((Mag since we missed my turn you wouldn't mind Themis's turn squeezing in before Kabutops, would ya? And OMG, I can't remember the hex code for my colour formatting. gonk )) This is bad. This is very bad... Keegan thought, frowning at the sight of the Swampert even though Fang had finally (and quite thourghouly) taken down the Farfetch'd. The Hoenn native was very familiar with the three starting Pokemon that Professor Birch gave to new trainers in his home region, and he figured it was just his luck that Anthony would have chosen the one that would give them the most trouble. Why couldn't it have been Treecko or Torchic? Hmm... I wonder how Jaeshan's egg is doing... He shrugged off the secondary thought, thinking perhaps of checking up on the egg's progress after the battle was over. He glanced over at his battling partner to take in her reaction, shaking his head a bit at Kasiya as she stared at Levi's future form. "It's a Swampert," he told her, perhaps a bit more sharply than he meant to. "It's a dual ground/water type, meaning it has only one weakness, and it's not very fast," he went on, keeping his voice low so that the two boys couldn't hear.
Themis, however, wasn't shaken by the large Pokemon he now faced, even though he was at a severe disadvantage. The fact that his attack had missed the Kabutops didn't bother him either - he sensed he was at a lower experience level that his opponent. The Swampert dug in its powerful forelegs and lifted a large mass of heavy muck into the air. Getting low to the ground, the speedy electric type braced himself for the attack, doing his best to try and dodge the barrage of mud coming down on him. He managed to avoid the heaviest of the sludge, but that didn't mean he went on unscathed. Bits of twigs and rocks had also been flung with the mud, and static electricity rippled through him as he struggled remain strong against the painful cuts and bruises that stung his body. Through the rain of mud falling down around him, he could see the Kabutops clearly, and grit his teeth. It had focused on Kasiya's Crobat, and he had a perfect opportunity. Throwing a glance over his shoulder, he looked his trainer in the eye and let the electricity flow through his body, letting another large, powerful bolt of lightning loose at the distracted Kabutops.
Keegan watched his Pokemon proudly, knowing that Themis was a smart Pokemon and often did things like this of his own free will. Perhaps it would throw Anthony and Dylan for a loop that the Manectric was rather good at thinking for himself in the heat of battle.

Jaeshan couldn't help but smile after the successful Rock Tomb, but he knew it wasn't time to be celebrating. As far as he could tell, the Swalot was still going strong, but Shelgon wasn't faring as well. The poison was steadily sapping her health, and there was no way she'd be able to hang on much longer.
Molasses readied another Sludge Bomb, and let it fly. Jaeshan clenched his fists together, and frowned. "Use Protect!" he called out hopefully, trying to save his Pokemon from further damage and perhaps eke out a few more turns. This wouldn't prove to be the case though. Shelgon was struggling to remain standing, let alone use any of her battle moves. A faint wisp of green surrounded her body for a split second, but vanished quicker than it had came, and the protective barrier failed to remain up long enough to shield the exhausted dragon from even a small part of the attack. The Sludge Bomb scored another direct hit, and that was it. A low, rumbling moan escaped Shelgon as her legs gave out beneath her and the whole ground shook as her full weight came down.
"Shelgon!" Jaeshan cried, running forward and dropping to his knees in front of the fallen Pokemon. Bits of sludge clung to the grassy ground and burned his skin painfully through his pant legs, but he didn't care. "That was a formidable effort," he told his Pokemon fondly, peering into her semi-conscious eyes. "I'm so proud of you, Shelgon." Shelgon let out a low whimper, and closed her eyes, glad to have her efforts acknowledged. Jaeshan recalled her then, clutching the Pokeball fondly as he made it back to his position. He looked over his shoulder, and smiled at Butterfree. He didn't even have to say anything as the Butterfly Pokemon flew up from her perch on the fallen log and took position in front of her trainer. Glad to have the good-natured butterfly back at his side, he nodded slowly, and looked up at the Swalot.
"Psybeam," he said quietly.

