Good afternoon, Admiral... although it's nearing evening here. Ah, a typewriter? Fascinating, my family used to have one. 8D

Oh, Meji.. you better be careful with that flattery of yours, or else people may get the wrong impression about you and I. xp
Regarding Typewriters: Am I really so old that I still remember the smell of freshly printed black ink? Typewriters aren't entirely dead to society, are they?

This is my first stab at a high-texture avatar, I tried to obscure the items... enough that people would have a hard time figuring out which items I used. I was half successful, gotta work harder. :>
As for typewriters, my father had one a few years ago, but it disappeared recently, probably into the storage room. I'm certain they're not completely extinct, though.
As of 2009, typewriters still were used by some U.S. government agencies. E.g., it was reported that in 2008 New York City purchased a few thousand typewriters, mostly for use by New York Police Department, at the total cost of $982,269; another $99,570 were spent in 2009 for the maintenance of the existing typewriters. New York police officers use the machines to type property and evidence vouchers on carbon paper forms. Courtesy Wikipedia.

Kirisuka Welcome back, Clary. I've had an alright day, thank you. ;) Homemade ice cream is the best, better than any store bought. <3 I completely agree. Too bad I never get around to making home made ice cream as often as I want to. emo And I am doing just dandy! Just enjoying my Spring Break! heart whee
