..Anywhere?

Tea shifted, dark eyes flickering slightly as he inched carefully into the office. Hey, it was his first time here; he could afford to be careful, after all. It just won't do if he went and died in here, not when he was so close to finishing his internship, no-- His shoes scuffed the floor with a soft scraping noise as he kicked -- yes, kicked away the trailing blue smoky fog thing. It was trying to crawl up his pants, seriously it was. The assistant eyed the fog warily, daring it to come back. God, was anything in this place normal?

The best option for him was to just dump Yamagawa -- stupidstupidthing heknewitwasTea -- and the pink thing and.. and just go. Out of the creepyhot office with the the bleeding, scary and--and stoned looking Kiba-san and the blue-teal-green smoke thing that just tried to molest him and..

Ignoring the half-coherent mumbling of the redhead slumped over his shoulder -- Shut up -- Tea took a deep breath, almost choking on the weirdstrangegross fumes that tasted vaguely like burnt rubber inside his mouth -- did something explode in here? -- eyes sweeping around the office in a vaguely annoyed but disinterested way -- he wasn't here to snoop, just dump this thing and go -- for any sort of appropriate place for him to put Yamagawa down. Like a dumpster, for example. Or a vat of sickly material. Or -- he had to sigh to himself, just a little -- a chair of some sort.

Yamagawa's head rolled limply sideways slightly, the red locks tumbled over his forehead as the other male dropped him onto a vaguely clean sort of chair with no sort of ceremony whatsoever. He wasn't.. They.. I.. What.. "...where..?" The answer came to him in the form of a bursting breath of hot air and the redhead's lungs instantly wilted and died, causing him to let out a feeble, half-conscious sort of cough. ...Ah. It was Kiba-san's office. Then.. It was okay, right? Because it was Kiba-san's office and Yamagawa always kindofsomewhatmaybe felt good in Kiba-san's office, even though it was reallyreallyhot and it made Chou almost die..

Chou inched his way in after Tea-san, not really wanting to because it was hot and remember what happened last time they were here, and then Kiba-san had been okay, not this creepy totally-out-of-it look, but he kind of hand to come in because Kiba-san had said so...

Carefully hugging the wall/cabinet area and pointedly avoiding the creepy bluesmokeything that was attatching to Tea-san's legs --or trying to, if Tea-san was't kicking it away-- he shuffled his way over to the window. B-because...because if he didn't open the window, he'd...like...die because it was so hot in here and that would just be baaad andandand...

The feel of cooler air touching his skin made Kiba shudder slightly, and he glanced over to where Chou-chan was completeling the act of opening the window, and normally he would have told off anyone who disturbed the balance set in the room, but it was Chou-chan who had almost died before and Yamagawa liked Chou-chan --a fact which he, even drugged, greatly resented-- and even if Yamagawa wouldn't be sad if Chou-chan died, there was definately something different about the way Yamagawa reacted to Chou-chan, so Kiba would just hold off on jealoudly murdering Chou-chan.

This time he did sigh, tongue flicking out to lap at his lower lip as he crouched down and stuck his head in another cabinet. Why should it matter if Yamagawa liked Chou-chan better? It wasn't like Yamagawa liked Kiba as anything more than a collegue, so why should he be so bothered that Yamagawa had finally picked an experiment he liked? Most scientists and doctors here did that. Kiba was an exception, because Kiba rarely worked with the experiments, and Yamagawa had been because...well, no one really knew why, but Yamagawa hadn't had a favorite but now he did and it was Chou-chan who was pink and pretty and small and...and everything that Kiba wasn't so it just made sense.

Grabbing on of the many multi-colored vials from the cabinet, the emerald-haired man jerked upright --or tried to, stopped by the sudden appearance of the top of the cabinet he had forgotten was there. Letting out an oath, he pulled out the correct way, resisting the urge to rub his head, because his free hand was his hurt hand and rubbing his head would just...well, hurt.

Still lookingfeelingprettymuchbeing stoned, he slithered over to where Yamagawa sat. "Drink this," he ordered, shoving the vial into the redhead's hands. It contained something that smelled like hot sauce, looked like hot sauce, had the consistancy of hot sauce, but was, surprisingly, not hot sauce. Truthfully, Kiba wasn't quite sure what it was, but it did a damn good job of waking a person up. Hell, he might even drink some after, just to dispell some of the heaviness in his head.