((>.< Sorry about that. Just tryin' to keep things moving))
Though things had seemed safe at the time they weren't quite what Kabutops had expected as a large bolt of electricity blasted through it's body and then into the soft ground. It was a painful blow even though Kabutops was a few levels higher than the Manetric. Luckily the Rain Dance had made it's way through the onslaught.

Crenu sat atop a random roof top. He contemplated his battle with Whitney and punched the tiles with great force and anger. The voice of a concerned and possible scared old woman cried out.
"Is someone there?"
Crenu remained silent, waiting for the woman who lived there to go back to whatever she was doing, though he didn't much care for her peace, he did want to avoid a scandalous commotion that was sure to erupt if the people walking by knew he wasn't suppose to be there. When he was sure she had shaken it away as the wind, he shifted around again and started to rub his knuckles which were bleeding a little.
"Damn..."
He sighed and whipped off the blood, laying on his back and staring up at the sky of Goldenrod. It was a bit annoying that every time he looked up, building of immense proportion loomed into his peripheral vision, obscuring an otherwise perfect view of the afternoon clouds. Why had he lost? His pokemon were strong, he calculated everything in his head as it happened, even planed ahead. He had a clear advantage in type against that Miltank, Larvitar should have dominated! But he didn't count on that strange cloud looking pokemon. It changed form with the weather, he had seen nothing like t before in his lie. None of the books he had read said anything about it, whatever it was, it was not from Johnto. Another thing was that troublesome attract, had Larvitar been able to fight off infatuation, he would have had it. Wouldn't he have? Could it have been that Whitney was holding back the whole time? No, of course not. He knew she had stronger pokemon in her reserve, but she had to be going all out with the ones she chose. Right? Well, it didn't matter. He had underestimated her, or miscalculated her pokemon as well as his own. Whatever the reason, he still lost. He was not strong enough to take her down, not yet anyway. More training had to be done. All these thoughts raced through Crenu's head as he lay there, then suddenly stopped as they came to one single thought that over took his mind.
"Ky...M.A.... Have you gotten any stronger? Heh, I'm sure she's taking care of him right now, not that he needs it." Crenu grinned, then closed his eyes. "Kid's got talent."
"Hello? I know someone is up there!"

Crenu let Poliwag out of his pokeball and leaned over to speak to him.
"Poliwag, I want you to go down there and distract the old broad whilst I escape. Now on you go."
He nudged Poliwag a bit forcefully and sent him rolling down the roof. As Poliwag fell, he looked at the ground in terror and started to shriek. Finally coming his senses, he shot a stream of water down at the ground and slowed his decent just enough so that he bounced a little when hit hit the ground. It wasn't a terrifying distance, but never the less, Poliwag was both scared and very angry. Crenu, on the other hand, was suppressing laughter as he climbed down along the house's gutter drain. It was rather noisy, and the gutter clanked around a lot, but the woman was transfixed on Poliwag as she had come out to see what the shrieking was about.
"Oh my, what was that commotion?"
She said in a tone that suggested concern for poliwag as he scampered about in front of her house fuming. Before she could come out of the house, Poliwag spotted Cren u sneaking off down the road and rocketed after him. Running out in front of him, Poliwag walked backwards hopping up and down and waving his tail wildly as he appeared to be scolding Crenu, who simply laughed deeply.
"Oh come now, you're alright aren't you? To be honest, I didn't think you'd gain your nerves quick enough to use water gun, but I'm sure you would have been fine anyway..."
This angered Poliwag even more, he had not even been sure that Poliwag would act as he did!? Without another sound Poliwag leaped back several feet in front of Crenu and planted his feet. A ball of blue energy appeared in front of his body and before Crenu knew it, an ice beam had been fired directly in his direction.
"Holy Shi-"
He dived out of the way, but the beam caught his leg and froze it solid, Crenu got up slowly and looked at the block of ice that had replaced his left leg. He started waving it wildly and finally fell back down again.
"Ah what the hell!? Was it that serious that you had to freeze me!?" Poliwag just turned to face the other direction and wagged his tail at Crenu. Rather angry himself now, Crenu recalled Poliwag to his ball and called out Larvitar instead. Much to hid dismay Larvitar started laughing the instant he saw Crenu's leg.
"Shut up and take care of it already!"
He said savagely, but Larvitar just looked at him defiantly and smirked, but nodded and walked up to Crenu's leg. He pulled back one fist and as it started to glow, plowed into the ice and shattering it to shards. He was careful not to hurt Crenu, but Crenu winced all the same. Crenu recalled larvitar and got up, brushing off the rest of the ice chunks that clung onto his pant leg. Crenu sighed, and headed through the city in the direction of the Ilex Forest.

