The ship gave a shudder slightly stronger than before, but Rai had the reaction of flaring out her wings. It would make it very difficult for anyone to pass by her as she dropped the staff and held on to the railing with both hand, the metal giving a slight groan as it appeared to bend in Rai's hold.
