((okay! okay! I'm on!! xD I was in minnesota for a couple days with no access to a computer...haha...sorry...))
Serene looked at them, first, cocking an eyebrow and then laughed.
"aparently, you didn't see me get abducted by that demon...he was flying and I clawed him with my nails...and he dropped me. And Akuji just happened to be there..." She said, trying not to laugh. Then she quickly turned around.
"He's baaaccckkk..." she said in a sing-songy voice.

Akuji stood forward, ready to fight with his flames, but then he fell to one knee again, holding his eye with one hand.
"Leave it to me." Sedric grinned. "I'll kill him."

Serene walked over to Akuji, extending a hand to help him up. maybe he won't notice if I heal him again just by him touching my hand... She thought to herself.
She looked at Sedric and sighed. "Sedric, if your gonna be in a team, you need to learn to fight with one...don't hog all the demons for yourself, geez..."

Akuji lifted his hand to grasp hers. "Thanks." he said quietly.
"Hey I'm doing you people a favour!" Sedric said.

Serene winced as the energy left her body. Serene! Hold it together! don't be such a wuss! she scolded herself. Serene smiled. "It's good to know your okay..."
She then turned to the demon, fury rising in her eyes. "I will kill you. NO ONE messes with Princess Serene and gets away with it!" Just as she said that, she rose into the air and a blue light emitted from her body, penetrating the demon so that all that was left was a pile of ash. After the light faded away, Serene fell to the ground, panting.
"eh...heh...wow...that took more energy then I thought..." she said, laughing slowly, but breathlessly.