((Haha Macks, Kilik is talking to Rebecca like an old lover hoping their former partner are still sexually impressive. XD)) After all that wondrous Pokemon Center healing malarkey, our hero Mike was set to, well, set out on another epic adventure! Only just one problem, he wasn't quite sure what was next on his metaphoric to do list. He felt and odd feeling, it was like he'd been away for months on end. Like, that 'away time' had somehow caused his mind to separate from the world he was in, and things suddenly felt unfamiliar. "Let's see," the boy thought out loud, pondering upon what he could do to distract himself from all this fantastic Maorde or however the hell you spelled his abstract and retarded name buisness. "Another Gym badge perhaps?" He tossed Portabello's Ultra Ball up and caught it. "Next would be Tate and Liza." He scrunched his face, feeling a large scale battle was not what he needed at the moment. "I need to unwind. Maybe buying a TM for one of my little buddies here, to reward them for being so awesome." He liked that. A little shopping would be something he could sink his teeth into. Besides, he had some money, why not spend it? Releasing Nitro and giving his ever faithful Charizard a pat on the head, Mike hopped on, only to feel his PokeNav vibrate. "Text message!" He shouted, eagerly flipping it open, smiling at Kilik's message.
Mike, I'm out. Call if anything comes up. -Kilik
"So am I!" He shouted, kicking the sides of his Pokemon cowboy style as Nitro shot up towards Hoenn.

Watching Johto fade away was almost therapeutic, nothing good seemed to happen there. It was certainly an odd feeling, kind of like it didn't even fully exist. He at least forgot about it many a time, maybe Kanto and Hoenn were just more memorable. He shrugged, philosophical thoughts made his head hurt. Mike leaned forward, resting his head on Nitro's warm neck. "You see, I just don't get how anyone can justify flying on anything other than a Fire Pokemon. The comfort gap between feathers and self heated scales is just, well, depressing really." His last few words were muffled by him burying his face in the Charizard's obscenely toasty body, slowly drifting into a light sleep.
It's like he knows me. Nitro thought with a smirk as he spread his wings into a gentle glide. The sun began to set as their mutual homeland of Hoenn rose up seemingly from the sea itself. A orange/purple glow filled the sky. The Pokemon smiled, the world could be so beautiful sometimes.

