I'm a lover, not a fighter. I choose to bathe my bride in the blood of children, but they're no challenge. Thus, I spend much more effort sexing her out of her mind then I do killing. Unless I'm sexing her out of her mind while I kill her, which is always fun.
Consequently, the neck is for noobies. Everyone know thigh-bites are where it's at. Assuming you can supress your appetite and really mean to kill them, and down mind some mess. The natural ability of an elder allows for them to quickly heal a wound from a bite, but one can find themselves so lost in the moment that in what seems are moments, the woman is very much dead. It's all a concept of time vs value. A vampire has limitless time, and thus nothing has value because it can be replaced. Only after realising that mortality is the greatest gift does a vampire truly understand that his existance it to be a damned crature until his untimely end. There will be no soul for him, no life after, there is nothing for he is only a tortured husk. And one finds that though each thing is fleeting and lacking substance, it lasts forever and is their whole world.
Vampires are rash however, and most only realise these powerful "life" lessons long after it's too late.
