Lucian nodded, watching in front of them as he walked. It was quiet, nice. A chaotic month, but this end seemed calm enough. Eh. At least he wasn't the one in the penthouse getting his nails done.

Alex grinned his sister. "Xini, you know I would." He answered, standing up now. It was pretty much decided; no painting Alex's toes. Jennalin was now filming Lixini's reaction to Alex's statement, laughing behind the camera as she did so. Krixion was giggling at the idea of Lixini having short hair - it seemed impossible to the little girl. Ashriel was rolling her eyes, smiling at the fact that things were normal.

Alex rolled his eyes at both of his sisters. "As long as my toes don't get painted, Xini gets to keep her hair." He answered, leaning against the wall now. Jennalin laughed at the footage she was getting from Lixini - it was always funny when someone suggested cutting her hair. When Val came in, Jennalin stopped laughing, smiling at the solution. This was why it always began with this - this way, everyone was calm by the time the cake got there. Krixion continued giggling at her older sister's clutching of the hair. What would Lixini do without her hair, anyway?

Lucian led the way to the elevator up to the penthouse suite, praying that they'd finished with Alex.

Alex grumbled, looking at the two older males. "Next time, I get the cake." He said, his now brightly colored indigo nails dry. Lucian set the cake on the counter, looking at his sister, who was now filming him.

"Jen, stop with the camera." He said smoothly, to which his sister pouted and put it away. She only ever recorded the painting of the nails, and if the camera was away, so was the nail polish.

Krixion came behind Max and Lexie, her face confused. "Cake?" She asked softly, apparently confused.

Ashriel smiled, going over to Raevyn and hugging him.

Ashriel fell into a blush when the singing started. Lucian loudly joined in after his own sister had, followed quickly by a suddenly happy Alex. Krixion was last to join, mispronouncing every word as she attempted to follow along.

Ashriel looked up at Raevyn before blowing out the candles, a smile on her face. Krixion pulled at Lexie's clothes, whispering to her older sister. "Lexie, why wishy?" She asked, her eyes looking at her slightly older sister, who, at this point, was the all-knowing one according to Krixion.

Alex managed to swipe his twin sister's phone from her pocket while she was distracted by the candles. He quickly texted a single message (Do you think I'd look good with short hair?) to every contact in her phone before sliding it sneakily back into her pocket.

Jennalin's phone went off, along with Valixia and Alex's. Jen peeked at the phone, then eyed Alex.

Alex simply grinned back at his older sister, before mouthing a single word back. 'Revenge.' He then appeared to check his own phone's message, only to delete it.

Krixion nodded, watching up at Ashriel. Lucian leaned over to whisper to Raevyn. "Let me guess. No birthday parties?" He asked in a whisper soft enough that no one else in the room could hear. He then lifted the cake from in front of Ashriel, taking it to the kitchen. "I'm cutting it!" He declared, spinning as he walked. Ashriel tilted her head up and kissed Raevyn suddenly on the cheek, smiling.

Ashriel smiled brightly up at Raevyn. "No, not really." She answered quietly, as Lucian slid a piece of cake into her hands, followed by him setting a piece near Raevyn.

Alex looked down and read the text that came through to his phone. He sent his own message (I am not a bobo, you are.) out in reply to his twin. Ah, they are so mature, aren't they?

Ashriel took a bite of her cake, grinning. "It definitely wasn't." She chuckled, eating her cake quietly.

Alex sighed, eying his sister. Lucian slid a piece of cake into his hands, followed by one to Lixini, to quiet the twins. He then slid mini pieces to the younger twins and Krixion. Finally, he got his sister, then Valixia, then himself a piece. He leaned against the counter as he ate quietly.
