He had to time this just right well not really he was probably going to to die anyway. The snake wheeled back to Kuroshika who seemed to just be standing there dumbly with his mouth open. The snake didn't even bother to smell him it simply darted out swallowing him whole wheeling back to the other three. It darted out trying to swallow lisolette whole only to stop mid lunge it's eye starting to glaze, what had stopped the huge beast? Poison, Kuroshika was exuding an aura of poison gas from his body, poisoning the snake from the inside. The snakes body began to swell expanding rapidly before exploding revealing a standing Kuroshika a whirlwind of slicing wind blades around him, a much different Kuroshika then before. That Kuroshika promptly passed out unconscious a glowing upside down V blazing on his back. The mark quickly faded bring up the question, what was that symbol? What did it mean, and when would Kuroshika stop fainting?

Sakazuki was on the verge of unleashing a blast of magical energy, but that was interrupted by a hiss of frustration as Kuroshika seemed to suddenly disappear into the maw of the serpent. That fool! She would've done more, but that momentary pause had caused her to lose track of her spell, the glow in her fist now fading from view... Not that she could've used it anyway. She feared striking Kuroshika if he were still alive somewhere within the snake's body. Yet, as it turned towards Lieselotte, she realized that the battle was not yet over, but just as sudden as it had lunged, it had come to a sudden stop.
A brow rose on the Circe's face before the body began to swell, causing the woman's eyes to widen before it suddenly exploded in a whirlwind of invisible blades and gore, leaving the witch standing there, shocked as she gazed at the symbol on his back.
What the hell... Had just happened?
===
As her gaze left Mei, Shuku realized that Honehime had fallen asleep, allowing a slight smile to spread across her face now. That smile however, quickly faded as a sound came from Mei... Words, more precisely. Spinach laser, active!...? What kind of dream was that girl having?! The woman was about to mentally ask this question again, but she remembered: dreams never made sense. Never. Ever. Ever.
Nightmares however... Always made sense.
Even if they were both generally the same thing, Shuku often classified them differently. Giving a faint sigh, she eventually turned her attention back to the fire as she closed her eyes for a moment, merely listening to the world around her.

 Honehime slept silently, virtually unmoving save for a very faint and barely noticeable rising and falling of her chest. If one didn't notice that, they would see her stillness and pale skin and think she had died. This was of course not the case, she was alive! But with so many thousands of hours spent meditating and focusing, her body and mind were disciplined enough to stay where she put them when falling asleep. She still had dreams, and she would generally remember them, especially when they were more than dreams. (12019 words + 92 words = 12111 words) Having just barely dodged the giant snake's attack, Lieselotte and Elfriede were about to try to attack again when the snake suddenly exploded. She hadn't seen Kuroshika get swallowed up by the snake, nor had she seen it expand from what Kuroshika had done inside of the serpent. But the results? She saw those. Felt them, too, as the force nearly knocked her on her rump. Turning to look more at the spattered gore of the enormous snake, she saw an unconscious Kuroshika laying face down, a faint light fading quickly from his back. She moved closer, to see if he was actually still alive or not. In the back of her mind, she wondered if a snake this big was still edible. Rather than having to kill another rabbit, they might as well make use of something that had already been gutted. (12231 words + 145 words = 12376 words) After speaking aloud, Mei had flopped back down, her chest stopping it's movement a few minutes after the rest of her had. A moment later, she laughed for a moment, and turned onto her side. It seemed that she was quite possibly more active when she was asleep than when she was awake. Quite odd, but considering her animalistic features, and utterly ditzy manner, something like that didn't really seem that out of place. Now, if she were to talk in her sleep and explain a complex quantum physics theorem, or perhaps disprove the theory of evolution, that would be irregular. But flopping around and saying nonsense? Merely par for the course, for our big breasted cow girl with a severe lack in concentration. Her general lack of attention spread to her dreams, as whatever possible non-reason there would have been to activate a spinach laser shifted into a dance hall, where all the dancers were... carrots! Yes, it seemed our likely still hungry cow girl had vegetables on the mind. (13536 words + 174 words = 13710 words)

