zadina use any dark magic yet" he heaved the sword back and sliced through the giant's shin's bringing it down to Itaka's size at which point Itaka promptly headbutted it off the cliff "Also Hebal seems to be getting a tad wound up and I doubt Zadina's physical skills considering he doesn't even bring a weapon beyond his little book with him, but did you ever find out what magic he speciallises in?" Itaka said turning to Seph in a brief lull in the combat
