PhoenixFirecat ((apparently i missed something interesting earlier.....)) Rose bounced down the stairs, dragging her cat girl doll by its foot as she always did, its cloth head bouncing off every step. The tiger-girl was humming to herself happily and without a real melody. She twirled around with her doll, now holding it by one leg and an arm, her humming starting to sound like a mix between an Irish jig and a waltz. After a few seconds of this, Rose wobbled from dizziness and plopped on the floor, still giggling.Tomo perked his ears, smiling at the small child, "Hey, sweetie! Do you want to help me make cupcakes?" He asked, tail swaying happily. He looked to Arlen, wondering what was going on in the boy's head before asking, "Would you like to help, too Arlen?"

Ellie glanced at Baizou, and nodded to Tomo. "That's fine.. N-no hurry.." she said shyly, and almost drew her body back a little. She was embarrassed of her body, and her natural reaction to everything was to draw back, now. Baizou still asleep? No matter..

Ukaia came in from downstaris and stiffled a small yawn streching her body a bit. she was dressed in a tank top and a shorts. she streched her entire body and yawned

"I'm goo-cupcakes?" Rose immediately popped up into a sitting position, her ears fully perked as she smiled excitedly at Tomo. "Yay!" she squealed as she got up, leaving her doll where it was as she hurried over to Tomo.

Baizou stirred and sat up slowly. His hair just barely brushed his shoulders. He yawned widely and looked over at Ellie, his eyes just automatically moved to the table. He stood up and scratched his head as he shuffled over to the table and sat down opposite her, "Just like old times, huh?" He asked with a small smile, remembering when he would watch her draw for hours.
Tomo looked up and smiled at the neko. "Hey, Uka! Free from work, today?" He asked, gathering the cupcake ingredients on the bartop so he could still converse.

Ellie sat in silence for a minute, before looking up at him. "Not really... It's nothing like before anymore." she said, in her soft voice, face still a bit flushed. The way he looked at her... did he always look like that? Her face faded to a deep red. "It's these, isn't it?!?" she nearly screamed her hands clasping her chest, and pushing it together. "Well, I hate them!" she screamed again, and stormed off. Ellie wasn't even sure why she was so emotional, but, it seemed like it was all anyone looked at. The short little ball of fury stormed off, and to the bar, where she sat, arms crossed, and leaning her chin on them. It wasn't much of a stoop, really, since she was already a little short for the barstools.

Baizou just sat there for a few moments, completely dumb-founded. He blinked and scratched his head, still trying to figure out if he were awake or not. After a few moments of analysis, he started to giggle, which turned into a chuckle. "Love." he began, standing up. "The thought never actually crossed my mind." He admitted, staring at his feet. "You know I am not that kind of guy."
Tomo smiled at Ukaia, figuring Ellie's return would be rough. "I'm making cupcakes," he said, handing Rose some of the ingredients to put into the bowl.

Rose took the ingredients, then set them on top of one stool and climbed up on top of the one next to it. She picked the ingredients back up and started adding them to the bowl, half-distracted by Ellie. "Is she okay?" she whispered to Tomo, looking worried.
((ooo...i wanna cause some mischief, but i dunno....))

Ellie just sat there, shaking her head, as he started to laugh. "This isn't fun-nyyyyy." she complained, and kept her head forward. "It's not easy, okay? Just.. I dont' wanna be picked on right now." she said, and watched the odd group make some baked goods.

Tomo looked to Ellie and shrugged in answer to Rose's question.
Baizou sighed, "I am sorry. I should not laugh." He said, rubbing his cheek as if trying to wipe the laugh from his face. "I know it is not easy and I would never try to pick on you, but... Would you like me to go upstairs for right now?" He asked, only wanted what would make her feel better. He was prepared for the next few days and vowed to himself that he wouldn't lose his patience with her.