Now, Mike had gone to Lilycove before, but that was ages ago, when Nitro was just a little Charmander and Mike was a few years shy of his mid-teens. Now, one would assume he could just tell his Pokemon where to go, but Mike giving directions was about as useful as A legless Dodrio. I mean, sure, maybe it could hop on its stubs, but you wouldn't get anywhere fast, or at any type of desirable speed. "Better to just land and hoof it to Lilycove than possibly steer you to somewhere in Kanto." He hopped off of his 'noble steed' as they landed beside the Fortree Gym.
"You know," the shaggy brown haired boy commented. "Maybe I should get you a saddle. Then I could like, do more stuff while flying without worrying of plummeting to my doom." Mike had no less time to think before the Charizard answered with a whip of his tail, sending the boy into the dirt. "Okay, I deserved that." The boy said defeated, each word sending little clouds of dust into the air.
Amusingly enough, Nitro actually knew the route to Lilycove, just how he remembered that he was the only one who recalled any of the directions on their first journey spanning Hoenn. He could have easily tilted twenty five degrees and just take them directly there, but he wasn't about to reward his master for being stupid. Who knows, maybe Mike would have one of those random moments of luck and clairvoyance that he cockily passed off as 'in-born brilliance'. The very thought of his trainer's ego caused Nitro to chuckle a bit, snorting a little puff of black soot from his nose.
"What's so funny?" Mike replied, brushing his flame adorned jacked free of dust. "Let's get moving, I've got money to burn."
((For the record, one of my all time favorite things about Mike and Nitro's characters were that they always put themselves up one ring from each other in terms of ego but at the same time bash the other for being a smartass self-absorbed snob. XD))

How were things going to go from this moment on? Crenu could not think of any more training regimens for his pokemon that would provide the results he needed in so short a time. As the festival lingered in his mind, he wanted at least one more badge before going over seas. He could always go back and fight that bug guy, but he was determined to take Whitney down as she had done him. The only thing he could think of now was battling other pokemon, but this raised a problem. He could not have them battle each other for two reasons: Number one was that he hated uneven things. With only three pokemon, he could not battle them all evenly amongst each other, and uneven training such as that was simply unacceptable. The second being the most important, his pokemon knew each other and battling against each other would be of no real use. Wild pokemon were just as problematic due to the fact that they tended to be weak untrained, not to mention they didn't exactly appear on command. No, Crenu needed something else, a trainer or two to go up against. He wandered into the forest and within minuets was under the impression that night had fallen suddenly as the immense canopy made the forest floor devoid of all warmth and light from the afternoon sun that was shining above.
"I'm gonna need some eyes in the trees... Ariados, keep an eyes out and let me know if you find any trouble."
As he spoke, he tossed a pokeball p into the trees and in a flash of bright white light, Ariados took form and landed on a branch. She nodded and was off, disappearing into the thick branches and leaves, straying not to far from her master as he traveled along through the dark forest.

Keeping her senses open and alert, Ariados had traversed ahead through the trees leaving Crenu about three minuets behind. She was moving slowly, but at a quicker pace than her trainer whom, last she checked, was starting to find himself back in the familiar thickness of the forest he had gone through not long ago when they all ran from the gang of ghost pokemon that attacked for seemingly no reason. In about another minuet, she was going to scurry backwards through the trees to check on Crenu, but she was sure he would be fine even if she didn't. He had Larvitar as well as Poliwag, he wasn't going to need help anytime soon, but it wouldn't hurt to check. As her legs hooked into the branches and she walked along the canopy, she heard a noise up ahead. Doing as she was told, she went on ahead to make sure there was no danger, only to find herself looking down at a potentially familiar face. It appeared to be the girl that Crenu was traveling with a while back, only this time she was accompanied by some other human rather than the small boy with the Natu. Her suspicions were confirmed by the Houndour in her arms, though he appeared to be a little bigger than she remembered. These two new factors rose some doubt, so she would have to go in closer for a better look before reporting her find back to Crenu. Scurrying over to some branches that lay dead ahead of them, Ariados attached a fine thread of silk to a sturdy branch and let herself glide down silently, as was her tendency. Though she had forgotten that the last time she had seen M.A., she had still been a tiny little Spinarak instead of the big violet Ariados she was now.
Crenu on the other hand, was making his way through the forest hoping that Ariados would report to him soon with news of another trainer of a strong looking pokemon for him to battle. Heck, at this point he would have settled for the gang of ghosts that he had confronted earlier.

