[The Black Pearl ~ Deck]
Tia Dalma’s glare intensified as Kyle spoke. It was clear that she had blocked out all other distractions and was zeroing in on the earthling as he spoke. The goddess remained silent after Kyle stopped spiting critical information out at her, hardly giving Jenny a second’s glance as she offered her weak input. The tension seemed to grow to a critical point before it faded as Calypso turned back to the sea. The looming presence she towered over them with dissipated and all that could be felt from her was a residual sense of anger.
“Go.” She said shortly, crossing her arms as she leaned her front against the ship railing. “Leave me be ta tink.”

[Narnia ~ ???]
"Excellent." She said shortly, flourishing the Ice Witch's staff in her right hand. "Moving on. Follow me."
"W-Wait, your grace!" The little witch exclaimed hopping along after the Replica before she could leave. "There's another thing!"
Elleon paused, looking over her shoulder with a glare that conveyed her impatience. "Well spit it out then."
"The stone knife . . . the stone knife is a powerful weapon in this land. If you procure it you are sure to be feared and respected." She said with a shaky voice, wringing her hands.
The blonde paused and turned her face up as she thought, drumming her fingers against the staff. "Where is this stone knife?"
"I know not. It vanished with the destruction of the Queen. You must search to find it."
". . . Sounds good . . . So let's get moving then."

Jacob ll Crow's nest
The dirty-blonde teen ruffled his hair as he sat down, chuckling slightly. "Yeah. This is my little hole in the wall. I like it up here. It's so open, serene...It makes me feel like I'm flying. You like it here?" Jacob said. He closed his eyes slowly, took a deep breath in through his nose and exhaled slowly through pursed lips. His steel blue eyes flashed open directly at Sayrike. He smiled, awaiting her response.

[ Kyle : Caribbean : On Deck]
"As you wish," Kyle said, making a swift bow and pulling away from Tia Dalma, walking backwards and away (assuming Jenny was coming with him) before turning around all together. As the duo left Tia's side, Kyle seemed neutral for a few moments before suddenly smiling.
"Well, that went better than expected!" he said with a sincere chuckle. He wrapped one arm around Jenny's shoulder and squeezed her close in sort of a side-hug. "See? That wasn't all that bad, was it?"
In truth, Kyle was mildly frustrated. That had gone much worse than he'd expected. But he was used to hiding his disappointment- so well that more often than not, he eventually believed his lies.
"Now, I'm gonna go check on Joey," he told Jenny, nodding over to Joe's location. "I'd go check up on Louis and Dawn normally, but they seem fine from here, so I'll get to them next. Thanks for stickin' by me with Tia!"
With another quick hug, Kyle began to head toward the stairs. He hadn't seen Joe come up, so he assumed the bo-wielder was still below deck.
[ Ajora : ??? ]
"Look at Louis, playing the hero. Does that make you feel warm and fuzzy inside? Knowing you've defeated the big bad wolf?"
Ajora's voice was obviously condescending in nature, as if he were talking to a child. It sounded like whispers coming from all around him. For the briefest of moments, the first person Louis locked eyes with would have appeared identical to Ajora, smirking at him. This would have lasted all of an eye-blink.
"But alas, the wolf has merely chosen the clothing of a different sheep. And to think I had a volunteer~"

[ Ajora : Beach : Hawaii ]
"I did no flinging, I merely landed. Perhaps that's a bit of karma, hmm?" Ajora replied to Nicholas, sticking his tongue out rather immaturely. When Demyx responded, Ajora looked at the Nobody before glancing up, as if in thought, rubbing his chin.
"You might have a point. I still need to be introduced to the rest of this little gang!" he said, turning away from Alan and looking at the majority of the group that lazied around the beach.
"Let's see," he mused, bringing a hand up to his chin in thought. "We have Kyla, Bobbi, and John," he said, pointing nonchalantly at each one. "Then... I know you two were at Beast's Castle, but I never got your names, and-" he continued, pointing at Kyle and Amy, before finishing by pointing at Dani. "You're new... hey, isn't Kichi with you guys?"

[Dani :: Hawaii :: Beach]
Dani stared weirdly as Bobbi transformed back into her swimsuit and was cursing at the top of her lungs. “Well,” Dani smiled to Bobbi and patted Bobbi’s back, “Seems like someone is starting to loosen up. Now let’s start the sand castle.”
Dani started to get on the ground to gather some of the sand when she noticed that a finger was being pointed at her. She quickly stood up and looked over to Ajora and shrugged as he did not know who she was. She then looked at her charm and activated it so that only Bobbi and Kyle could hear her. “I am going to talk to Ajora. I will not stray far from you two.” Dani thought before shutting off the connection and walking over to Ajora.
“Well,” Dani said before putting her hand out to the ‘evil incarnate.’ “My name is Dani. Sadly I do not know your name since I am new to this little ‘group.’ Care to tell me yours?”

