Ataru grinned wolfishly, "Oh yes, I'm sure you could, but we wouldn't want to take that chance now would we?" ((He's 30 on the mark)) She's such a cute girl, he thought, always trying to find a way to irk him. Come to think of it, she's probably never even seen him in any negative mood at all. Not that anything went over his head, he easily caught everything she threw at him, but... He knew what she was doing. His previous wife tried it a lot when they first started dating as teenagers, and he figured out how to deal with it.
He could tolerate anything, probably.
He nimbly evaded her grab, pulling her close to his chest and smiling, putting his other hand in hers. "What's this? A thief!?" His face crinkled as he smiled, a bright teethy grin.

Katsuko snarled as she was pulled to him, caught. Not an imitation of the sound, not a sad attempt, but an actual snarl. "Cheeky," she told him. "I'm not a theif, I'm just trying to take some responsibility here. Besides, carrying my stuff will do me some good in terms of arm strength."
As it were, she let her arms loosen and her muscles slacken. It felt nice to have attention, and Ataru's body let off a warmth that made the lithe brunette both giddy and heated the dark depths of her soul. With Ataru, there was hardly a worry about her amnesia or her lost memories. She was making new ones with him, and sometimes, that was enough.

Zanza took a quick sip from his tea before offerening the ice cold beverage to houka. " More? Its really good and really cheap, we can always come back for more. " he said takeing slow steps so houka could relax. " Honestly, I don't know. Anything could have happend to him. All im sure of is that we have a new sensei. Its ame's brother. Well hes not her blood brother but they have been together for a really long time. I didn't know that she lived with anyone. He seems to be an alright guy. We got off to a rocky start but i need to smooth things over. " he said stoping in the shade of a tree, takeing a seat on the bench that lie underneath.
" I'm not sure if i should tell you this. Its not really bad or anything but...Ame seems to have a long lost twin sister. Yeah, i had no idea and as far as i could tell, she didn't know about her either, but it seems she dose. We saw her last night, but i haven't seen her since. It was really weird to be honest. " he said crossing his legs on the bench. he leaned over them and placed his arms on top of his legs with his fingers laced. " The three of us are gonna need to train alot before we get sent out on our next asignment. I'm gonna study my clans scroll and try and unlock anouther of our jutsu, along with learning some other jutsu from our new sensei. I'm thinking about takeing an academey student aprentace to make some money. I'm pretty poor..." he said takeing a pause. " So what about you? What do you have planed? Anything? If not you wanna talk about it over a hot meal? "

Ataru let go of her hands, soflty sliding his fingers out from between hers, moving his fingertips across the inside of her hands, slowly tracing up her arms.. "Carrying your stuff would mean a total transfer of bags, my dear. And besides, you'd lag behind."
He gently laid his hands on her hips, looking intently into her eyes. He would save that kind of stuff for private. Ataru knew she would see this as a challenge, and he looked forward to her attempts to grab some things, because she would be close to him. But there would be no way he would relinquish anything off of the pack.

It was a bit difficult for Katsuko to concentrate on being annoyed, but she managed to pull it off. She threw her hands in the air, her aura giving off a feeling of frustrated amusement. Of course he would not let her carry things. She was much too fragile and precious to strain herself, barring the fact that six times of ten she could beat him in a fight.
She would get him back, though. Her face became distracted momentarily, then brightened as an idea popped into her head. "You know, we could find a place to stay, drop off these things, and relax for a bit." She smiled mischeviously at him, her eyes sparkling with mirth and a hint of hidden emotion only Ataru would see and know.

He smiled in a mix of amusement and mild adoration, followed quickly by a widening of eyes and reddening of the cheeks.
"Well, love, we need to see if the Tsuchikage is in first. I don't think it would be greatly appreciated if we just started living here randomly, I am a registered Jounin, I'm sure it would need to be known if I'm here." There was still something he just couldn't stand about her... Her ability to incapacitate him like that. So far as he knew, she hadn't caught on that she had that kind of power over him. Maybe he could think of something.
"I suppose maybe we could drop our things off and then..." His voice trailed off, leaving her to finish his ********, writers block PLUS being ragged on by my grandma to do s**t))

Katsuko winked, not shy about herself at all. She knew that she sometimes threw him off balance, but knowing that and catching it were two highly different things. "I'm highly inclined to see where those thoughts are taking you," she nearly purred. "Shall we? Which way to the nearest hotel?"
She smiled demurely, wiggling her hips slightly as his hands were still holding them. She saw the blush that stained his cheeks and thought it was adorable, which made her want to make him blush even more. So she kissed him on the nose.