Stepping amongst the clumps of flesh here and there, Sakazuki observed some of the meat closely once the moon had shined it's eerie light upon the area once more. Some of it still seemed fine... While others, mainly portions of certain organs were badly discolored.
Anatomy and dissection, thankfully, were helpful traits when it came to becoming a local apothecary.
Poison? She wondered silently, but allowed her attention to move from the snake parts to the unconscious boy on the floor. This was an interesting turn of events indeed... Still, to remain here and ponder exactly what went on would certainly prove hazardous. If this snake was out here, there was always the possibility that there was something larger. She soon moved to Kuroshika's side, taking the limp form into her arms before standing up.
"...Take what you can, Lieselotte. We'll see if we can use this meat."
To wait until daylight would be an utter waste.
===
The shuffling of movement behind her eventually caused Shuku to once again, look back to Mei. The fact that she was still on that transmuted mattress was the only question larger than what the hell the cowgirl was dreaming about. Watching as a blanket soon slid from it's proper place (having come off with the cowgirl's constant movements) Shuku gave a mild sigh than rose from her feet before she kneeled down to adjust the sheet of cloth over the cowgirl's body.
"...You'll catch a cold at this rate," she mumbled almost silently.

 Honehime slept, and in her sleep, she dreamed. Her dreams were often just beyond her understanding, just beyond anyone's understanding. But they were not nonsense, far from it. They were often visions, portents, prophecies. And it was the integral nature of prophecies that they could never be understood fully until it was too late. That was just how they worked. That, of course, didn't mean she wouldn't try to decipher them. (12111 words + 74 words = 12185 words) Lieselotte got up and dusted herself off before moving closer to Sakazuki. She watched as the Circe picked up Kuroshika to drag him back to camp. She had been told to take whatever she could from the carcass, in case they could actually use, or rather, eat, any of it. She was no butcher, but it beat having to hunt another rabbit. So she pulled out a pair of kunai and got to work, cutting off large pieces of snake flesh. Elfriede was nearby, ready to help bring the meat back to camp once it was time. (12376 words + 97 words = 12473 words) Mei was still deep within her bizarre and nonsensical dreams, which seemed intent upon making their presence felt in the real world. When Shuku moved closer and tried to fix Mei's leafy blanket, at first it seemed the cow girl would let her. But a moment later, just as Shuku was almost done, Mei launched her attack! With a loud, somewhat garbled cry of "Perspicacity!" she threw her arms wide and grabbed Shuku, pulling her close in a tight embrace. She would then proceed to hug Shuku tightly, holding her close as if she thought the Mayonaka was her long lost teddy bear. (She actually had a completely different stuffed animal companion, but that was a story best left for another time and place. Likely a place with copious amounts of liquor to get the listeners through and still sane.) (13710 words + 141 words = 13851 words)

Rather than head off with Kuroshika alone, Sakazuki stood nearby, the unconscious alchemist slung over her shoulder like the prize kill of some hunt. Though she had no desire to remain in this forest any longer than they could risk, to leave Lieselotte here alone would be a downright irresponsible decision. Thus, she would wait and allow the puppeteer to dirty her hands and drag along whatever portions of the carcass that she could.
Sakazuki would be able to examine them and check if they were edible at a later note.
===
Perspi-wha?!
Before the word even registered in Shuku's mind, the woman felt the cowgirl's arms reach around her in an almost back breaking squeeze. The act was so sudden, it actually managed to knock a bit of breath out of her as she gasped, one eye then closing as a wince appeared on her face. "M-Mei," she said suddenly, hoping that her voice would awake the cowgirl and thus make her let go... Yet, this position... It reminded her of what happened back in the words only hours previous.
It was then that Shuku began to wonder: did she really want Mei to release her...?