"I'll start off! Ludicolo, I want you to attack with your Hard Rock style!"The Pokemon's fist began to glow as he strummed an invisible guitar. Running that glowing hand over the brim of his hat, Ludicolo's head began to shimmer brightly. Kilik raised an eyebrow. This was new. The Pokemon ran forward and slammed headfirst into Murkrow's body.
The Pokemon didn't budge. Rebecca smiled and ran a hand through her hair. "Seems your dancer doesn't know his own type advantages. Murkrow, attack with Aerial Ace!" With a loud caw, the crow flapped his wings harshly, flying directly towards Ludicolo. When the duck-billed pineapple came close enough, Murkrow's wings began to glow.
Kilik was still a bit dazed from whatever attack it was his Pokemon decided to use. It was physical, that was for sure, but it had no effect whatsoever on Murkrow. He's a Dark-type, so that would make that move...a Psychic attack? Ludicolo let out a grunt of disapproval as he was sent spiraling to the dirt. The Pokemon slowly started to stand up, glaring up at the Murkrow. His own attack, something that just came into mind before anything else, failed. The attack came out of nowhere. The recesses of his mind seemed to scream the attack as if he had known it all along. "L-Ludicolo, use..." Kilik was unable to think at this point. The risk of him choosing the same new move without Kilik knowing exactly what it was was too great, "Remix style!" he called out.
"You're so cute with your 'styles'. Murkrow, attack with Aerial Ace again!" she barked, slicing the air with her hand. The bird flew up once more, then shot like a bullet down towards his foe. "Luuuuuudiiiii...." With fluid movements, Ludicolo's arms clamped shut together and a blue light began to surround his palms. The light grew brighter and brighter and a chill whipped in the air. His eyes squinted slightly to lock on to his target. "Get him now!" Rebecca commanded. "COLOOOO!" the creature cried, blasting the Ice Beam the moment Murkrow came into range.
"That's the way!!" Kilik laughed, punching the air. He would worry about the strange move later on. "Now attack with Remix style aga---" he paused. Ludicolo was on the ground, shaking and breathing heavily. Had Murkrow's attack connected? Sure enough, when he glanced at the sky, the bird was fluttering above with a smirk on it's beak.
"Ludicolo's aim was a bit off," Rebecca smiled, "Right as Murkrow was about to hit, he swerved to the left which caused Ice Beam...to miss!" The girl cackled at Kilik's shocked expression and sudden exclamation of 'What?!' "I'll prove right now that your victory in Celadon was just a fluke! Look at your Ludicolo!" she pointed at him, "Honestly! He beat me as a Lombre, what's the trouble now?"
There's more factors than just evolution, wench... he looked at the fallen Pokemon. "Ludicolo, if you can get up, now would be a REALLY good time to do it." He stood up shakily. Those Aerial Aces were too much. How could so much power be packed in that tiny creature? Size doesn't really matter. The pineapple clenched his fist tightly, and brought himself onto both feet. Sweat, or pure water rather, began to trickle out of his pores. He...this is it. Murkrow's got the upper hand. Neither of his moves have done a thing and twice now, Ludicolo's taken an Aerial Ace to the chest. Getting this to be a victory was looking quite grim at the moment.

