Lily nuzzled his neck, breathing in his scent, and slowly the tension started to fade. With that, though, came a renewed surge of energy, and her entire body began to quiver.

"So what can we do about your condition?" Arlen asked noticing her growing restless again.

"No idea." Lily answered, squirming. Then she sighed and pulled away, starting to pace in front of the couch. "I have not one bloody clue."

Lily, who'd now begun to hop forward on on one foot, switching between left and right every few steps, shrugged. "Don't see how it could be, really."

"You can't sit still," Arlen said worried. "I don't know how you can get to sleep if you have that much energy without eating anything."

"I had an apple." she told him absently, continuing her motions. "And so far falling asleep hasn't been too much of a problem. Being with you really does calm me down, most of the time."

Lily hopped towards him backwards, not bothering to turn around. When she reached him, she turned to look in his eyes, blinking. "True."

Tomo walked in through the front door, a pair of ear phones in his ears as he listened to a handheld radio. He walked to the bar and glanced around before deciding to get himself a glass of water.

Lily gave Arlen a hug, going still for a moment as she did. Then she noticed Tomo, and her ears twitched, as did her nose. The teen bounded over to the man, tapping his shoulder lightly but urgently. "Mister Tomo!"