 Honehime's dreams were a bit beyond the ordinary, heavy on surrealism and the vaguest hints of the truth. It would take years upon years to begin to understand them, let alone understand them fully. Of course, that is precisely what Honehime had done. Even so, she was still a long way away from actually understanding things, she was still a mere novice at understanding dreams. At least hers, she had yet to try translating anyone else's. Perhaps that could lend her some insight? (12185 words + 85 words = 12270 words) Lieselotte had started cutting quickly, not worrying about being professional. Instead, she just did her best to get the maximum done in the quickest amount of time. In the end, she had several large chunks from the snake, and ready to be checked over by Sakazuki. Instead of clutching the bleeding flesh to her clothes, she had fashioned a tarp of sorts from the snake's skin and scales, and held that as she nodded to the Circe, before beginning to make her way back to camp. The rest of the snake would feed the wild animals, or rot, if it wasn't safe to eat. (12473 words + 106 words = 12579 words) Mei showed no sign of waking up at Shuku's words, instead cuddling up closer to the Mayonaka as she tried to get comfortable once more. The bed was very crowded now, now that two busty ladies were nearly entwined upon it. As it was, they were pressed together very close, enough that Shuku could feel quite a bit of Mei's body. Mei only smiled and snuggled again, before murmuring some random bit of nonsense, showing she was probably still in her dream world. "Perflibbinumpty..." Unless Shuku tried something a little more forceful, it seemed she'd be stuck for a while. At least the cow girl wasn't drooling. Yet, at any rate. (13851 words + 115 words = 13966 words)

Quote: "First day I see. And what might your name be young one," Questioned Tsuki Sensai. "I am Howard Lloyd of the Hidden Alchemy," Answered Lloyd. "Very well then, let us begin our lesson. We will be studying the Art of Substitution. Can you give me a description of the technique?" "Indeed, the user will substitute themself with a nearby object to prevent being struck. This move can turn the tables during a battle because it is so useful." "Good, now let us begin. Focus you chakra and disperse it evenly throughout your body, and picture a nearby object in your head. Perform the hand seals and....POOF!" Tsuki Sensai vanished in a cloud of smoke and left only a textbook in her place. Lloyd looked around and saw that his teacher was now behind him. "Now you try," Tsuki said confidently. Lloyd stood still and began to focus on the apple that lie upon Tsuki Sensai's desk. He performed the handseals and remained frozen in a position of attention. Tsuki waited for at most two minutes and the touched him to see if he was okay, and as her hand approached his shoulder, he vanished and left the apple where he stood. Tsuki's eyes widened with shock as to how fast this student learned the technique on his first try. She smiled and said,"Good now lets try again." Lloyd hopped onto his feet and smiled,"Of course Sensai." Lloyd performs the hand seals once more and smirks at his Instructor. Tsuki Sensai takes this as somewhat of a challenge. She withdraws three small marbles from her back left pocket and ask,"Ready?" She draws her hand high with the marble grasped, then gets into the motion of flicking it. "Here goes!" Tsuki flings the marble at her student and as soon as she does he vanishes and she sees a marble headed for her! Lloyd had used the substitution jutsu on Tsuki Sensai. POP! The marble struck Tsuki directly in the middle of her forehead; she rubbed her head and then looked around for the boy. Lloyd was standing there with his hands down by his side and proclaimed," Hmph, better than I thought myself. You actually caught me by suprise and because you were the thing I was focused on at the time, I used you as the substitute. Once more?" Lloyd smiled and squinted his eyes. "Alright, last time. You pretty much got it,"said Tsuki. This time Lloyd stood there and made the "come on" gesture with his hands and smiled. Tsuki Sensai took the as an insult and grew infuriated. She hurled the remaining marbles in her palm for the golden haired boy, but this time he substituted himself for a marble itself. "Incredible," Tsuki thought, "How could someone learn techniques at such a rapid pace?" Lloyd stood next to her at this point with a bored expression on his face. "May we move on now," he questioned,"I am getting bored of this." "Actually, you are all done her Howard Lloyd. So, move on." Tsuki answered. Lloyd laughed and walked out of the class room with no hesitation. "See ya!"