It took no longer than a minute for Ky to regain his breath, and seeing how energetic Tora was, he made sure to keep up with her as best he could. Ray, not having a good laugh in a while, was in a much better mood now, and so followed with a smile on his face. It didn't take too long for M.A.'s Pokemon to find them, so in turn it wouldn't take that much longer to get back.
So, the two boys followed the better, human-suited trail that Tora provided, keeping at a fast, walking pace, and besides the constant shuffling noise they made as they brushed plants to the side, the forest remained as quiet as ever. That is, until Ray broke the silence.
"Ya know, I raised that Totodile from a baby," he said in a friendly tone.
"Yup, ya said that before," Ky said dully, still working his way forward without looking back.
Ray frowned a bit. He knew he wasn't at good terms with Ky, but without his brother around, it hurt not to be able to talk to someone. "There was a fire," he said softly, looking to the side. For a while, Ky said nothing, continuing to focus on Tora, but when he didn't hear Ray continue, an almost parental consciousness led him to stop, and as soon as Ray caught up, Ky began to walk with him, side-by-side.
"And so... what happened?" Ky asked honestly. Ray looked up and saw that Ky was smiling. And so the story started.
--
The Totodile turned abruptly at the Swablu's comment. "Oh am I?!" he growled. He eyed both Little Guy and Ulani carefully with his lone eye. It still wasn't worth fighting both of them. "Tsch. You guys are really annoying. I'll tell you an explanation, but I am not going to stop walking until I get to that house!" And with that, he continued at the same pace, a tad faster now that his attitude was heated. Not wanting to lose pace, Little Guy continued to glide over him.
"I was young at the time, so I don't remember much. All I know is that I lived with my trainer's family since I was born, and because I was the only Pokemon there, I was set as the 'guard dog,'" he explained bitterly. "So one day, while my trainer and his brother were off at school, a part of the house caught fire while I was asleep." The Totodile looked up to the sky and sighed; it was so hard to remember the details. "By the time I woke up, the fire was big, bigger than me, and I was too young to squirt water out of my mouth." Then, suddenly, the Totodile fired a Water Gun up ahead, tearing a muddy scar through the grass. "Tsch. Maybe if I coulda done that... well, anyway, I couldn't put out the fire, plain and simple. So, I ran out of the house." He kept at a pause to let the info sink in.
--
"Our house caught on fire when we were at school. When we came back, firemen put out most of the fire, but there was a lot of damage. Of course, I found out that my Totodile was okay, but when my dad came back, he was pissed, plain and simple," Ray explained.
"Well, I can understand tha..." Ky started before he was cut off by Ray shaking his head violently.
"No, you can't. When my dad gets angry, it sucks, plain and simple. He doesn't think right, he's usually drunk, and something from work always causes it. Now, though, he's coming home from work, but to add to that, he has half of a house. And now it's both me and my Totodile's fault!" Ray steamed. Ky didn't want to press on about what happened in detail, since it looked like Ray was on the verge of tears.
--
"So next thing I know, everything's being blamed on me, and I'm scared to death. My trainer's dad is doing all sorts of stuff, but I never watched. He'd hit both of them, over and over, and if they were lucky, it was just with his fists. I hid in the corner of some room, but before I knew it, I was called back into my ball, and then I wasn't let out for weeks..." the Totodile said, shuddering at the thought of how often he sat, starving as he waited in that Pokeball.
--
"I had to promise to my dad to throw him away, but I couldn't," Ray said, again holding his tears. "So I lied to him, went into my room, hid him in the closet, and faked going outside with an empty Pokeball. It worked, since my dad's pretty stupid, but I couldn't let my Totodile out anytime except the weekends, so all I could do was leave him. I didn't know what to do," he said, choking a bit on his words.
--
"I didn't know what was goin' on, but for some reason, I guess my trainer just hated me. I figured he was smarter than that, since he was the only one who knew I was too young to put out the fire, but I guess I was wrong. Lucky for me, he did let me out every once in a while, but it was always out near the forest, where he'd give me some food and water. He'd let me play around for a couple of hours, if I was even in the mood, but after that it was straight back into the Pokeball. He tried to smile while he did it, but it was way too fake. It was like he was forcing himself to take care of me," the Totodile said, trying to sound as tough as he could. But even so, it was hard for him to keep back the tears. All he wanted back then was to have someone who cared for him.
--
Ky didn't know what to say. "I had no idea..." was his lame response. "No one ever does," Ray sniffed. The two continued walking and following Tora, not really seeing any hint of M.A. or Niel. "So, I eventually raised up enough money to pay for the Day Care Center to take care of him," Ray continued. "I thought that after having him stay there for a couple of months, he'd be healthy and happy. But, when I came back to train him and start collecting badges, he's never wanted to fight and he's never wanted to listen to me. So, I guess that's why I don't like him anymore. Nothing's gunna work and nothing ever will," he finished with an undeniably pessimistic tone.
--
"Lucky for me, my trainer left me with the old couple after that. There, I was actually happy. I had plenty to eat, plenty of space, and best yet, I never had to even touch my Pokeball. I was there for quite a long time, to the point where I began to forget about my trainer, but just when I was beginning to hope he was never coming back, he did. With a happy look on his face, he acted like nothing ever happened and that it was perfectly okay for me to join his little Pokemon 'team.' Let's just say we haven't been friends ever since. So, you happy now?" he asked, directing the question to Ulani.