Yamagawa looked down blearily at his hands where a vial of something suddenly materialized out of nowhere. Well, not quite nowhere, since.. since he was in Kiba-san's office and.. even though that was only a tiny portion of his head that knew that he was in Kiba-san's office, the rest of Yamagawa's body kind of just knew because it was warm and heh, wasn't it kind of really strange because.. because normally he just felt hot in Kiba-san's office but now it was just warm and pleasant and.. and it smelt like hot sauce. The redhead realised this at the precise moment that a gulp of that liquid when down his throat, and he couldn't help the gag reflex that rose out of him, and--

"Goddammit, Yamagawa!" Tea swore angrily, stepping back a step away from the redhead a hand swatting and attempting to push off Yamagawa's hand which, due to the happenchance of closest person available being Tea, had grabbed onto the front of his shirt and was now steadfastily refusing to let go. Dammit, dammitdammitalltohell! He had just washed this shirt and it was his nicest and why did he wear it todaaay..? Now it had Yamagawa all over it and it was gross and he touched his shirt....!

His cheeks flushed, -- but more from anger than anything else; you couldn't really tell with his skin tone, at any rate -- the dark haired male stepped back, finally succeeding in effectively removing Yamagawa's grip from his persons and.. and he could still feel the deathgrip on his shirt and now he had Yamagawa all over him and he needed a shower right now.

"Just.. drink the damn thing and.. and.." And stop touching. me was the rest of Tea's retort, but he swallowed it back and instead just fumed silently. Today was not his good day. It wasn't even his normal day. It was waaaaay lower to the bottom of hell of his worstest days, even. Now he was hot, angry, annoyed, suffocating, and..and had Yamagawa all over his shirt.. and..

It was just too much for Tea's normally calm cold collected self to handle. And if it couldn't handle it, he usually got a more -- mind you, only a little -- irritable self take over. This didn't really happen often, but.. today wasn't his day.

So he just grabbed the rest of the medicine-liquid-sauce-thing and clamped his hand over the redhead's nose, tilting his head back as the assistant almost force-fed Yamagawa. Tea wasn't quite sure what it was, but it felt sticky and weird on his shirt and it was gross and obviously Yamagawa thought that was gross too so he deserved to drink all that--

Yamagawa's reaction to the hot-saucy potion wasn't unusual. Kiba had seen many an experiment do the exact same thing --though this was the first time someone had thrown up on someone else-- and even Kiba had a similar reaction to the stuff, though he was much better at not tossing his food, maybe because he was normally fully conscious when he took the stuff and only used it as a wake-up when he couldn't get any coffee. So he totally understood Yamagawa's reaction.

He was just glad he hadn't been in the assisstant's place.

Blearily, he leaned against the counter, feeling the edge jut into his hip and not caring one whit. He had to say this for the nasty smokey potion; even though it was doing its damnedest to molest him and just totally take him over, he really wasn't caring. Ignoring the muffled sputterings as the assisstant shoved the potion down Yamagawa's throat, Kiba let his eyes wander, trailing over to where Chou-chan nervously lingered by the doorway.

The faerie looked muchly like he'd rather be anywhere but here --probably because of the heat. And he was --waitaminnit, that glitter was Chou's? The glitter had been freaking everywhere! And...and it was the faerie's?

That was just depressing. Not only did Yamagawa better like the small-cute-pink-faerie Chou-chan, but Chou-chan glittered, which was sparkly and shiny too. Two more points to add to the list of things Chou-chan had over Kiba.

How...completely depressing...

A thought had crossed his mind that, since none of the other two -- meaning Kiba-san and the pink experiment thing -- was paying attention, he could probably shove the vial down Yamagawa's throat too 'accidentally' along with the faux-hot sauce-potion thing. But.. but the pink thing was just small and pink and glittery and.. and Kiba-san was just as out of it as Yamagawa was --or seemed to be-- and seriously, were they part of a drug dealing net or something? -- so.. if he shoved the thing down Yamagawa's throat, then..

But Tea only gave a small annoyed 'hmph' and a soft muttered curse, none-too-gently dropping the redhead's head back and propping the now empty vial back onto the first flat stable surface that caught his eye -- atop some piles of papers; will be okay, right? --. Now, was his proper assistant-y duty to the higher-ups -- even despite the fact that Yamagawa didn't so totally deserve the said treatment -- done now? Done? Because his shirt felt clingy and icky and.. and smelt like hot sauce and it was Yamagawa which made the whole entire being-thrown-up-on episode a hundred thousand times worse..