Once Lieselotte had all she could carry, Sakazuki finally turned starting back to camp. With their added weight in tow, the return trip would certainly take time... Yet, the Circe was not quite as paranoid as she was before. The fact remained however, that scavengers would come to feast upon whatever meat they had not yet gathered, so to dilly dally in the area any longer would be akin to suicide.
Yet, she had something on her mind... Something that robbed her of such worry.
"...What the hell did he do back there, Lieselotte?"
Evidently she was speaking of Kuroshika's act of killing the snake.
===
If Shuku's chest had kept it's normal size, this might not have been a problem, but with Mei's milk finally working it's magic, this position was almost suffocating for the woman. Yet, she was not mad... And aside from the lack of air, she was actually quite comfortable. She slowly looked down, whispering the cowgirl's name again, only to earn little response. Yet, the longer she gazed down at Mei's sleeping face, the more she was reminded of their incident in the bushes...
Those pleasurable moments...
Before the Mayonaka realized it, her face was only an inch away from the cowgirl's... Then, without a word, she suddenly filled the gap, her lips pressing innocently to Mei's in a kiss.
Besides, if words wouldn't wake her, she highly doubted a simple brushing of the lips would.

 Honehime's dreams this time were even more vague and limited than usual, a fact she would likely spend quite a bit of time ruminating upon once she awoke. As for the moment, she was not in the position to do much of anything, as she was asleep. Lucid dreams and visions seemed mutually exclusive, she had yet to find herself aware that she was dreaming during a dream that was more than a dream. As confusing as that idea was, it was even more confusing how the difference between the types of dreams were able to stop such a simple act of training. (12270 words + 104 words = 12374 words) Lieselotte followed Sakazuki back to camp, hoping that the Circe knew the way. During the fight, she had gotten a little confused as to the direction of said camp. As she walked, she had Elfriede help carry the weight of the meat they had carved from the snake's corpse. With that much blood, the scent would travel for quite a distance, drawing every hungry carrion feeder, even some predators, to the feast set for them. Assuming the poison wasn't too enmeshed within the meat. When Sakazuki asked aloud what it was that Kuroshika had done, she had to think for a moment. "I am not positive, but it would seem a cutting wind of some kind, as well as somezing using ze air or a gas." (12579 words + 128 words = 12707 words) Mei continued to sleep, hugging tightly to her newly found bed mate. The proximity of the Mayonaka made her chest squish against the older woman's, but she was used to things like that, so her breathing wasn't affected too badly. When Shuku suddenly inclined her head closer and kissed her, Mei muttered happily for a moment, but didn't appear to have noticed. She just kept her arms wrapped 'round Shuku, seemingly intent upon not letting her go for anything. Her tail swished happily, thumping every so often against the mattress. She murmured again before seeming to calm down a little, her breathing returning to a relatively slower rhythm, and her mutterings dwindling back a little as she was likely transiting between different dreams. Though it was very likely the new one would be just as bizarre and crazy as the last. Probably even more so. (13966 words + 148 words = 14114 words)

Cutting wind, huh?
Was that a type of alchemy too? While chemistry and a few other things was something that Sakazuki was a little familiar with, this hybrid of science and magic that this man and Mei seemed to wield was something that was rather foreign to her in a sense... Or at least, it's full extents were unknown to her. And that, to the witch, was quite troublesome.
"Wind and gas? Sounds like they'd contradict in any normal situation..."
But with normal situations, there never really was such a thing as 'normal' was there?
===
At the mutter, Shuku's head nearly jerked backward, startled by the sudden movement of lips. However, the cowgirl's arms kept her from straying too far. Feeling her chest pressed comfortably against Mei's, the Mayonaka soon realized that she was able to breath. Whether or not she had merely shifted into another position or she had merely adapted to this position, the woman now felt a faint bit of air flow in and out of her with every breath.
Yet... Shuku now found it hard to decide where to put her efforts next?
Escaping... or... something else?

