::the creature stared, not revealing itself as of yet from the depths of the underbrush, but watched her from apparent safety. Ran would eventually find something very similar was watching him, never moving into the open, but staying covered::

::the elders looked at the students for a bit before one spoke to them::

It is a pleasure to be hosting such honorable people in our village. We apologize for any gruffness you received at the main gate.

~*~Desert:Jin~*~

::Jin would still be in the tent when the two eventually made their way in. She offered a short smile and made a motion to the table and the food near her, silently offering them a seat in the empty space around her::

~*~Forest:Selestria~*~

::the wolf could easily support Kaji's weight and would assist him to reaching the front gate without falling over::

::the large boar turned its eyes to the students::

The forest requires balance. All of life does. That balance was lost. Those who entered here destroyed it. But now the younger ones aim to fix that. Which is why I am here.

~*~Academy~*~

::Buki would appear to be sleeping when the two students walked in. Shizu would lift her head, checking them over with her intense canine eyes. The wolf would then rest her head back on her paws. After they had both seated themselves in the empty classroom, Buki opened one eye to look at them, yawning and stretching before opening the other eye::

So now they send me the sick and the pompous.

::her voice was flat. She stood, taking one more good stretch and then addressed the two students::

Students call me Buki-sensei. My classes are not easy nor short.

She blinks only once. Pompous..? She didn't think she seemed that way at all..her mother had always told her to announce herself thus. Still, this person was a teacher, and Haka was duty-bound by her family to accept what this person said, regardless of whether she agreed with it or not. She sighs softly..she should be used to it now, anyway. Her mother was no nicer than her new teacher, and at least coming from a stranger, it wouldn't really be so bad. Truthfully, Haka doesn't know whether she should answer or not..so she just says the safest thing as far as she knows..

"Yes, Buki-Sensei.."

Her voice a little smaller now..oh well. She didn't expect it to be easy...though she has no idea what actual training will be like. She only has her mother's training to go by as an example, and the family instructor.

arrow Selestria Mission

Kasushi noticed Kaji and the wolf come up beside him. "Well, right now the large boar in front of us is explaining why there is fighting going on in the first place. Then we are going to discuss a way to bring peace back to all of the villages." He smiled, and said to both Nakaji and Kaji. "It looks like our mission may almost be at an end."

A slight breeze turned Yoru's attention to an open hallway down the hall. He looked up at a lady sitting behind a desk, pondering if she had seen him or not. Taking small steps quick steps Yoru proceded to the door, unsure if he was allowed to go or not. A large pure water gourd was nestled on Yoru's back. He turned back to the attendant and then took off in a sprint down the hall following the breeze and turning into the room, not panting from the easy run, but would be unprepared for anything unexpected on the other side.

Haka blinks twice..this teacher confuses her. Oh well..she really isn't sure what's expected of her, so she stands, and bows slightly, as that's what she's been taught to do when speaking to a superior, before thinking..and giving the best answer she has..

"I am here officially because my mother is the Matron of our village. According to our village tradition, the female child born to the matron, who is a direct descendant of our Clan's founder, which displays the most natural talent with the ninja arts is to learn at the Konoha academy instead of just training in the village..this is so that the future matron may be there to represent the village, in political and ninja matters. According to village law, I am to remain here in Konoha until I have achieved a rank of at the least, Chuunin..or I will not be permitted to return home.."

She looks down then..a little forlorn..she speaks politely, almost formally, even in normal conversation. It's fairly obvious she's been trained that way. It's true that a Gakkuri Clan member in Konoha is a rarity. They're known for being anti-social, vaguely manic, and have typically a crazed hatred for males.

"I..I suppose the reason I am here unofficially, is to learn..and to grow. I want to bloom like the flowers our Clan cling to. I know if I do not recieve training and instruction outside of the ways of my mother, I will never truly blossom..she says I am a rebellious child at times because I do not agree with all of the old Clan ways. I am sorry if my explaination was too long, Buki-sensei."

One can almost feel a tiny hint of pride in her voice when she says that..as if she's proud to be individual despite the fact she's deathly afraid of her mother..which is pretty obvious as well. She resumes her seat after this.

Desert Town

Kuro was the first to enter, simply following his nose. It wasn't until he was in the shade that he opened his eyes.

"Oh... I was told you have a plan for this mission. I do have my own plans, but I believe it will only take me so far. Maybe you have details that will ensure sucess." Kuro's tone was overly formal for the situation.

((ANOTHER grass medical nin??? And a plant manipulator too -_-' Now Kuro's techniques are gonna have to be more unique than before crying ))

Akueki didn't bother addressing anyone as he entered the building. He glanced from side to side every few moments, but mainly kept his sight fixed forward, his footsteps as quiet as the slow breath sliding over his disguised smile.

"How cute. So this is where I learn to be a ninja? Ho ho..." Eki's finger's twitched, trying to hold in his eagerness, but his insects could still sense it, crawling over his hands excitedly. He made a fist as he turned toward a door, the insects crawlign back up his sleeve. His sunglasses just barely slipped down his nose as he glanced at Maizen, but made no actions other than that.

~*~Academy~*~
::Buki surpressed a sigh as two more students filtered into her room. She motioned for them to quickly take a seat. Shizu lifted her head, gave it a shake and then replaced it back onto her front paws, closing her eyes again as if bored with the entire situation::

::her eyes fell onto Maizen. She raised a brow a bit and then lowered it::

Since you already stated who you are, why don't you state to the rest of us why it is that you are here?

After being seated, Maizen tore his eyes away from the wolf just long enough to blink several times at Buki-sensei, incredulous. "M-me?" He cleared his throat a moment, remembering just why he came. "I... guess I'm here to see if I have what it takes to be a ninja. I'm studying to be a medical ninja..."