"I think it's over th---" The kiss caught him totally off guard, and inside he was laughing. But outside, he was a little bit stunned. Soon enough, however, he found himself again.
Ataru put his hand under her legs and lifted her up, holding her close to his chest, and sharply changed directions towards the big hotel sign to the left. "Hold on, love, we'll be there soon enough. You don't need to be so damn obvious."

Katsuko grumbled something about being able to walk, but allowed Ataru to hold her. He was strong (though never stronger than herself) and it felt nice to be supported in more ways than one. She laughed rather loudly at his comment about being obvious, though.
"You hypocrite," she said. "There I was, giving you a kiss, and then you go and pick me up. If that isn't more obvious than my little showcase, I can think of very few things that could top it."
As they approached the desk, she reached into one of his pockets and pulled out enough money for a three-night stay. "Just in case," she whispered before handing the money to the front desk operator. "Shall we?"

"Hahaha, in my eyes you were more blatant." Ataru commented, as Katsuko put the wallet back in his pocket. He heard the clerk say something about newlyweds, but didn't respond. He smiled once more at Katsuko before saying, "How subtle you were was a lot more obvious in one way than my picking you up, was it not?"
Ataru (with difficulty) took the room key from the clerk, and began to walk towards the stairs. "Would you be so independant as to walk up the stairs on your own?" He grinned at her. "Or would you grant me the simple desire to not let your feet touch the ground for the remainder of the evening?"

Katsuko grinned cheekishly. "Well, it's not my fault you wanted to carry all of the stuff. So the only way I'll get down, is if you let me carry some of my things," she scolded. She honestly doubted he would comply, but it was worth a shot. After all, if she gave up right away, then he'd be the completely dominant one and where would that leave a poor girl like her?
Still, she didn't want to hurt himself, so before she could answer, she untangled herself from his arms. His hand, however, she would not relinquish, and as she began pulling him up the stairs to their room, she tried to smuggle the key from his hand.

Ataru followed Katsuko up the stairs, letting her lead him like a small child. She needed to be stong, he knew, so he would let her. But he kept an iron grip on the room key. He wouldn't let her open the door, no way in Hell.
As he was walking up behind her he said cheerfully, "The lady doth protest too much, methinks."

Katsuko pouted, thrusting out her lower lip as cutely as possible. "I'm no lady. C'mon, just let me have the key. It's not like I'm going to lock you out or anything...." She trailed off, recalling their last hotel stay.
Both of them had been in a similar mood, and they had been going to the nearet hotel to remedy the situation. However, Katsuko being who she was, she took the key from his grasp (after sufficiently distracting him) and pushed him out the door, sans clothing. She found it very funny, but apologized profusely afterward. She was still waiting for him to get back at her.
((If this isn't finished in twenty minutes, Roy's going to walk in on them apparently.))

Ataru grinned profusely. "Oh no you don't, hahaha! 'Wisely and slow; they stumble that run fast.'" He kept his grip firm on the key, and her hand, and trailed up the remainder of the steps behind her.
When they reached the top he quickly glanced for the room numbers, and felt relieved that it was the 2nd on the right. Ataru let go of her hand and moved ahead of her, putting the key in the door and swinging it open in a swift motion. He stepped back for her, and said (sincerely), "After you, my Lady."

Katsuko flushed slightly. She would never get over his blatant honesty when it came to her or his feelings. It was very nice, something she took immense pleasure in. She obligingly walked through the door, behaving herself and not playing "who can keep whom out the longest".
She took a brief glance around, then turned to him, standing in the middle of the room. "Okay, we're here, so drop the stuff and get your cute arse over here," she demanded to him. Her eyes began to sparkle and glitter once more.
((It's fine. I'm just warning you, we'll soon have a ten year old child coming up here.))
