Well I've been on Gaia too much today. I'm going to go try and do something more productive such as throw out more junk. I keep too many things thinking they will come in handy one day. Sure maybe one day they might come in handy, but I don't think it's really worth it. Knowing me I'll be checking back into here every so often.

Haha I know. He doesn't actually. I just heard him yell "God!" about something and he sounded just like Napoleon.

Am I the only person that hasn't seen that move in its entirity?
Because from what I saw, it sucked. So why is everyone quoting it?
Is it one of those movies like Rocky Horror that sucks so bad it's actually good somehow?

No, it's one of those movies where you watch it and realize that you either were that kid in high school, or you knew that kid.

[Q] Am I the only person that hasn't seen that move in its entirity? Because from what I saw, it sucked. So why is everyone quoting it? Is it one of those movies like Rocky Horror that sucks so bad it's actually good somehow? It's a bad movie. I haven't seen the whole thing at once but I have seen it all. My brother wasn't quoting it, he just sounded freakishly similar. I don't think he's even seen it. It's humor is awkward which is my favourite kind of humor, but because it's intentional I can't help but not be amused.

I've also never been to a concert -- unless you count the Boston Pops. Well, I went to a blues club once with my parents, but that's rather different. I did enjoy it, though.
scream ROCKY HORROR DOES NOT SUCK! No, it really, really, really doesn't. It is camp as all hell, but dude, it was designed to be that way.
Napoleon Dynamite. It doesn't suck, they just took the easy way out. The whole first half is rather masterfully done, and by that I mean it's painful (at least it was for me) to sit through it. Everything in it is just so awful, but I thought, no, this is what it's like. It's good that it's being shown and I will sit through how extremely uncomfortable and shitty it makes me feel out of respect for that. But the end desolves into a completely unrealistic wish-fulfilment type ending which basically nulifies all the respectable work they put into the beginning. And it's really awful -- pissed me off to no end.
I didn't mind when things started getting hopeful about halfway through. Hope is good. People need hope. But as soon as it becomes unrealistic and silly it loses its effectiveness.

Agreement? In this guild? No ******** way!
In other news, this girl who's profile I answered on PlanetOut e-mailed me back. surprised exclaim And we IMed a bit. And I was nervous as hell and thought I would explode. And I feel like maybe she was a little disinterested, but that could just be the paranoia talking. She said she thought I seemed "cool." I'm not sure what that means. But she lives right outside of Harvard Square, and -- ahh! Um, but I really should be studying. Yes.