[Cloud : Hawaii : Beach]
Leon had stopped, tensed a moment, and remained on guard. A replica, he said. Cloud, who had been a few paces behind, now came up alongside him.
Not just one replica, Cloud immediately noted, but two. The sight of Azrael lounging struck him as uncannily familiar, but he couldn't place the memory. The entire situation seemed out of place. An attack didn't appear to be taking place, and the replicas, as Cloud continued to observe, were being civil, in a way.
Something about the way this Ajora laughed struck Cloud as incredibly insulting. They had more than enough people to defend themselves; so why was he so arrogantly at ease? They could even chase him away, if they so chose. Cloud felt a tingle in his fingertips, an urge to draw his weapon and attack.
The Genesis experience cautioned him against such an action. He had already heedlessly attacked someone today, and was still smarting because of it.
Still... could they really afford to just let these replicas gather whatever information they wanted?
Cloud frowned and folded his arms. He stared at Ajora coldly, daring him to go too far.

[Amy : Hawaii : Beach]
"Can't give you my name," Amy said. "Would you rather have information on my fighting style, support abilities, and a list of my greatest fears?"
Her crossed arms and scowl were far from intimidating, the challenge in her voice more likely to instigate laughter. What were those strange designs on his back, she wondered.

[ Ajora : Beach : Hawaii ]
As Dani walked up and announced herself, Ajora raised a brow, seeming to be amused by the question. "Ajora, Replica of Kyle the Dragoon, though only by a technicality."
When Amy spoke up, he didn't laugh, merely grinned sheepishly at the girl. "Nah, see, I'll get all that and more soon enough. I'm really just being civil to see if you'll realize it's the easy way to go about things," he said, shrugging nonchalantly as he did so. He felt Cloud's glare, but didn't seem to give half a s**t. "You know, gauge your reactions and all that. I prefer this to the secondary approach, really."

[Noelle & Prote ~ Black Pearl ~ Galley]
Prote eyed Noelle as she sat quietly before the fire in the stove, fingers drumming her lower lip. He could see her calculating and putting pieces together--it was like there was a light dancing behind her eyes, tossing things back and forth. He wondered if his eyes looked the same way. Finally she sighed and made a face, scratching the back of her head.
"Sorry, I'm trying to keep all of this from flying out the window, here." Noelle laughed and looked up. Prote had his head tilted to the side slightly. "Oh, I mean, uh, there's no window, I'm just trying to keep from forgetting it all."
"Oh, I see. Why did you not just say that?" Prote asked.
"Uhh . . . habit? I was using a metaphor. You know what a metaphor is right?"
Prote nodded, "Yes, I recall the use of them from the memories I am composed of, yet . . . I don't understand them. A window is a window and a mind is a mind. How could something going out of a window represent not being able to hold on to thoughts?"
Noelle made another face, trying to figure out how she could explain this. "Well, I think you're being too technical--not drawing the right lines or connections. I mean, imagine that your mind is the window and your thought is . . . let's say a bouncy ball. You're unable to hold onto the bouncy ball, the thought, so it slips from your hand and bounces out of the window. Does that make sense?"
". . . Not at all."
The agromancer let out an exasperated sigh and leaned on one of her hands, "Well I don't really know how else to explain it. Let's try this then. When I say 'red' what comes to mind?"
"Red is a primary color." Prote replied, then went silent.
Noelle awaited more but nothing came. "Is that it? I mean, don't you think of things that are red? When I think about red I think about apples, and roses, and hearts, and paint. Do you not get any of that?"
The Geist shook his head again, "I see all of those items on an individual basis. I find no connection between them. A rose is a flower. Red is a color. How can a flower be anything like a color? I do suppose that flowers have colors, but flowers are not just red, they can be many different colors."
Her reply was to give Prote a dumbfounded look. "Huh . . . so that's it then. I keep forgetting that you don't function like we do. The human mind makes tons of connections between objects and memories within seconds, so one thing is associated with another. Like the smell of mothballs--for me it's associated with my grandmother's house. It always smelled like mothballs. . . . So you have the memories . . . but no connections between them? Interesting."
"I suppose I am not quite as complex as you have come to think I am."
She shrugged, "Nah, you're still pretty freaky."

