She stood on top of an old lamp post her posture perfect and refined. She smiled at him her eyes glazing over with a black liquid her hair picking up with the wind that surrounded them. The ice began to melt away and fire erupted around them as she lurched herself forward towards him baring her fangs in a threatening manor only to go right through him like smoke beneath the ground towards the subway. The fire seemed to disappear and the materials around them seemed untouched. It was an illusion. She was now somewhere in the subway lines. She had used all her remaining strength and she would need to feed before she could even stand evenly on her own two feet.

Amethyst stood with a stretch, she fidled with something in her pocket she had watched the hunter and the tainted she walked upto the tainted "maybe you should try not to be startled by simple illusions" she said quietly as she passed him to look through a window displaying dragons and weapons.

She felt her body throw itself towards the stone wall and she slipped down to the dusty floor. Dank and humid the dark seemed to surround her. Nocturnal senses allowed her to search for anything with a beating heart. There was something and it echoed menacingly in her ears it was all that should could hear it was driving her crazy as her body shook with a disturbing lust. She growled softly almost as a lover would to her mate. But this was of course a different desire.

He had never really minded the subway but today it was so empty it wasn't any fun, the people weren't even that interesting to watch. He just sat and waited, knowing that what was coming would come and he could no more stop it than time itself.

She tried to swallow the sounds of a heart beating inside her to hide it in the pit of her stomach but it seemed to only make it louder. She cried out in pain and it turned into a grow as her fangs grew. Knives felt as though they crawled beneath her skin.

Amethyst looked back at him "right" she said with a small smile "she used a fire illusion and you did nothing" she yawned tiredly "I call that startled".

*He got up closing the book and walking over to her, he didn't even seem like he was there but she could see and between her own screams she could hear him. He pulled something warm and familiar out of his bag and held it out to her.* YOu best eat, things are troublesom enough for you and we can't have you leaving the game so quickly.

She quieted as the familiar scent of iron filled her lungs. Her body went still. it was as though everything else was black and white but the vile he held the liquid inside was thick and red moving as though stuck in slow motion. She could hear the liquid swish inside the glass. She reached out a quivering hand but it took more and more strength the higher she lifted it not entirely sure if she would strain herself to the point of passing out but she attempted anyways.

*He cracked the top off the vile and poured it into her mouth carefully and smiled some* I know it's not the best, but it will help. *He looked around his shades falling for a moment and he took out a few other vials like the first and set them next to her after the one she'd had was drained.* These should sate you till you find another source, try to conserve them though, it's hard to fill them. *He smiled fixing his stuff and walking over and boarding the train.* See you again soon i hope. *THe doors started to close as he sat down to read.*