Anthony slapped a hand to his forehead as he watched the opportunity to attack a helpless Crobat fade away. "Well, at least he managed to dodge an electric attack," he thought. The speed of Keegan's Manectric was definitely impressive, but that only flustered him more, watching as his Pokemon's relatively slow attack did less than maximum damage. When Dylan called for the Rain Dance though, his hope returned. It was time to take that Crobat down before Dylan lost another Pokemon in this fight.
"Myu, use Muddy Water on the Crobat, now!" Anthony called. Just as disappointed as Anthony with his last attack, Myu didn't even hesitate. With the best speed he could muster, he dug both of his forelegs into the ground once again and brought up about half what he did before. He then held it up in line of fire of the Crobat, gathered some extra water from the rain, and from his mouth, blasted the mud upwards with much more strength than a fire hose. Hopefully the Crobat was still slowed a bit from the left-over mud.

Dual Ground/Water-type, Kasiya thought, still intrigued by the Swampert in general. Sure, it wasn't very fast, but she did admire its battle prowess, even as it lobbed mud all over the place. The Rain Dance quickly matted her hair to her forehead and cheeks, and her clothes clung to her in awkward and uncomfortable positions. She wouldn't let that bother her, though. Being inactive last turn meant that Fang had a bit of a speed advantage this round, and Kasiya looked once more at the Swampert before issuing her command. Too bad Rosemary wasn't stronger; she'd show this overgrown Mudkip a thing or two... she stopped at that thought, finally putting two and two together - Swampert must be a future evolution for Levi! The giant Swampert resembled the tiny Mudkip so much that she couldn't believe she didn't see it right away, and she made note to talk to Anthony after the battle to see what he thought of Levi and if he had any pointers to help Kasiya raise her. "Quickly, Fang! Toxic attack!" she called out, although she was aware that telling him to be quick about it was moot point. The shining green Crobat spread his wings wide (now washed clean due to the downpour of rain) and dived at his much slower opponent, narrowing his yellow eyes into a fierce glare as he began his speedy descent.
Anthony had been quick to issue an order of his own, and the next thing Kasiya knew a stream of mucky water was being fired at her Pokemon. Knowing far to well that Fang couldn't dodge it - not with the momentum he'd built up with his dive, she clenched her fist and called out to her faithful partner once more. "Keep going through it, Fang!"
The Crobat pulled his four wings in, preparing to hit the jet of water dead-on. The Pokemon disappeared into the brown, watery stream with a splash, fighting the current with all his strength. When the onslaught of water finally ended, Fang found himself nearly face to face with Myu. Reacting quickly, the green bat spread his wings and flung himself downward, using all four wings and his small, clawed feet to attempt to latch onto the underside of Myu's neck. His sharp, pointed teeth were bared, and glistened in the rain as he then thrust his head inward, ready to inject his victim with his highly toxic venom.

Now that both the native islanders busted out their hard-hitters. Keiichi's sketching was also brought up in intensity level. Although he had noticed that Ian had fallen, and he'd liked to help, but the battle and the participating Pokemons are just too great to miss even a single second. However, the rain dance came by close, almost wetting Keiichi's sketch book. Keiichi suddenly reached into his pocket and summoned the Pokemon that's inside the now enlarged ball. The purple slimy Pokemon changed its shape and formed a rubber wall on top of Keiichi, temporary saving his sketch book.
