*As the three run down into the Well, they entered a large battle scene. Upon taking a closer look, 5 men in black were battling one man who had flaming-red hair and a black and red cape.*
Caped Man: *Spots Team Aqua* Mind giving me a hand, guys?
Grunts: *Turns around as well to see their intruders and three of them turn to challenge the Aquans*
Ike: *Has Gengar face one of the Grunts* What's going on?
Caped Man: Poachers! Dragonite, use Thunder Punch!
*A Dragonite who was facing a voltorb gave a devastating blow to the ball Pokemon. It was a powerful hit, even for an electric type attack hitting an electric type Pokemon. That Dragonite must of been really well trained.*
Ike: Looks like they have 2 Pokemon each. *Scans the two grunt's pokemon* Looks like they only have weak normal and electric types.*

Yeah, sorry. I can't make it. I'll be waiting either at the Azalea PC or back at Headquarters. I've got some bad news regarding the LBG.
I continue on to the Pokemon Center.

Cody sent out Baltoy to handle one of the grunts. He sent out a Voltorb. Baltoy used Magnitude to wipe out the ball pokemon. He sent out another Voltorb. Baltoy attacked with Confusion this time. The Voltorb knew he didn't stand a chance so he attacked with Sonicboom. Doing reasonable damage, the slightly injured Baltoy used Magnitude to end the battle. The grunt returned his final pokemon and retreated.

Maddy turned to face a Grunt, who sent out a Pikachu. Maddy smirked and sent out Gible, who was in the perfect mood for a battle. Pikachu's tail glowed with a metallic lustre as it slammed into Gible. Gible shook off the blow, and unleashed a devastating Earthquake. Pikarchu took massive damage from the powerful attack, and sparks flew from its cheeks dangerously as it let loose a terrible burst of electricity. Gible was left paralyzed from the shock, and Pikachu rushed in and slammed into him. Gible panted heavily, he was dreadfully weakened. Despite his paralysis, he managed to fire a jet of brilliant golden flame at Pikachu. Pikachu fainted from the attack.
Maddy smirked as her opponent sent out a Pidgeotto. The great bird Pokémon flapped its wings and created a weak gust of wind. But Gible was too weak and was KO'ed from the hit, and Maddy was forced to return him. Maddy's next Pokémon was Ghastly, whose first move was a powerful Thunderbolt. Pidgeotto shook off the attack and countered with a wickedly fast Aerial Ace. Ghastly was unable to avoid the hit and took some decent damage from the blow, but managed to make a comeback with Dark Pulse, which caused Pidegotto to flinch. Seizing the opportunity, Ghastly attacked with Thunderpunch. The attack was effective against Pideotto and left Maddy's opponent with no more useable Pokémon. Maddy returned her companion and walked back to join the others.

Man: *Has his Tauros face Gengar* Who are you guys huh?
Ike: I've been wondering the same thing about you guys.
Man: Tauros, Iron Tail!
Tauros: *Hits Gengar with it's three tails which were as hard as radio antennas. The attack hurt Gengar pretty bad until he went transparent and dodged the rest of the attack.*
Ike: Gengar, use payback!
Gengar: *Runs up to Tauros swinging his claws, doing double the damage the Tauros did to him.*
Tauros: *Starts waving his hands, trying to shoo away Gengar with it's horns. It then went in to do a Horn Attack, but Tauros only ended up running through the ghost type.*
Ike: Gengar, use Dark Pulse!
Gengar: *Puts his claws together and emits a dark energy at Tauros, taking it down in front of his trainer.
Man: *Recalls Tauros and sends out an Octillery, which came to a surprise by Ike.*
Ike: *Recalls Gegnar and sends out Pikachu* Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!
Pikachu: Pika! *Sends a bolt of electricity at Octillery, doing a good amount of damage. After the attack, the Octillery looked angry.*
Man: Octillery, use Rock Blast!
Octillery: *Grabs rocks with it's tentacles and starts launching them at Pikachu, hitting Pikachu with one over another. It his Pikachu 5 times.*
Pikachu: *Looks bruised from the bombardment of rocks, but shakes it off.*
Ike: Pikachu, use Quick Attack!
Pikachu: *Starts a sprint and tackles Octillery, sending it flying into a wooden create, obviously being used by the poachers, as slowpoke began to slowly crawl out of the crate, oblivious to the battles around them.*
Man: Octillery, use Ice Beam!
Octillery: *Fires a beam of ice at Pikachu, sending Pikachu flying backward into the Well wall.*
Pikachu: *Stands up barely with a thin layer of ice on his belly. He shakes it off.*
Ike: Alright Pikachu, one last hit! Thunder!
Pikachu: *Musters up the last of his strength* Pi-ka-CHU! *Sends a large bolt of lightning at the Octillery, frying it with electricity and knocking it out.*

Ike: *Shrugs to Cody, and turns to the Caped man, who had just finished defeating the man with the half-mask.*
Caped Man: *Walks up next to Dragonite and points at the man.* Your operation here is over.
Half-Masked Man: Fat chance! We may be small now, but Neo Rocket shall rise to Team Rocket's former glory! *Throws down a light-blue sphere to the ground, shattering it and emitting icy-blue smoke.*
Caped Man: *Throws his cape over his face* Dragonite, Defog!
Dragonite: *Flaps its powerful wings and clears the Well of the smoke. The mysterious men in black were gone.*
Ike: Figures they get away... they always do...
Caped Man: *Walks over to the three Aquans* Thank you. Allow me to introduce myself. I'm Lance, Dragon Trainer and Champion of both Johto and Kanto.
Ike: *Grins* I think we've all heard of you!

Lance: *Looks up at the SIV in awe.* I've never seen that trick before.
Ike: *Turns to Ginji* It seems a few people want to take Rocket's name and resurrect it.
Lance: *Nods to everyone, and notices all the Aqua Symbols.* Team Aqua, yes?
Ike: Yes. o.o
Lance: We've heard a great deal about you guys from our partners in Hoenn.
Ike: Really? Who to- *feels Lugia's ball shake. He continues is sentence with an awkward tone* -told you about us? ... sweatdrop
Lance: Wallace and Steven.

"Wait. Rocket is being resurrected?" Ginji stood in awe. "Is that a good thing? Who exactly is trying to pull this trick?" His former team had a long and difficult past, maybe it was a good thing if it stayed hidden.

Lance: *Turns to Ginji* Apparently, but looking at Rocket's past, this may be a bad sign. It's funny, though. They usually gloat about whatever they're doing will please the Boss. I've been fallowing these guys for a while, and i haven't heard a thing about Giovanni.
Ike: *Acts stretching and yawning* Well, would you look at the time? We really ought to be going. It's a pleasure meeting you Lance! *Starts pushing everyone toward the entrance of the Well*
Lance: Um... ok. Don't you worry. Every branch of the Pokemon League has heard your story and we have your back!
Ike: *Smiles back* Thanks! *continues pushing everyone out while whispering to them* We really need to go visit Kurt...
