The problem is, they usually don't seem to be aware that they're the issue.
And most times, based on the situation, you can't really tell them to go ******** themselves or something.
Especially if you're a cashier....

Well....true...
But still, I could work both jobs in a day, feel tired the entire time at the grocery store, but be awake and happy at Teavana.
Atmosphere and not being treated poorly does a hell of a lot.

....yup.
I'm just not used to people inviting me out to dinner like that.
Hell, I'm not really even used to being asked out on an actual 'go someplace and do stuff' date thing by a boyfriend.
Partly because I don't need to go somewhere, I prefer time not things, and partly because I was usually in the same place as the boyfriend, so it wasn't really needed.
I recall mildly freaking out when I realized I'd been asked on a legitimate date.
Specifically seeing someone to go get food and that's it is not a normal occurrence in my life.
Much prefer snuggling the living daylights out of him anyway.

darn people and not realizing that they're making people uncomfortable, just realizing that the person is uncomfortable. and sometimes not caring. not being able to tell people that though, that's one thing i can absolutely understand. i wasn't allowed to do that back in morton mainly because it was a small town. lose any customers and you'll go under because they will talk

you have a very good point there. atmosphere helps a lot in either ruining something or making it all better

i hear ya there. on all accounts, too. it's better to stay in a familiar place with familiar people than to go out to places imo. though some would disagree, i suppose. and there's always exceptions. though it sounds like you're gonna have a good time with thine relationship partner for quite a long time, from all that you've said about it. and i realize that most of this isn't a direct response to your response, but i couldn't think of much to put as a direct response. it'd be like... two sentences each

Yeah.....
At least I know how to politely tell people things without really getting snippy at them...
I just can't always do it like I want to....and it's way more frequent in the grocery store.
(had a guy (short version) ask for my number, I replied that I didn't think my boyfriend would like that much)

MHM.
Plus, free tea while working helps too.

.....Part of me really wonders why people keep telling me that.
I mean, half of me figures it's politeness...but the other half figures people really do think it's long time or it's gonna end in marriage....
I don't really get it.
And why do you keep using atypical titles instead of the simpler ones?

nice ways work, but blunt ways are more fun. it's arduous being nice sometimes solely because you're not allowed to be anything else. hopefully the guy left off after you said that, though

free tea always helps, especially if it's good tea

i usually say it because i honestly hope people end up happy. whether it's with someone else or without, as long as they have happiness in their life, that's good enough. and he seems to make you happy, so that's my reason for it
i dunno. it's more fun sometimes to use longer words and fancier prose. other times it's more fun to get the point across in as few words as possible

Hello~!

hey! How is life??

Much better today than it has been in a while.
This week, I quit one of my jobs because it was causing me fairly big issues.
Today I got to see my bf and meet ALL of his family.
(Only met his dad before today....and that was only once)
A few other really good things happened this week too...
Mainly involving my bf being a horrible, terrible meanie (that's the tsundere part of me talking, fyi)

What about you?

Okay, been babysitting dogs and getting ready for my larp experience at the end of the month.

He had to.
There were people behind him in line.

It's fantastic tea.

See, my issue is more the fact of how many people have said it...
A couple, sure.
But when basically every person you talk to about him/you says something like that?
That has only slightly better chances than having all of your boyfriends having said at some point they want to marry you.
I mean the only people to not have said anything like that is my mother and sister, but they are rather protective and try to stick more on the side that things kight go wrong.
Plus they haven't really fully met him either.
Have to fix that one.
Ah, I see.....but it is very odd to read, almost jarring at times, to be honesg....and very asperger-y.

good thing it wasn't a slow time of day/slow moment, then

i'll have to get some tea from the teavana at the mall next time i get the chance, then

ahhh, okay. sorry about that, then. anything will get annoying when people say it too often, no matter what it is. and good luck with the eventual meeting of your family and him!

my apologies, then. and what do you mean by 'very asuperger-y'? not sure what you mean by that

No kidding.

Don't, it's rather expensive. And by "rather expensive", I mean that it's (for the worst quality out of what we have) 4.98 per 2oz to (tea only picked every few DECADES) 29.98 per 2oz, depending on the tea you want.
And if the people there aren't like me and a couple other people I work with, they'll try to make you buy extra things and talk up the expensive things.
And they might be nice about it...but likely they'll be fairly pushy...dunno how other areas are run, though.
Only thing they talk up you really oughta buy if you don't have much to spend, or you don't want to spend a ton, is a tea tin.
Because it helps prevent wasted money.
Past that....If you like english breakfast (for example), get english breakfast even if they try to sell you Golden Monkey.
EB = 6-ish dollars/2oz
GM = 18.98 dollars/2oz

I'm not annoyed.
I'm confused and don't exactly understand (mainly because I'm trying to not 'get ahead of myself' and screw things up).
There's a difference.
And thank you.

Using bigger words when a simpler set will do.
You finding using those words aside....example time!
Instead of saying "The ground is very wet", which most people would do because it's simple and to the point, AS people are known for speaking pedantically, rather than pragmatically.
ie, "The soil absorbed a lot of water".

I've gotten the red miku hatsune item, Forlorn Opera, Demon Vassal....I think a couple others....
I want to be able to smack them in thanks with a couple bits of being flaily from 'why you be so nice' and stuff.

Oooo.
Fluffy dogs!
Means awesome cuddles!
4laugh
Whose dogs are they?

....there are NPCs in LARPing?
The only LARPPing I ever saw was the "go!....*people flail about with foam weaponry like it's a 6-yr-old soccer game*..............stop!" kind...
Which is the extra lame looking kind.
Fighting with foam weaponry, that's cool.
Flailing around like you're 6 with foam weaponry....not cool.

if food stamps are accepted at teavana, then it'd be a bit less of a problem. i spend about $30 or so a month on beverages, so that'd just be a few less sodas. if they don't though, then there'd definitely be a money problem. most of the money i obtain goes towards saving for games and stuff, and since the job market is s**t and i don't meet any minimum qualifications (read; prior experience and/or a college degree for a starting-level job) for most jobs, actual money is low in supply. i'll definitely take those bits of advice, though

ahhh, okay. got it. thanks for that clarification

'the soil absorbed a lot of water' wouldn't be fun to say, though. most of the time when i do the thing it's because it's more fun to use the longer version. which probably doesn't change the fact that like seven years ago now i think??? it was determined (without professional diagnosis so it could be highly inaccurate) that i had aspergers. never knew that was an aspergers-y thing

huh. wonder who's doing that, then, and why? like you said, those things are fairly expensive. even in this broken-a** economy. you haven't been posting at all in any anon threads, right?