"---Well," Tea said to the hothotstuffyfoggy air, seeing that nobody was really paying attention to him at all anyway. He was just an assistant, after all. "I'm leaving now. Don't bother seeing me out." After the anger venting and nearly choking Yamagawa thing, at least some of the stress was out of his system. He felt slightly better. Of course, that won't completely dissipate until he went back, took a shower, and got changed into a completely total new clothes and not the ones that touched Yamagawa..

Muttering under his breath and giving the redhead another darkish annoyed glare from under the curly bangs, Tea turned around and walked swiftly out, past the pink experiment thing, trying his very damndest to not to run. Because Tea never ran, no matter how busy he was.
PostPosted: Tue Oct 03, 2006 6:35 pm

Chou watched Tea-san stalk out of the room --resisting the urge to cringe as the muchmuchmuch taller man walked past him-- then looked over at Yamagawa-sama, who had been forced to eat the yucky redish stuff, which Chou knew was yucky because Yamagawa-sama hadn't liked it and had spat it up.

Cautiously, he moved away from the nicecoolair by the window and shuffled over to where Yamagawa-sama sat. "..." He swallowed, wringing his hands together, totally muchly worried because he had broken Yamagawa-sama and wanted Yamagawa-sama fixed and didn't know if he was because the red stuff was icky and Kiba-san looked funny and... "Are you better now?"

Once more, that burning jealousy rose up in his throat, and it was stupid because Chou-chan hadn't done anything wrong and wasn't doing anything wrong and it wasn't Chou-chan's fault and it just wasn't fair. Because he knew if he showed undue concern for Yamagawa, he'd get a funny look because he never cared, and usually had a totally caustic tone when he was talking to Yamagawa, so it wasn't fair that Chou-chan could be so concerned...

Gritting his teeth together, he turned, needlessly shuffing random papers and ignoring the biting sting of the glass in his hand --which was still blue and it was annoying but he couldn't get it out...

"If you're quite done here, will you leave?" he asked, tone utterly flat, instead of it's normal sharp pokey-ness he affected with Yamagawa. He could always blame it on the smoke, which was fuzzing his mind and making it much much harder to feel anything than normal and it was nice because if he kept being so jealous he might do something baaad to Chou-chan, which he didn't want to do because Chou-chan was Yamagwa's favorite and...he just...wanted to not feel...

Yamagawa coughed wetly, shoulders shaking slightly as he he brought a hand to his eyes. That was.. that tasted worse than the cheapest crappiest of all beers, all icky and thick and.. and worse because he could now taste his own stomach acid and it really wasn't wasn't good.. Resisting the tight clenching in his stomach as it protested such violent mix of tastes, the redhead slipped his glasses off his nose, pressing the palm of his hand against a closed eye. It took a while for him to register Chou-chan's presence beside him, and blinked rather owlishly, turning his blurry vision to a.. a blob of pink that he assumed was Chou.

"I--" He still felt-- felt what? He still felt slightly dizzy and unstable and shaky and--and just so incredibly tired because the veil wraps were still much much too thin and it wasn't holding properly.. Quite stuck for words -- again, that hadn't happened much to him before. It was all the blackblackdarkholesuckingstare's fault but that was other Chou doing it and even though it wasn't Chou it was still Chou so Yamagawa couldn't really blame it because.. because it was Chou..

The slightly unfocused green eyes flickered, taking in his surroundings; somewhere behind the pink blob, there was something that caught his eyes. A blur of green and white that.. that looked... The redhead opened his mouth, but had to stop and gulp slightly before starting. That potion-evil-liquid burned. "--Kiba-san?"

((Woo havn't posted for murdoch in awhile X3))

The machines beeped, monitoring Murdoch's steady heartbeat. The mutant lay strapped to the metal table. A blindfold was tied around his eyes, and many different IVs were in his body, different liquids in each flowing into his body. A small respirator rested on his nose to help his breathing. His fingers twitched every once in awhile, one of the few signs he showed of life. A young assistant came by to examine him every few hours, injecting him with different medications, most to keep him calm so he wouldn't break the straps holding him down.

"Time for your hourly medicine, Murdoch," the assistant said lightly looking down at the mutant's body. Murdoch simply lay there before finally opening his mouth to speak, "Why won't you let me die? I would be happier that way.." The assistant sighed and crossed his arms, "You're one of the first experiments here who has gone through a huge change and hasn't died, we need you alive especially because of your black blood." He took the needle filled with the clear liquid, quickly stabbing the mutant's arm and injecting the medication.

