Kolo's darker coloring had won out over Le'si stripes, but she had her mother's eyes. "She is perfect. What to hold her, Kolo?"

"I didn't think you'd wanna let go of her. But since your offering...." He holds out his arms.

"She is half yours, I can share," she handed the baby over.

Kolo held Kemi close. "Welcome to the world, sweetie."  

[Duchess Marie]

Le'si smiled, "who would not want a child? This is the best thing that has ever happened to me."

"I'm sure it was worth the birthing." He looked at Kemi visioning her as a grown up Silverblade.

The healer took the baby to get her cleaned up, "time for her first bath."

Sometime later they went to show the other their new daughter.

Le'si had the baby covered in a blanket. She was being overprotective as a new mother and did not want her too chilled.

Kolo showed his mother first since he knew she would want to see her the most.

Queen Kali held the baby gently, "such a cutie! Is she nursing all right? You know that you have to feed her often?" She went on about the importance of making sure that babies get enough to eat.

Kon was proud of Kolo. Kian didn't know what to make of this and wondered what Kia would think.

Kia had made a clip for the baby's hair, but she did not seem to have enough to hold it just yet.

Kolo sees the clip. "Did you make that? I'm sure she will love to wear it when she has enough hair. Come to think of it should she have long or short hair?"  

[Duchess Marie]

"Yes, maybe she could have short hair. That is easier to deal with, especially in a fight," Kia nodded.

Le'si did not really want to think of her baby girl getting hurt. She would run anyone who hit her to the borders of the forest. "We can let her decide when she gets bigger."