Ban sat on the boat to the academy in complete silence. There were excited little ninja laughing and jumping around every where, but he for one would not take part in it. He was a menace. He was a killer. He was many things but a cheerful youth he wasnt. He looked at the absent minded children running into walls and each other and wondered how any one ever called him a terror. This was the deffinition of a nightmare, a hour's ride from Hidden Cloud to the academy. He was however stuck for another ten minutes before he arrived at his destination. He wasn't sure at this time if he could make it. He had taken many blows and other forms of tourture but this was the most extreme he had ever had to deal with. He gripped his teeth together and his jaw muscles flexed. A kid happened to run past him, the kid chasing him slipped and fell. Ban looked around in less than a second and deemed no one was looking and in one movement snatched the child, broke his neck and tossed him over board. The dull splash was masked by the roar of fun emitted by the youth on board. The kid Ban's victim was chasing turned to look and see how far ahead he was. His partner absent, the child began to cry. Ban smiled and leaned back. Now that was music to his ears. The tears of a child where the only thing that should be heard of them. He closed his eyes and tried to nab some sleep.
He was woken by the horn of the boat as the arrived at the shinobi academy. Ban stepped off the wooden transport and took his first step into the amazing world of the ninja. He waled throught the enormous gates and entered the academy, where he could begin his learnings in the way of a ninja. He of course would use these skills to kill people, however he needed to be under cover just a little more. Once out of the academy he would drop the nice kid cover and become a missing ninja like he was destined to be. He would never use ninjitsu like most of the ninja here though, he was a taijutsu user. His chakara worked fine, but he thought that taijutsu was the back bone of the ninja world, the true dirt and grits of killing. He liked the physical power and the rush it gave him to actually kill his enemy with his bare hands instead of shooting or using some tool to dispose of them. Besides the ninja who use all that are weak and lazy. He however was in perfect shape and walked with an aura of power. He could snap bones in seconds and scale walls with out the aid of jutsu. He was the omega the supreme, he was Ban. Even his name, Ban, meant Final. He was the last challenge a ninja would face before they were graced with the after life. He walked now, emitting the powerful aura and smiled as ninja near by took a second glance at him. He was eighteen, a little late for ninja to be learning, but he cared not. He wouldn't be here for that long being older only meant he had much more control over his body and chakara than the little children here.
He entered the Dojo that was located behind the main school. There was a ring, which held two ninja fighting. He watched as they used clones and subsitutions to get out of tight squeezes. The ninja who was bigger naturally won and smiled to the crowd. Ban entered the ring and took a fighting stance. He started to do hand seals as Ban made his quick approach. He was on him as two bunshins appeared. The crowd watched as Ban Grabbed the middle ninja, who he knew was the real one, and threw him to the ground. The clone then ran to the fallen ninja and stood facing Ban. The ninja got up and the clones ran towards Ban. He walked right through them. "Silly ninja, your illusions do naught to me." He then landed a hay maker to the ninja who poofed to a log. He heard the feet shuffle behind him and shot his arm backwards. His fist closed on the boy's collar. He pulled the body to the floor and pinned his arms with his knees while he slapped his face a few times. If he wasn't at the school, he would have pummled the child's face. How ever he decided to torment him instead with the annoying slaps. The child began to yell uncle and Ban let him up smiling. He then pushed his way threw the crowd and left the dojo, upset with the compettion.
He walked near a river where young ninja were trying to walk across the water with the use of their chakara. Now besides jutsu, this skill to Ban looked useful. He noted how they focused chakara to their feet and simply walked. He already learned it, with out trying it. Such was an advantage to being much older than the adolesants. He continued to walk past the lake and entered a forest with a clearing juts ahead of the path he walked on. Many more young ninja were running up trees trying to pin a kunai in the approriate hugh they could get to. This looked just like the water walking skill and Ban noted how this one was done aswell, knowing he could out do the little ninja in their kunai placing games. He then began to walk back the same path and past the water walking lake to the main building again. He entered and there was a table where a ninja must sign in to say that they've been to ninja school before. Thinking that he mostly got the idea of two techniques, Ban signed his name and turned to leave the god forsaken building behind him. The little annoying children wasn't his thing anyways. He wanted body building and fighting techniques. He now knew how to walk on water and off the ground, two new battle fields where he could reek havoc.
He was on his way out when a teacher ran up to him. "I didn't see you preform the water walking or tree climbing ability. To leave, you must do them both." Ban looked angered but nodded, following the teacher as he led him to a body of water that he could show off his talents on. After Water walking was complete, he was taken to a forest. He ran up and tree and half way up, decided on a chancy option. He kicked off the tree and back flipped, landing behind the instructor. He turned around smiling that the student preformed the techniques well. Instead he say a fist. He dodged Ban's first attempt and jumped back. Before he hit the ground again, Ban was on him, delivering another flurry of blows. The instructor blocked a few but took the blunt of a few of them. Ban then tackled the man and pinned his arms like he did the student at the dojo. He placed a hand over his mouth. The man began to kick Ban's back, but he just took the blows. His left over hand, delivered a swift punch to the man's throat, collapsing his esophgause. He gurgled a few times, but Ban knew it was over. He got off his prey and laughed. "Trying to stop me from leaving? HA. That was the worst mistake of your life..." Ban then came back to the Gates, that he just hours ago walked into through. He left, bording the boat for hidden Arts, the Taijutsu hub of the world.