"Well, that's all, I'll be back in a few more hours with your food alright? And please eat this time, you know I don't like injecting you with the nutrients...it's easier if you eat," he said leaving Murdoch alone once again. The mutant lay there, breathing softly, wishing he could take the blindfold off so he could see once again. Sighing dejectedly, he untensed his body as he went into a state of semi-conciousness, an effect of the medicine.

Good. The potion worked. Yamagawa was at least awake and coherant, much more than he had been coming in. Now he could leave, and take the fluttery pinkness of Chou-chan away with him, because Kiba didn't...like the way Chou-chan was making him feel, because they weren't good feelings and he hated them and just...wanted them to stop...

He half turned, peering at Yamagawa through the corner of one eye. Yamagawa still looked like crap, but he probably looked the same, so it wasn't like he could say anything. "You're awake. Good. Now leave." It was sharp, blunt, and...dead. He just...wanted to stop. Feeling, seeing those two, just...stop. So...they had to leave now.

Turning back to the counter, he squared the papers off, still ignoring the pain the glass shot up his hand. Worse come to worse, he'd take a knife and cut the shard out or something. Just...if he pretended to be busy he could focus on that and not have to look at Yamagawa and feel because feeling...he didn't want to do it and he just wanted it to stop hurting so...they had to leave...

Chou immediately started towards the door at the command, then stopped when he realized that it wasn't meant towards him, but towards Yamagawa. Perplexed, he looked at Kiba-san, then over at Yamagawa-sama. Kiba-san was acting funny, and Yamagawa-sama just seemed...reallyreallyreally out of it. He...he didn't know what to do because he wanted to help Yamagawa-sama but he didn't know how, and he kindofmaybe wanted to help Kiba-san but Kiba-san seemed mad and wanted them to leave and...he didn't know...

The redhead's eyes flickered, the green depths wavering but betraying only very little of the sudden shift of.. of the atmosphere, as it darkened slightly in colour. The.. It.. He.. Them.. There was that thing again. The.. the wall, the thing that loomed so high above darkcoldhardcoldness and threateningly ominously silent. And.. And it was different. It was colder and thicker and..

It was always there, whenever he came to see Kiba-san. Unlike Chou-chan -- not the otherChou becauseYamagawastillshakyandhejustdidn't -- who was pink and warm and glittery and shiny and just so open like the doors that you can open and made Yamagawa happy because.. because it was just like an open door and he liked open doors, Kiba-san was... he was like a wall. Darkdarkloomingthickblackdarkcold wall and who made Yamagawa wonder just how could a person living in a place this hot could be so so so muchicydarkcold..

And.. And it was colder. Because.. because even though it was cold before, Yamagawa could feel something behind it, like.. like something very much like Chou-chan but not open and.. and just not open and closed and shut so Yamagawa couldn't get though, and.. and suddenly it wasn't there and Yamagawa needed to know why it wasn't there because it made him --onlyveryslightlyalotvery-- nervous and he didn't like being nervous..

"No." The redhead rather shakily pushed himself up to his feet, a hand resting lightly on the arm of the chair as he swayed a little. He wasn't in the very best of shapes -- it was still shaky and cracked and he could feel them and had to smooth everything back over so he could be not cracked -- but he knew something wasn't right because.. because there was that warm thing behind Kiba-san's wall and now it wasn't there and he needed it back--

The snake gritted his teeth, hands clenching reflexively and sending another spike up pain driving up his arm. "Why the hell not?" he asked, voice tight, staring fixedly at a point on the wall. If he looked at Yamagawa right now, he'd shatter, because he couldn't handle this right now, and why wouldn't he just leave? He always left. Why was this time any different?

Besides, he had Chou-chan --thought with as much scorn as he could currently muster-- and Chou-chan was just...everything so it shouldn't matter about Kiba, right?

"...just go," he murmured, softer this time, almost pleading. If Yamagawa went away and --more importantly-- took Chou-chan with, then Kiba could compose himself and maybe get himself back to a somewhat decent appearance and attitude. Not like anyone would be able to tell if he was acting differently if he stuck on a mask. No one was that close. Swallowing a sigh, he shifted his weight onto one foot, eyes flickering down at the creepy bluesmoke that still trailed from his pantsleg, but it was fine there because it numbed everything else.

