Old Man KB Why are boss-level god characters even interacting in the tournament when everyone who is attacking/defending is on the competitor level, using approved bios? It seems a bit lame to me for Roen to be copped out of the consequences of his actions ( the character I mean ) just because. I've been planning to do a roleplay plot meeting with his character before the tournament started, which is why she's trying to get him to a place to talk. But everyone seems to want to grant him his death wish. As for interaction, it's the reason why I am not having her directly affect others. She's more of a plot NPC at the moment.

Well then you should have done that before the tournament. Rosa's post preserves the roleplay, yours doesn't. The fact that he was even gracious enough to let Nox magically appear armed to the teeth and brandishing Roen's signature weapon is enough to even the odds. I mean, it's a ball... there's supposed to be disadvantages to attending without weapons.
So now it's KB with his natural weapons ( which were his edge over the mostly unarmed dancers ) and Fier unarmed ( which isn't a major setback, but I'm sure that when facing guns and swords he'd love to have his gauntlets/bracers )
Again. I'm just asking, why? Why not let things play out, and the roleplay be shaped by the players and not random outside interference?

She just an upper level minion who got conscripted by the boss. cool Edit* And yes Ross, thank you for that. Quite gracious of you, really. I hate it when an rp is ground to a halt by excess bawwing.

Yeah, sometimes it's good to put the tension on hold instead of resorting to throwing hands.
But never put your thirst on hold. Put it in a hold. A submission hold.
GRAPPLE!

Yeah, well, I'd rather a good old Mexican standoff. (Shut up, KB)
Roen doesn't do teleportation; ******** doesn't even run unless he really has to. I plan on having him walk right out and into a limo with his posse.

I've never seen anything good come from using overly powerful characters outside of acting as NPCs.

It works by blocking all forms of metaphysical transportation into and out of the given area by surrounding it with metaphysical hoo-haa, with the added implications that Rhoslyn is actively defending it and is ready to hammer any attempts that try to bulge through through brute force/needling.
My point is, I don't think they're equals (high level cleric ability versus a high-level wizard specializing in both "keep s**t from happening" and "move s**t around through powers") and nothing is stopping you from simply jumping out of a window and casting LOLPORT once you're clear of the building by a few feet on the way down.
@KB: Not that high of a level, and "not directly interfering". I'm just making it harder to cop out plotwise. See above.

Well, we still need to establish a post order. Either way, Roen won't be walking anywhere.

Awesome work, Cael. xd
