You wouldn't know.

The guide should just come with the game.

You... don't need all the masks to beat MM. Only like, 7 of them.

More money can be had selling the guide separate from the game.

But what's the fun of a game without collecting everything? It was unique that each mask had a separate sidequest. However, bad game design led to needing a strategy guide, which a lot of games in the old era did on purpose to make people people go buy them instead of giving in game clues. Thanks to the internet, that is no longer the case. Game designers now have to reward players for putting together the clues to finding something instead of making them search the edges of the game itself to find it.

Also, that bunny hood was a necessity for getting around faster. I used it most of the time when I wasn't wearing any of the main masks.

Not fun when you have three days to do things before having to restart those three days again, then being at the right place at the right time of the ever moving clock in the game, whcih you hardly got any clues on unless you ended in a lucky place at the right time.

Roen Jaeger
Majora's Mask is nearly impossible to beat without a guide.

'You must be here at 2:30 on the second day to get this mask'

How am I supposed to know that?

Bomber's Notebook. All the masks are marked times on the list. You just need to meet the NPC at that time and done all necessary prerequisites for it to happen.

I got most of Majora's Mask without a guide, if not all of it. I probably looked up the way to complete the Kafei storyline since that one just requires to you to wait obscene amounts of time in counterintuitive places.

The time mechanic was infuriating.

I will admit, I forgot that the Bomber's Notebook existed most of the time. All I got was an update when I finished a sidequest, but never paid anymore attention to it afterwards.

If only Nintendo had given more of a foreword that "You can figure out how to get new masks if you keep a good look on your notebook and do the appropriate tasks at said times."

Uh.

Athena will just have to continue on her quest until she finds KB. Because... he isn't moving. He doesn't eat or drink or sleep. He's patient enough to just stand there until the thing ends unless he gets harassed.

Yeah, I figured as much. I'll have her find him in my next post and go from there. Forget being realistic.
