"Well, I'm in no coven for I fend for myself," Lucifer replied, "and two, I've been around so long that something as meaningless as that wouldn't do much to me either." He sensed that Cynder had returned, which he thought would have taken longer, but it didn't matter.

"I'm guessing that the inn idea didn't work?" he asked as she walked forward. Lucifer's eyes were watching the moving people below, finding it funny how they didn't notice that three people were on a rooftop.

"So very sad.." He whispered to himself.

"And why is it that you have no coven?" She was somewhat surprised to hear that this vampire was without a coven. Then again, perhaps he was only recently turned and he hadn't taken the time to find himself a coven. He could also be an outcast that'd been rejected or even banished from the coven for doing things that they believed to be immoral. The list could go on and the possibilities were many so she didn't try to come up with too many ways for why he may not have a coven. She was bored out of her mind but right now she had people here so she didn't need to wander off with her mind at the moment. She especially didn't need to wander off with her mind when she hadn't established whether or not these were friends or foes.

"You've establishments here in New York that know of your existence? Are there others from your race that run these establishments or what?" All her life, Sibyl had been in her secluded reserve where only a few people knew of her existence. These were commitee elders that knew what they were doing and could be trusted with such information. The reserve was frequently attacked by vampires so they had lycans there to fend them off and assist in maintaining the small population.

Having a wandering spirit that didn't tend to linger for long unless she felt that it was needed, Sibyl stood up and began to walk away. At the very least she could offer the new faces a goodbye though she didn't even know their names. "I'm not good at sitting in one place for a long time, sorry to say. I am pretty sure that we will likely run into eachother again despite how large this city seems to be. I've got a good sense of smell so I can just track you should I feel up to it. Farewell." With that, Sibyl jumped off the roof and back into the alleyway. She was walking around when she heard some faint sounds emitting from it with her hyper sensitive ears and decided to investigate.

Markus walked out of the alley, and tried to look for the Lycan. She intrigued him, She was impervious to his mind techniques and attacks, he need to know more. He descended into his fully psychic frame of mind. He heard thoughts all around the city. He eventually tracked her thoughts down, she was with a vampire. And someone else. He shrugged, and lay against the wall, and bit his arm, he let his blood trickle down his arm, and licked it off. He hadn't drank from the Lycan, there blood tasted bitter. He found he could last months on his own blood, he knew it was pathetic.
He sent out a low telekenetic message into Sybils mind, feeling temporarily stronger. "That was very rude of you, Lycan. I am not used to Lycans, you are clearly more animal than Human, and are impervious to my acts at dragging anger from you." He chuckled, and winced for a moment. He sensed weakness in him, he needed to find a human, pure human... He wandered down the alley and fell to his knees, the rain soaking his hair so it stuck to his face again. The moment of insanity had been caused by lack of blood. His mind drifted to Cailfis, his mentor, Vampires had a natural connection to the Vampires who blooded them.

From within her own mind, Sibyl managed to maintain a mental connection with the vampire and use her own minimal powers to respond to him: ~Rude of me? I'd say that it was rude of you to attack me in the first place, dear vampire. Clearly I wasn't intending to harm you but once given a reason to attack, I do. Am I now? I didn't realize that I seemed more animal than human. I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or if I should take that as an insult.~

Cynder rolled her eyes, chuckling. "No, I don't care. As long as I'm amused, I'm fine. But, since I'm not hungry, it's not amusing." she lay back and looked up at the sky, closing her eyes halfway.

Cynder shook her head sleepily. "No... Too tired." she sat up and rubbed her eyes, trying not to fall asleep while Lucifer was around. "But I'm fine. I say we find a nice, warm, abandoned building with at least four rooms."

Cynder glanced at Lucifer. "Well... Okay. But, is it near any Vampires? I shouldn't be near them." she giggled nervously, standing and brushing herself off.