 Honehime's dream continued, showing no sign of abating anytime soon. Then again, dreams never gave any clue to anything about themselves. Whether it be when the dream would end, or when it would begin, or even what bits of truth would be hidden within the dream itself. That was just how they worked, and there was nothing to be done about it. Instead, what could be affected was a vague bit of direction for the dream, although that would generally have to be done before going to sleep. Generally by meditating and concentrating on a certain question or predicament. (12374 words + 100 words = 12474 words) "You would zink so, but zen again, odder zings have happened." Lieselotte didn't bother questioning things that seemed to be facts. That's not to say that she was gullible, or particularly weak to illusions and Genjutsu. It just meant she was practical. If she saw something and knew it to be true, she wouldn't spend much time pondering why it was true. The question could certainly have an intriguing answer, but that was firmly in the realm of what ifs. And as such, it had very little to do with her chosen vocation. She would leave the thinking to the philosophers. (12707 words + 104 words = 12811 words) As she slept, Mei stayed quiet and relatively calm for a long moment, a rare occurrence. She was no closer to being awoken than before, and she still showed no sign of releasing Shuku, or of being aware of the turmoil that she was putting the Mayonaka through. Instead, she was completely oblivious, set deep within the void that lurked between dreams. This void seemed to last forever, yet at the same time, only a second, time didn't seem to have meaning in it. Already, the void was gone, just like that. No gradual fading, or rather brightening, but it was simply there one moment, and then gone the next. Now she was back in her curious dreams. This time, she was carefully lining up dominoes, putting one down after another, and another, and another. She seemed to be in a Western styled house's study, burgundy carpet underneath her, the soft sound of a crackling fire in the fireplace, and a large desk looming a short distance behind her. As well, she looked much younger than she was, likely no older than six. Yet she still had her cow features, save the prominent chest. That was an oddity, she hadn't become this way until later in life then that. Then again, when did dreams ever have to follow the past faithfully? (14114 words + 224 words = 14338 words)

Sakazuki gave only a grunt in response. It wasn't that she had no desire to know the true answer, she was merely too tired to keep up this conversation any longer. Yes, she could handle an adventure, and yes she could remain awake for hours, no matter how hefty a meal she had consumed... Yet, fighting off a giant snake and hauling an unconscious body back to camp (which she, honestly, had no idea where it's current location was at this point) certainly was enough to allow fatigue to set in...
She needed... Some magical adrenaline filled potion... Even coffee would suffice at this point.
===
As Mei calmed, Shuku was fell into a state of concern. Had her exciting dreams ceased to exist? Or was their something else on the cowgirl's mind? Something along more... More... Mellow, terms? The woman rose a brow as she thought on this matter. It was evident that the cause really wasn't anything along the lines of Mei waking up? Perhaps she would remain like this if Shuku were to attempt her escape? While she very much wished to remain, she was suddenly reminded of the fact that if the others were to return from their little skirmish into the woods and found her like this, it would be rather... Awkward.
And so, her wriggling began once more as she attempted to break free of the sleeping girl's embrace.

 Honehime took to her dreams with a practiced ease. Even if she wasn't in conscious control of them, at some level, she was aware enough to take part in them. So she simply did as the dreams dictated, following the flow of the unconscious images' script. It never made a lot of sense, and that was what she would have to dwell upon on the morrow. For now, she was throwing her entire self into her dreams in a nearly zenlike example of detachment. She might not always remember them all upon awakening, but if she devoted this much effort to playing her role, she would remember enough. (12474 words + 110 words = 12584 words) Sensing the slight change in Sakazuki's body language, and judging by her rather gruff reply, it seemed Sakazuki was beginning to tire. Not that it was surprising, after all they had done today, and now having to carry around Kuroshika.