{Kyle : Hawaii : Beach
Smiling as Dani clamped onto his arm, he raised an eyebrow in amusement when Bobbi started to curse at her summon. He was glad Midgardsormr didn't act like that, for he would have a much shorter fuse with the summon if that did occur. He heard Ajora ask who he was and found something a tad bit comical in that Ajora already knew his name, but he just smiled and turned to the sand, shaping it as he pleased.
When Dani sent out the message to them, he was a tad bit confused. He had thought that Dani already knew Ajora's name, so why bother starting off with that? Some vague attempt to...? Shaking his head, he went back to building his castle, but when Amy responded as well, he spoke up from his position. "It would be really nice if we could be civil about everything, but I don't think that could happen, realistically speaking." He said, glancing over at him before turning back. Part of the castle had fallen apart when he looked away, even though it was for a short period of time. Ah. Yes. I'm terrible at making sand castles. You'd think that playing with earth would be easier now, and yet...
Looking up suddenly, he realized he hadn't offered his name. Technically, he already knew his name, but wouldn't put the connection together without being told. "Ah, coincidentally, you already know my name. It's the name of someone you know quite well. Shouldn't be too hard to figure out."

((Sorry for the long wait- I got sick again, busy, and a whole lot of stuff- blaaah if I don’t reply fast enough please just auto me.))
[Kyla: Hawaii: Shallow>Tides]
Kyla didn’t feel like deep diving anymore, she wanted to keep an eye on things. There was no way she could relax knowing the schemer was here perusing the shoreline and talking nonchalantly like they were old school buddies. It was like those bullies at school who wanted to sit at your table for some reason before and after you’re usual clashes, because they wanted something only they could get by approaching you in that manner. It was an approach that drove her crazy at times.
So then what? Couldn’t fight, couldn’t relax… was it possible to do something in the middle? Using her weapon, which didn’t change her clothing while she was off shore, she drew a simple lotus pattern, with a more puffed detail to it. A corresponding object appeared in the water beside her. It look like an open lotus, flatter with its edges turned up, and it’s puffed petals were filled with air. It was big enough that she climbed onto it and could sit there as it floated peacefully along the surface. Then dismissing her book Kyla just sat there drifting on the current. It took it out a ways but it was no trouble to steer it back to shore it went too far.
At least this way it looked like she was relaxing, but she could keep an eye on the replicas when the crap finally hit the fan- which she had no doubt it would, in one form or another.
Perhaps now would be a good time to talk? She concentrated on the person she wanted to speak to, and hoped now wasn’t a bad time.
~ Kyle? This is Kyla, checking in. Ajora has shown up on the beach but nothing has happened. Do you have a few moments?~

[ Kyle : Caribbean : Below Deck]
Kyle hadn't gotten far (barely past the stairs) when a familiar voice sounded over the charms. He sighed. Her voice seemed calm, which meant Ajora still hadn't pulled anything, but the fact that he was still there was troublesome all the more.
"Yeah, your Kyle told me a minute or two ago. Let me guess, making a grand introduction or something of the sort?"
Kyle seemed annoyed, but it was obviously targeted toward Ajora, not the pictomancer. While he continued the mental conversation, he began to scour around the lower decks, looking for Joseph.

[Amy : Hawaii : Beach]
"Civil?" Amy said, her eyes and tone expressing her incredulity, "He's arrived in the midst of us, while we're at our full strength, tells us he's an enemy, then declares his intention is to gather information about us, and I'm supposed to be civil?"
Amy looked around at the group, and gestured at Ajora. "Why don't we just shoot him in the head?"

[ Ajora : Beach : Hawaii ]
Ajora mused over Kyle's words, but once Amy spoke, he decided not to bother contemplating it. He'd find out eventually.
"Well, because you're the good guys, obviously," he replied, grinning and chuckling, as if it were the funniest thing in the world and he was having trouble restraining himself. "Good guys are all about diplomacy and avoiding bloodshed and blah blah blah, all that stuff that holds you back. I mean, hell, all of you against me alone? I'm doomed, flat-out, end-game."
"And Az ain't gonna come to my aid, that's for sure," he continued, shrugging. "I've interrupted his free-time. Although, that begs the question- why don't you shoot him in the head? Hell, I haven't even attacked you, but he has, and yet, you let him relax. Why am I any different?"
Ajora grinned.