Feeling that nasty heaviness coming back to his mind, he methodically began shuffling the papers in his hands again, staring down at the crisp edges. If he focused on the papers at the biting sting in his hand, maybe he'd be able to convince himself that it didn't matter that Yamagawa was still here. Because if he could convince himself that it didn't matter, than he could fool anyone into thinking whatever he wanted of him.

Eyes wide, Chou took a step back towards the window, feeling the tension that suddenly rose in the air. He didn't know what was going on, but...but he knew that this wasn't his time to inturrput. He'd...he'd jsut let Yamagawa fix Kiba-san --because obviously Kiba-san was broken too-- and...Chou would just be over here...by the window...out of the way...

He saw that, this time. It was too blurred and swirly and everything was wavery and shaky so Yamagawa hadn't seen it before, but it did. He did. The wall shook and the floor shook and the temperature seemingly dropped inside the redhead's mind as the same darkhardtightcoldwall rose up a little higher, a little thicker, and it was sososoverycoldinhere and why was it cold..?

"--no." Because.. because it wasn't this cold or this high or.. or this dark, and Yamagawa didn't know when it started changing but he just so definitely saw it change this time again and.. and he wanted everything to be back the way it was, and so obviously there was something wrong with him or something wrong with Kiba-san -- even though Yamagawa couldn't think how something can be wrong with Kiba-san because.. because he was always so calmperfectbalancedcold and.. and he needed to get everything back--

"--I'm not---" Another shaky step followed, and the redhead --can'tthinkhavetogetthecoldgonehaveto-- felt his fingers brush against, then close around the folds of the shoulder of the other's gown, because he needed to know. Because.. because he didn't want a cold Kiba-san. He didn't want the coldcoldfreezingice voice or the equally freezing eyes or the emptydarknothingcoldness because.. because it wasn't the Kiba-san he knew and Yamagawa hated not knowing and-- "--going."

Kiba flinched at the touch on his shoulder. Actually, physically recoiled away from it. The papers fluttered frm his hands to the floor, but he didn't care. Yamagawa wasn't going even though Kiba so desperately wanted him to, needed him to, really, because if Yamagawa didn't go, then Kiba couldn't lie to himself and he'd still be stuck in this horrible limbo between feeling everything and feeling nothing, and feeling nothing was so much better than either choice and he couldn't get to either place...

Suddenly deeply, deeply afraid that Yamagawa would keep digging and he would spill everything, he ducked out of the grip, dancing away from the redhead. He couldn't do this, couldn't handle this, needed Yamagawa to go...

"Don't touch me," he hissed --actually, literally hissing-- pressing himself defensively against a wall, coiled and baring his fangs and for all intents and purposes ready to strike. "Don't touch me!" He meant it both physically and emotionally and mentally, and he needed them to go and why weren't they, because Kiba didn't matter so they should just go on to other things because it didn't matter. Why couldn't they understand that and just go?

Because...he needed to calm down...and he couldn't...and he really didn't want to bite Yamagawa but he would if he came too close so they needed to go so he wouldn't. Because there was a teeny tiny part that wanted nothing more than for Yamagawa to keep getting closer because then he wouldn't be all by himself, but that was part being so drowned out by everything else that it was unheard, and all he knew was that he wanted to be alone!
PostPosted: Tue Oct 03, 2006 9:05 pm

The redhead took a step back, the hand fluttering unsurely -- wantedtogocloserdon'tcan'tgoneedtobeaway -- before coming down to rest by his side, the tips of his fingers trembling softly as his eyes stared unblinkingly at the other. Don't....? Somewhere deep inside somewhere where he couldn't really feel but did just now clenched and contracted tightly together on itself, coiling around and wobbling slightly as the whole shaky balanced nervousness threatened to tip over and flood over everything.

There was.. There was something wrong. Something wrong with how Kiba-san stood, how he talked, how he breathed, how.. how he looked at Yamagawa and he didn't know what kind of how but the redhead knew it was bad -- at least, it wasn't good and he didn't want to see that look on Kiba-san's face because.. because he didn't know why but he didn't want to see it on Kiba-san---

His hands slowly stopped their almost-invisible shaking and curled up into loose fists, as the redhead took a step towards the other male. It was.. He was.. the same kind of calmcoolcolddark tendrils were coming at him and wrapping around him again just like when he was doing--

There was something wrong, and he knew it wasn't him -- just because it was him and he knew almostmaybeeverything about himself and so it must be Kiba-san who was wrong, and a slow thought was rising up the murky swirlyness that.. if he was wrong, then Yamagawa had to fix it, right? So everything would all be better and all it took was for him to reach out and--
