"I'd like a soda, if you don't mind." Artemis said then looked at Tasi. "Heh... I tried that.. Grabbed ahold on both of his legs and started to drag him out the door. But he grabbed the side of the door and refused to let go. For some reason, he was really bent on not coming. I got the last word, though.. I suspect he'll be here in 10 minutes or so. Perhaps a little more. He knows I'm right about this... " He said grinning again.

Brylea walked away to the bar. "I'd like one soda, and a glass of jack." Brylea walked back over to the table, and set down his soda. "I'm going to the bar.." She was just going to sit there and hang out to see if anyone was going to talk to her.
"Hmm, do you know why he doesn't want to ome..I hope it's not me..." Tasi looked at him. "What exacly are you right about..?"

Artemis took a small sip of his soda and sat the glass back down. "My guess is the people... He's always been afraid of talking to people and big crowds.. Don't ask me why because I'm not even sure. He's always been engulfed in those books of his, making them his only friends... I sware, he's worse than a little kitten... But he's been trying... You could tell if you've known him all your life. I'm right about him wanting to break loose of his normal life and jumping outside of the box instead of just making up friends... He wants it more than anything else.. He just hasn't realized it yet." He says and takes another sip of soda.

"Oh, I see. Yeah, he reads a lot... I'm such a people person. I could never read for a day knowing there was a party going on." Tasi sighed. That was one reason why she didn't want to go to this party with him as a date. He's just slink back whenever someone talked to him. She knew he would.

Artemis thinks for a moment, going into deep thought, then his eyes widen, supposivly finding what he was looking for. "Now I remember! At a time, when we were both just children, Fang was pretty outgoing.. He loved being outside and getting into trouble... Well, I was more of the trouble maker than him. He was the one who usually got me out of it.. Such a thoughtful little boy." Artemis said and grinned. "But... Something happened to him... One day when I was sick in bed, Fang went out by himself... And when he came back, it was like his inner child just died... He wouldn't tell me what happened.. No matter how much I pried... He went outside less and less untill finally, he just stopped leaving the house." Artemis said, loosing the grin and putting a more serious look on his face.

"I wonder what happened.."
Brylea was still sitting at the bar. No one was there, and she was bored. She walked over to the table where her sister was at and plopped down in a chair. "Where is everyone?" She groaned.

Artemis sighs and drinks more soda. "I've been wondering what happened to him everyday... How such a cheerful boy could've been turned into an emotionless zombie in just one day... It's sad, really... He was only 10 years old.. And only recently has he dared to venture off the property... 8 years in that mansion... Could you imagine that? I know I couldn't..." Suddenly, the door opened and quickly shut. It was Fang. He was sweating and panting like crazy. "Hey.... Everyone...." He said and gasped for air.

Brylea drank down the rest of her drink and sighed.

"Yeah.... I'm fine.... I just... Had to run the whole way here...." Fang says and points out the window, where many cats are looking in. Artemis stands up and walks over to his brother, then looks deeply into his eyes. "Dear brother, have you been crying?" Artemis whispered with a very serious look on his face. "No... Not at all..." Fang said and looked away from his brother.

Brylea looked at him funny.
"Cats..well, like him. Lots." Tasi laughs. "Gosh, Fang. You're the weirdest person ever." Tasi laughs again and hugs him.
Brylea stands up and says in a high pitched voice. "Gosh, Artemis You're the weirdest person ever." She practically throws herself onto Artemis.
Tasi glared at her. "Well, I'm sorry I'm friendlier than you. Probably more sober, as well." Brylea rolled her eyes and sat back down.

Fang hugged her back and sighed. "Yeah.. I suppose I am..." He said and looked at the cats outside who were starting to leave. Artemis looks at Fang and chuckles while all this is happening.

Artemis looked around and sighed. "I suppose everyones too busy to hang out with party people like us." Fang looked around and didn't seem too disappointed about it.
